Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

Wow juni full term though, it just sounds imminent! I know it may well not be, but still... Exciting exciting :)

laurenamium · 30/09/2014 18:18

Aw that's a lovely pony Zyla! Envy DD has moved on from lovely fluffy ponies to plastic tat my little ponies. Not anywhere near as nice to look at!

Nessalina · 30/09/2014 18:25

Awwww sweetness! Smile

Missed the point about you being full term Juni! Shock And I thought 35 weeks was scary! I really need to pack a hospital bag...

DH has a cold and didn't go to work today. He's been mooching around moaning which I thoroughly resent, because mooching around moaning is MY thing. I've just snapped at him for using crappy 44p a box tissues rather than the nice Kleenex (which might sooth rather than shred his nose) - I'm a monster aren't i?!

laurenamium · 30/09/2014 19:16

Grin At your DH being in trouble for using the wrong tissues ness!

wilmabedrock · 30/09/2014 19:18

I never got a hb listen at 16 week. Just another boring appointment I think.

Tsk pis. You need notes for every appointment. Black mark next to your name Grin .

Lauren I felt this baby a couple of weeks before first scan - just the flutters like you mention. With first baby think I was past 20 weeks before I felt anything.

So....think I might just go to bed.

Nessalina · 30/09/2014 19:37

I already can't remember when I started to feel him move! I should have kept a diary Confused

laurenamium · 30/09/2014 19:40

Oh it maybe was baby then wil Grin I'm 10+3...ill just go with it and assume it is, that's much more exciting than trapped wind Grin

couldbeanyone · 30/09/2014 20:02

In my first pregnancy midwife listened o heartbeat at booking in appointment! No such luck this time.

I was asked by someone at work today whether I am pregnant. Slightly taken aback, I really didn't think this was the done thing?!

couldbeanyone · 30/09/2014 20:04

Posted too soon...am nearly 10 weeks and not ready to make it public, but couldn't say no don't be ridiculous either.

laurenamium · 30/09/2014 20:06

I hope you said "nope just fat" with an apologetic smile could? Even if you're a tiny size 0 I find this shames people suitably Grin

wilmabedrock · 30/09/2014 20:13

Good response lauren.

Very rude to ask could. What did you say?

Nessalina · 30/09/2014 20:34

How rude! Shock What did you say?
I hated denying it (just felt like bad mojo somehow silly superstitious mare) so if people asked straight out I'd say yes. Which is why it's such bad form to ask!!
A friend at a wedding said 'ooh, I really want to ask if you're pregnant!' So I just said, 'but you wouldn't would you?' And gave her a paddington hard stare.

Nessalina · 30/09/2014 20:35

Now why didn't my strike out work there?? testing must have been the bracket)

couldbeanyone · 30/09/2014 20:56

I said it wasn't public knowledge, to be honest so taken aback. Couldn't think of a decent retort! Apparently it's because I am "glowing" hmmm not last time I checked

gaggiagirl · 30/09/2014 21:08

I would like to glow. However the world still continues to fall out of my arse on an hourly basis Grin
I'm waiting up for DP to get home from work. I stupidly promised him an evening of passion. I'm so tired.

ZylaB · 30/09/2014 21:20

I'm nearly 18 weeks and am doubting I'm ever going to glow gaggia :(

RPopz · 30/09/2014 21:22

Hope your arse holds up for your night of passion gaggia?

Definitely not the done thing could how rude. Apparently three quarters of the people I work with were suspicious for weeks... however only one person was actually rude enough to outright ask. I ignored her cos she's a bit of a dick anyway!! People always just like to be the first to know things I think... or to pretend they knew all along anyway. I found it all rather irritating Angry You shouldn't feel pressured into telling people before you're ready.

TabbyTurmoil · 30/09/2014 21:23

could I had a similar question from a friend at work at about 9 weeks (it was because I wasn't drinking which to be fair is out of character) and basically choked and stammered. I didn't want to lie to a friend but I wasn't ready to tell and be congratulated while I was still feeling tentative about the pregnancy. She's young about 27 and probably doesn't have lots of friends with kids yet and I think she'll think twice before asking anyone else. I wasn't annoyed - just a bit shell shocked, if that's the right word.

Telling work was fine in the end, although I haven't spoken to any of the conservative types yet. My direct boss is only a little bit older than me and I don't think he's judgemental at all. I told some friends today. It feelt very weird and scary - partly I feel like a fraud (even though I've seen the baby about 4 times), partly I worry things will go wrong and partly that people will see me differently or start seeing a "mummy" not me if you see what I mean.

juni and ness babies coming soonish, how exciting!

gaggia you have a beautiful way with words!

RPopz · 30/09/2014 21:23

No glow here either Wink At 26 weeks I think my chance has been and gone haha!

TabbyTurmoil · 30/09/2014 21:26

ness I've never heard of a paddington hard stare but I like the sound of it! good comeback.

TabbyTurmoil · 30/09/2014 21:27

I wish I had a glow - I just have spots Sad

JuniDD · 30/09/2014 21:30

I am apparently glowing. It's just sweat though, carting this kid around is hard work. Wink

Been a bit crampy tonight...Shock sure this'll be standard for the next six weeks

gaggiagirl · 30/09/2014 21:53

tabby I'm spotty as hell too Sad

Oi! juni ! Bit crampy you say? Ooh exciting times. Baby time soon.

callipygian00 · 30/09/2014 22:06

Could I'm so nervous about my boss asking me and totally don't know what to say if he does ask. Don't want him to know until 12 weeks at least but he's the sort of hard-necked person who totally needs to know, so when the symptoms come I'm going to have to try every trick in the book to stop him being suspicious!

I got my first bona fide preggo symptom today - my boobs were big this morning! Totally deflated now likes, but for once in my life I had big boobs! Were anyone else's boobs unable to decide whether they wanted to be big or not?! Not sure if it's altogether normal...

Nessalina · 30/09/2014 22:14

Lol, mine seemed to get bigger as the day went on! Grin They're just round the clock whoppers now!

As pregnancy has progressed I've realised that 'ooh you're glowing!' means 'you're flipping enormous!' Grin
