Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

Well done cookie for lasting so long! I lasted 4 days with DD ConfusedBlush formula these days is so good and he will have already have had all the good stuff in your colostrum early on!

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 19:46

cookie well done for persevering - I know so many people who haven't managed it for very long because their babies just didn't take to it. Not your fault, you've done what you can and he'll have had the most important stuff straight from birth.

How's he getting on?

ZylaB · 26/09/2014 19:51

Cookie you tried, it doesn't always work out and it's not your fault, he'll get everything he needs form the formula now he's had colostrum, don't be sad, just enjoy him...and teehee at 'boob flaps' wil!

Nessalina · 26/09/2014 21:08

Hi everyone! About a million updates today - and I'm sure half were poo related Grin

La - thrilled that there's hope! It's so hard to get dating right, really hope it's just an earlier bean that expected Smile Two weeks of positive mental attitude coming up!!

Cookie - you've done so well with him being so wee, don't beat yourself up! He'll have got the good stuff, and formula has all he needs Smile

I'm also in new bra heaven Smile I've been in underwires after the nice lady in Bravissimo said they were fine for the upduffed so long as they were fitted fitted right, but baby has his arse right up under my ribs now, so no more room! Got some softy M&S ones now and they're bliss!

Tomorrow is my last day at work Shock Just 3.5hrs til mat leave!

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 21:36

Thanks ness!
How exciting that you're almost done Grin

Anyone else watching X factor? I'm taping strictly

wilmabedrock · 26/09/2014 21:45

I am la. Cheryl has made some odd choices.

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 21:55

On today I can see why she got rid of Chloe jasmine coz she was terrible. But some of the others I don't get :(

Nessalina · 26/09/2014 21:55

I'm watching the golf Blush
Sky+ing Xfactor, going to switch over in a mo!
Can't be arsed with Strictly... It's not the same without Brucie Sad

ZylaB · 26/09/2014 22:04

ness how exciting mat leave starts tomorrow :)

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 22:05

Oh crap ness I didn't mean to spoil it for you! Don't read my post!!!

wilmabedrock · 26/09/2014 22:36

I think Chloe Jasmine is awful. She was on that modelling show The Face. Super annoying.

My hips hurt so much.

Leela5 · 26/09/2014 22:58

Can you have a bath to see if it would help? Or a pregnancy massage might help?

Nessalina · 26/09/2014 23:09

lol, it's ok, it was a spoiler that undid itself!! I think she's a bit pants. But the girl she swapped back out was a bit 'meh' anyway.

Nessalina · 26/09/2014 23:09

Oh Wil that's rubbish Confused I find baths are all well and good until you try and fail to to get out of them!

cookielove · 26/09/2014 23:39

Thank you all for making me feel better ;)

Eli is doing well, he is a total piggy and is putting on loads of weight. He is struggling to sleep at the moment on his own so I have just set up the next to me crib and ge is mow heavy enough for a sleeping bag! Fx he does better tonight !

KatoPotato · 27/09/2014 00:01

Sleep? Pah! That's for wimps! Overrated IMO!

ZylaB · 27/09/2014 06:43

Is everyone going to use sleeping bags? Are they good?

wilmabedrock · 27/09/2014 07:05

I think they're brilliant zyla, especially for winter as you don't have to worry about them kicking covers off. Also no smothering risk as long as you wait until they are the correct size.

Haha kato, is it all coming back to you?

I would like a pg massage but tbh I really need someone who will massage my bum and I'm not sure that's appropriate...

Leela5 · 27/09/2014 07:25

Bum massage? Will mr wil not do that?

Hate to be voice of doom and gloom but I think my positive thoughts of yesterday are to no avail. My hcg is dropping daily. I've just done digi with indicator. A few weeks ago it said pregnant 3+. Yesterday I got 2-3 weeks. Today 1-2 weeks.

Symptoms are gone completely - not even if I squeeze boobs hard now.

I'd rather not carry on with illusion that I'm still going to have a baby and just admit to myself I'm not.

laurenamium · 27/09/2014 07:29

Yes I will be using sleeping bags too Smile what do people do to cover babies arms when they're in them though? I remember DD had little cold arms one night and struggling in my sleep deprived head to work out what to do! She was a December baby though and this one will be an April one so there shouldn't be as much of a problem!

cookielove · 27/09/2014 07:32

Oh la I'm sorry to hear that :( I have been there so know what you're feeling like (really really sad) if this is a mc or mmc please remember that you will be super fertile and lots of people get pregnant soon after. E.g me we mmc in Sept, then bfp in January. Hugs Flowers

Sleeping bags are the best in my humble opinion! Ds is kept all nice and snuggly!

Leela5 · 27/09/2014 07:36

Do you think I can ask them to do hcg test earlier? I've now got to wait two weeks for scan to tell me what I already know Hmm

wilmabedrock · 27/09/2014 07:38

I just put her in something long sleeved Lauren?

Oh La, I don't know what to say. Other than maybe stop doing the tests. It's just so awful to be in limbo - I think you're right that it's better to know either way. I tend to find your gut instinct is usually right in these matters. You are being massively strong through this, full of admiration for you Thanks .

wilmabedrock · 27/09/2014 07:40

If that will give a definitive answer then I would ask them la. If they're going to say 'well it could mean x,y,z, let's wait for the scan', then it may be more frustrating. Not sure how it works.

couldbeanyone · 27/09/2014 07:48

Sorry la nothing I can say to help. Perhaps stop doing tests though as that may just make you feel worse?

Re sleeping bags they are a great invention. Don't buy new if you can help it there are alway tons on eBay, I have a nice collection costing from between nothing (hand me downs) and £5!
