Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

Cork, Wil?

laurenamium · 26/09/2014 06:54

Good luck this morning la!!

ZylaB · 26/09/2014 07:11

Fx la

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 07:15

Thanks lauren I've woken up feeling very dejected and sad. My boobs are back down to normal size and no pain at all. I don't feel pregnant, I think my baby is gone. I kind of want to get there today and just have decision either way so if it's gone we can grieve and get ready to try again. But I know it's going to be a long day Hmm

I can't stop thinking that I'm 34 and it's getting late for us and that I wanted two children. I'm panicking because I thought we'd finally done it after 14 months, but now here we are - there's something there but it's not right. And until it's dealt with I can't move on.

I'm just so sad.

wilmabedrock · 26/09/2014 07:36

It's awful to go through this Lala, especially after trying for so long. Don't worry about your age. I know loads of mums in their 40s with babies/toddlers. You will get there, be it this time or the next. Hoping more than anything that you get a lovely surprise today, but if not, I know you'll use that endless positivity and tenacity you seem to have to keep going. We'll be here for you either way Thanks .

splodge77 · 26/09/2014 09:08

oh la, I'm so sorry you are going through this, especially after a long wait to conceive, so bloody unfair. Try not to panic about your age though, you have plenty of time. Most of my friends having babies are in their late 30s and some in early 40s. (I'm 37) The endless bloody news articles etc about a sharp fertility drop at 35 are just wrong! - based on stats from a study in the 1700s!!

Thinking of you today. Take care of yourself.

Pisghetti · 26/09/2014 09:49

La this is so unfair. I hope above all else that you have a hide and seek champ. We're all rooting for you and Squidge x

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 10:24

Hi viroids
I have more positive news. Sac looks right shape but v v small. No evidence of baby but could be too early if long cycles. Mass is definitely corpus luteum but ectopic not completely ruled out so I'm still to keep watch for pain. Going back in two weeks for rescan x

KatoPotato · 26/09/2014 10:25

WAHHHH!!!

RPopz · 26/09/2014 10:29

Oh La!! I'm so pleased its not bad news but not that you're still in limbo... Sad Chin up lady x

Pisghetti · 26/09/2014 10:36

Grin Grin

I'm so glad there's still a good chance that all is well but sorry you don't know what's happening for sure yet x

ZylaB · 26/09/2014 10:36

Well I think that's positive la I know the next 2 weeks are going to be hell though, I hope they go quickly for you x

KatoPotato · 26/09/2014 10:41

Sorry, that was my initial reaction!

Two weeks is a long time, but stay positive you must. Wow. Hide and seek champ indeed.

Minion · 26/09/2014 10:41

Right, come on littlela, stop making mummy nervous and come into the spotlight!
So happy that you are more positive, fingers crossed it just goes quickly for you.x

laurenamium · 26/09/2014 11:07

Excellent that its positive news! But not that you're still in limbo. Get planning lots of busy activities! Thanks

couldbeanyone · 26/09/2014 11:40

Positive news la, everything crossed Smile

wilmabedrock · 26/09/2014 11:50

Keeping all gingers crossed for you La (been reading the other thread).

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 12:42

Tis very odd though. I got bfp two weeks after af started. If baby is only 5 weeks them I conceived 2 days after I got bfp.

Just did digi and it says pregnant 2-3 weeks. All very odd. Why can't I just be normal!? I am feeling a bit more positive but until I get that scan I will still not get hopes up. Have had to let midwife and dr know as I'm not sure whether to carry on as normal with appointments.

Had anyone any experience if being dated earlier at scan to your dates?

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 13:08

Right - I think it's time I put my positivity hat on and my doubts in a box. For next two weeks I'm going to focus on you lot and your stories.

Tell me stuff that's going on with you. zyla did you buy the buggy with red good? gaggia how's your bum today? Would you like me to send you a poo cup?
juni have you finished work yet?
popz how are the comfy new bras?
min what the heck are elephant feet? Is it cake?

Pisghetti · 26/09/2014 13:08

I don't have any experience sorry but your BFP was a faint line on a frer right? A definite line but nonetheless quite light. Since the frer is super-duper sensitive, did it pick up the earliest traces of HCG given out by the blastocyst much earlier in the pregnancy than other HPTs? Therefore meaning you conceived a few days earlier and putting the pregnancy at an early enough stage that the sac is still all that can be seen?

The people at the EPU must see this fairly often so if they're saying it's just too early then it probably is?

The other thing I wondered... People use OPKs as pregnancy tests right because of the similarity in the chemical structure of LH and HCG? Is it possible for the frer to actually have picked up the LH surge and so conception did happen after your BFP? Probably not but I did wonder....

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 13:10

*hood not good

pis you could be right, that sounds plausible and we dtd into the week after

Minion · 26/09/2014 13:15

la strange things going on with the dates there. I hope it's just a late one for you. Elephants feet are just giant profiteroles... Soo yummy (but choux is a bugger to make)

wilmabedrock · 26/09/2014 13:16

Good for you La. Unfortunately my chat is shit today. I feel like I need a team of cheerleaders to get me through tidying up. How is it possible to have so much bloody laundry?

ZylaB · 26/09/2014 13:17

la at an early scan they changed my date by 5 days, despite me telling them we'd been using cbfm and I knew when I'd ovulated, then at 12 week scan they changed it back to be 3 days before I thought, I figured 3 days didn't matter and couldn't be arsed arguing with them. I always had long cycles though, this was the first one in ages when I'd iced 2 weeks after af like a 'normal' person, and I got a bfp, so could be slightly different icing?

No pram yet, not going to get it until after 20 week scan, which is at 21+5 (I'd complain but it's late cos we're on holiday so I cant hehe) am back into the wheat one atm, but want to go and see wheat and red next to each other somewhere!!

ZylaB · 26/09/2014 13:18

wil I have tidying to do too but am putting it off for a little while as DH will be late home anyway!
