Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

Oh and Costa lemon cake is evil! I made a really bad excuse to go past today so I could have some lol!

laurenamium · 26/09/2014 13:24

Mmmmm giant elephant profiteroles Envy I can't bake at all. In a terrible cook. But I did buy cakes from the coffee morning at DDs school this morning as a contribution. Not because I want cake honest Grin

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 13:30

Now I want cake!

Pisghetti · 26/09/2014 13:34

My mum used to make amazing things with choux pastry... she's on holiday at the moment but I might press for some choux buns when she's back Grin

Our coffee morning is next Friday - has someone messed up here?! I want cake! I brought soup for lunch because I'm going out for dinner tonight but forgot that my stomach/brain doesn't work like that and are now ganging up on me to demand more food. We're currently working on goals in work. I've decided the closest to a SMART goal I have at the moment is to be the size of a house come March.

I decided to tackle laundry last night. Four bloody piles of it before towels and bedding! There's only two of us! Only two washed so far so I may need to take a pile to DP's to do as I'm there this weekend. No wonder poor DS has been struggling to find clean shirts Blush

JuniDD · 26/09/2014 14:37

Afternoon viroids!

Best of luck la, all things crossed for you. I can ramble on for England if you like...

I finished work at 30 weeks so been off QUITE a while! I was having problems with a colleague so they just said I could go early! Easier than sorting out the psycho...

Midwife today - she weighed me! ARGH! I've put on 3 stone so worried she'd be like - uh oh - but she said that was fine. PHEW. Then she had a feel and it's 3/5 engaged and she reckons it'll be about 7.5lbs. We talked a bit about homebirth and I think she was sort of gently steering me to MLU at hospital which we're seeing on Sunday but I'm ok with that. She was also really kind as I'm getting a lot of flare-ups of sadness/anxiety/worry from the molar pregnancy and she was really reassuring.

Those of you with NCT BedNest, I just got some beautiful sheets from a company called Quick Brown Fox of Dulwich, really colourful - I want some for my bed! The BedNest is due to arrive on Monday. Then we are READY! Packed the hospital bags last night with MrJuni so yeah...four more days of cooking and then baby can come whenever s/he likes. Shock

wilmabedrock · 26/09/2014 14:43

Aren't you due October Juni? Don't be too keen, you'll never get this lovely time to yourself again Grin .

I don't think my antibiotics are going to work. Nearly finished them and it's still pretty sore so I assume when I stop it will just flare up again. Hope they can get me in for treatment earlier than the scheduled app in November.

Oh, didn't shit in the pool today so that was a bonus!

RPopz · 26/09/2014 15:03

La from the brief bit of reading I've done it seems that pseudo gestational sacs are more often babies than not! So you've every right to be positive.

The bras are like heaven!! Wish I hadn't been such a pig headed idiot and invested in some sooner!! Plus I don't have underwire guilt anymore Wink

In Bordeaux at the mo, for a friends wedding. Should be a nice thing but it's been such a bloody hassle and expense I'm feeling super grumpy about it. Plus the nursery furniture set I've wanted for an AGE has sold out... after I nearly ordered it yesterday but then didn't because the plasterer rearranged.... AGAIN Sad

laurenamium · 26/09/2014 15:42

What is the thing about underwires? I have underwire bras and I had them all the way through when I had DD. I couldn't get away with breast feeding her though...am I injuring myself??

RPopz · 26/09/2014 15:48

No-one medical has ever mentioned it to me, but I've read on here and in books that wearing underwired bras in pregnancy is not great for your boobs / milk ducts... something. Plus the bra fitter in M&S last night gave me a right bollocking when I told her I was 26 weeks gone.... apparently they're not good after about 16 weeks... She was v disapproving haha Smile She sorted me right out though!

ZylaB · 26/09/2014 15:55

Wow juni you're so organised :)

rpopz I have big boobs and gave in and got non underwired as I needed new ones, they don't hold them quite the same but are soooooo much more comfy!

ZylaB · 26/09/2014 16:06

What nursery set did you want?

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 16:18

juni that's impressive! Did you take leave to give yourself time before baby or is this mat leave?

popz I can imagine stiffing swollen boobs into something that's underwire isn't recipe for comfort! I whip my bra off every eve around 6 anyway, pregnant or not. Can't stand them. Can't wait til I'm 60 odd and can just let it all hang loose.

I've got stabby fanjo. Was trying to do the hoovering but started to hurt so I'm lying down. The scan was 20 mins of poking me particularly in area with mass and I think I'm a bit bruised. Just feel heavy and sore.

What's nct bednest? I will google...ahh it's a little crib :) I do hope we get to have one someday.

When I was at the hospital a lady went past on a trolley with the tiniest little baby, obviously just born. My heart melted she was gorgeous! Even mr la went aaaaah!

Oooh bordeaux! I'd love to go there! But not so much fun if you can't drink the wine :) is it warm?

I was meant to be working tonight at my 2nd job but luckily mr la is the boss and has called someone else in. So it's just me and the gingers.

laurenamium · 26/09/2014 16:45

Handy that mrla is the boss of your second job la so that you can relax with the cats!

DP was supposed to be home tonight, been away training and working since Tuesday morning. But he's text a grovelling begging text asking my permission if he can go out with the team tonight and can I pick him up in the morning instead Hmm. Like he needs my permission! I must have been very grumpy lately Grin if anything it saves me driving for an hour and a half after work tired, I do miss him though!

Thanks for the explanation re underwiring! I need new bras as my boobs have grown but another one with fairly big boobs so reluctant to give up the underwire just yet!

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 16:46

I may have just sneezed, farted and followed through. Is this thread pooing of oneself catching?

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 16:47

Crap. Sneezed again

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 16:48

What dos your dp do Lauren? Is he a sportsman?

laurenamium · 26/09/2014 16:48

GrinGrin La!! I'm loving these live poo updates! God we are glamorous!

laurenamium · 26/09/2014 16:50

He's a kickboxer la, teaches kickboxing but trains Kung fu and kick boxing. And does organised K1 fights for money quite regularly crazy person Smile he's just got back into the actual fights quite recently after he fell off my horse and hurt his back. So I think he's missed his friends- bless him Grin

ZylaB · 26/09/2014 17:05

Lol at the poo! I hope this isn't catching! ;)

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 17:12

Panic over - I'm poo free!

cookielove · 26/09/2014 19:01

I wrote a really long post and poof its gone!
la, glad that there is still some hope for a positive outcome.

I have officially given up breastfeeding after a long 6 week struggle he just wasn't feeding well and always being topped up by huge amounts of bottle e.g 5oz
Quite sad about it :(

wilmabedrock · 26/09/2014 19:02

Glad we're all doing better on the poo front today.

I have totally overdone it and am so sore. Too much frigging hoovering.

KatoPotato · 26/09/2014 19:06

Can I trade? I'm straining for a mere pebble to plip out! It's all in there!!

wilmabedrock · 26/09/2014 19:06

Sorry Cookie, that's so unfair when you wanted to do it but it's really hard for wee ones born that early to get a hang of it. No point stressing yourself out and Elijah will be fine. Well done for getting this far. Look forward to wearing normal bras and dresses which don't have boob flaps! Grin

KatoPotato · 26/09/2014 19:08

Cookie don't feel bad. I only lasted 12 days with DS. The longest 12 days of my life. Hated every minute.
