Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

Awful news La Sad Love & strength to you and your OH, I hope it happens again very soon for you!
If it's helpful, I had TFMR at 16 weeks early last Nov, bled for 2 weeks, then AF returned mid Dec, got BFP on third cycle, end of Feb.
The JSers will look after you til we get you back, hopefully very soon!! Xx

Nessalina · 30/09/2014 06:51

TMI alert!
Second day of mat leave: killer diarrhoea from 5:30am Hmm
Why can't my body just let me have a lie in?!

Pisghetti · 30/09/2014 08:46

Aw Ness that sucks! Hope you feel better soon.

Nessalina · 30/09/2014 10:12

It's all gone quiet...

The tide seems to have turned. Got a bit more sleep! Feel terrible - missed a midwife's appointment yesterday Confused And they're super short on appointments too, so feel like a real time waster Sad I forgot to put it in my phone!

laurenamium · 30/09/2014 10:52

Oh no ness! Blame baby brain! Wink

Day off here Grin last one that isn't a weekend until Christmas so I'm making the most of it and ignoring all the housework

ZylaB · 30/09/2014 11:03

Aww ness feel better!

JuniDD · 30/09/2014 11:03

Glad you got some sleep ness. Apparently the dodgy tummy is normal towards the end, everything softening up!

I am "full term" today, 37 weeks. Back on knicker-watch! Shock

Nessalina · 30/09/2014 11:12

Extra weirdness this morning - I've got dark patches on my PJ top in the nipple zone, so I guess they must be leaking Shock Not noticed them being damp - very weird! I suppose it's good to know that they're working Grin

Pisghetti · 30/09/2014 12:11

I've turned up for my quad test without my notes. I think I would have had a less contemptuous reception had I turned up pissed....

Nessalina · 30/09/2014 14:37

Oh dear Confused Did she kill you with her laser eyes?! Shock

wilmabedrock · 30/09/2014 14:37

What's a quad test? Very funny though, I love that not having your notes is akin to crime of the century.

Juni, I'll be really jealous if you go early/on time with first baby. It should be the law that everyone experiences the hideousness of being overdue. Grin

Guess what? Yep, I'm knackered. Although how good is the weather? Regretting putting tights on this morning.

laurenamium · 30/09/2014 14:54

Grin At not having your notes being a crime!

Can I ask when people first felt their baby move? I'm sure I felt mine move today when I was laid down, just fluttering. But is 10 weeks not too early? 2nd child if that makes any difference so my muscles will be ruined Grin

Pisghetti · 30/09/2014 14:58

It's the 16 week blood test for proteins associated with Downs and other trisomy disorders. They were having trouble getting bloods from us ladies today though. The lady before me ended up being sent away to phlebotomy after four attempts - they gave me two 'stabs' (their term!) before getting a sample. I saw three people in all - they all said 'oh, so you're the lady who forgot her notes'. Surely it can't be that unusual! It didn't even occur to me I'd need them for a blood test.

I'm with Wil, Juni Grin the horror of the daily barrage of "any news?"! Oh yes mum I had the baby but forgot to tell you.... NO there isn't any bloody news - except it won't leave!

Working from home thanks to my appointment so I was able to get some washing on line to make the most of the sunshine. This might be the highlight of my week!

Pisghetti · 30/09/2014 15:01

I can't remember with my first Lauren but I haven't felt this one yet despite it hopping around like a jumping bean at the scan four weeks ago.

cookielove · 30/09/2014 16:32

I felt little man at 20- 22 weeks but I am tubby Blush

pis in my area that test had to be done before 14 weeks.

I can't believe how warm it is!

Pisghetti · 30/09/2014 16:40

I think it's normally done alongside the nuchal fold measurement which needs to be done by 14 weeks but they don't offer that here at the moment. During my 12 week scan she took the measurement as they're collecting statistics ahead of its reintroduction which is this week I think?

ZylaB · 30/09/2014 17:04

II was told at my scan last week that I've got anterior placenta so won't feel her for a bit longer. It's a shame, but knowing why I can't feel anything yet will stop me from worrying, I'd rather know why, then I won't stress :)

It's our wedding anniversary today and we went into town to the galleries of justice cos we'd both wanted to go and had a lovely time pottering around and then drinking tea! Also went in a couple of shops and DH bought our little girl a pony, couldn't resist it! (We know we should be buying the essentials, but this really made us go awww)

It's my 16 week midwife appointment tomorrow, at 17+5, what will happen??

laurenamium · 30/09/2014 17:19

Never too soon for ponies Zyla Wink ponies are definitely an essential haha!

Ill put this down to wind thenHmmGrin

ZylaB · 30/09/2014 17:27

I've been trying to post a picture of it, but it won't upload, I'll find a link instead. I used to have horses, so I'm hoping she'll want to ride :)

here's the pony

cookielove · 30/09/2014 17:34

Awwww that's cute zyla

RPopz · 30/09/2014 17:50

Aaah that is a lovely pony! I've got anterior placenta too Zyla - have felt flutters and taps since about 18 weeks though. Getting a full on daily beating now at 26+3! 16 week app was just blood pressure, co3 measurement, wee dipstick and baby heartbeat for me. Seems to vary whether they do the heartbeat or not.
OMG Juni!!! Shock

Hope you're feeling better Ness x

JuniDD · 30/09/2014 18:01

That is a lovely pony, what a nice DH zyla. My 16 week appt was a bit of an anti-climax but I know others have heard the heartbeat etc.

Quite enjoying telling people the baby could come any day...in the next six weeks!
