Well despite all the goings on on my "oh sh*t" thread I know I'm not going to be terminating. So I figured I may as well start a club for June 2007! Don't suppose there's many (if any) others yet - I'm not even quite 4 weeks yet, and my EDD will be 5th June!!

Sorry quick gatecrash, it's ShowOfHands from the May07 thread (incognito).

N&T- I had the same probs as you last week, no appointments so the GP sent me to A&E. They fast-tracked me straight to the EPU, took about 20mins. No point keeping me in A&E when I needed an EPU appointment. Everything was fine, saw a heartbeat and it put my mind at rest.

Would you consider going to A&E?

Fingers crossed for you.

Hi to all you other June-ers!

PS andi, I'm 9wks and have had no sickness!

Juicylucythe2nd · 11/10/2006 12:49

Hi, know so many of you on here and my due date is 29.05, so really it's likely to be a June baby, so if you don't mind I'll flit between May and June.

Congrats to all you ladies.

Now 7+1weeks and ms has kicked in. Didn't get this far last time, so seeing this as a positive sign (in a strange masochistic (sp) way )

Had scan at 6weeks which showed a heartbeat and have another at 9 weeks. My EPU rocks. Just hoping I don't blub again next time .

Juicylucythe2nd · 11/10/2006 12:52

N&T&B - I would go to your EPU and see if you can get them to call your GP from there. He can fax over a referral straight away and they'll scan you. Definately worth a go.

Hope everything is ok. xx

Hello! I'm new to Mumsnet (even though I have been a Mum for the last 3.5 years!). Just found out that I am pregnant again(yippee) and am due the 13th June. Jeez, that sounds like years away.
The pregnancy already feels different. I have had a massive back ache - might be something to do with me picking up my daughter. Has anyone else experienced this? I can barely stand up straight sometimes!! Really feeling my 36 years!!

trace2 · 11/10/2006 14:12

rubyroo · 11/10/2006 15:15

FreakyFloss · 11/10/2006 18:11

Yes it is me - hello QoQ - congratulations!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 11/10/2006 18:32

ooo well HUGE congratulations then! Didn't think I'd find one of my regular fellow debaters in the same antenatal club as myself . Now we can happily debate pregnancy stuff - like whether or not I should have succumbed to my craving to have a brie and grape baguette (or 2 [blush}) this afternoon or not . I'm 6+1 and can't believe it's been 2 1/2 weeks since the thread when I didn't know what was going to happen!

OP posts:
FreakyFloss · 12/10/2006 08:31

LOL QoQ. i'm worrying as i just don't feel preggers. I know it is such early days (4 weeks) and the hcg hormone hasn't got to full power yet - I think it all seems to have come a little too easily IYSWIM (1ST month of TTC an very wanted). I suppose the next 2-4 weeks are the most crucial. How much would we all like a fast forward button?!! Sorry QoQ, (fingers crossed for me at least!) you could have another 8 months of listening to me whinging!!

Juicylucythe2nd · 12/10/2006 09:17

N&T&B - how did you get on with your GP / Hosp / EPU??

trace2 · 12/10/2006 10:42

n&T WHERE ARE YOU? ARE YOU OK?

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 12/10/2006 12:58

Floss I know what you mean - for the last two weeks I've not really felt pg - I think especially as it was most definitley unplanned - infact for the first week after I found out I was convinced that AF was going to turn up a week late due to the morning after pill (one of it's possibly side effects!). Then I had a week of the normal mild cramping pains - along with me dashing to the loo and checking with alarming frequency.

Then in the last few days the nausea has set in, I feel sick a lot of the time, which is helped if I eat something (unfortunately at the moment it's most definitely Brie and Grape Baguettes ) - but then a little while after I feel sick (from eating) and I seem to be getting indigestion about 2-3hrs after eating!!!

I've also started gagging when chopping onions (marvelous when you cook from scratch and most meals involve onioins LOL). I can't believe I'm now 6+2 - I've got a hectic couple of days - and then I'll be 7 weeks !

I know what you mean about it all coming too easily - DS1 was first month of trying (and very much wanted - but not expected that quickly). DS2 also very much wanted, and didn't even try - and this one.....well very much wanted from the start with me, and now also by DH thankfully, but again without trying.

I had 2 almost trouble free pg's with the boys and a big part of me thinks I can't possibly be that lucky three times.........can I???? I know so many people that have had a least one M/C I can't help wondering if it'll be me this time [frown].

I don't mind having a few months of you whinging..........mind you it'll turn into years as our DB's get to similar 'life' stages at similar times

Hayls · 12/10/2006 13:34

hays just asked you to join me on other thread, welcome

Hayls · 12/10/2006 13:51

Hi Trace, great news and I am really pleased for you. I don't normally change my name for anything but I just knew i couldn't say anything until I had spoken to dh!

trace2 · 12/10/2006 13:53

lol i was watching until you did, congrats so pleased for you

Daisybump · 12/10/2006 13:55

Hi Ladies...not had a chance to log on since Monday and all your words of support are very encouraging. Sounds like there's a lot going on out there. Trying not to get too bogged down in the "What if's" at the moment and enjoy the feeling of being pg.
Trace2, thanks for your words of support....but can anyone enlighten me on the whole temperature thing?
N&T&B, hope all is well. Let us know.
FreakyFloss...I'm due 18 June too. Congrats and good luck.
sticky stuff to all!!

trace2 · 12/10/2006 14:01

hi Daisybump was wondering where you were?

a lot of us did our temp when trying to concive,
but some carried on even after getting bfp, and then if it went down a little was worried, where it can go down even when pg, so i would say dont temp causes more stress

lilKel · 12/10/2006 17:17

Hi everyone - I seem to either feel too ill to check the thread or when I do nobody else is logged on - just wanted to say it's great to see so many still here. I'm trying very hard with the PMA too. Feeling so crap is just a good sign, keep telling myself...and really it's ok to eat Cheerios for bk, lunch, and dinner. Right?

lilKel · 12/10/2006 17:20

Oh and Caravan yes back hurts like hell. Esp in the mornings. I too have some daily lifting of DS which I'm sure isn't good. Little one is just 7 months (today!) but over 20lbs. Little chubster.

tigerpaws · 12/10/2006 20:51

hi everyone.
like LilKel I always seem to log on when no one else is on. Hope you are all doing ok, especially those of you having a worrying time. Thinking of you.
I am feeling sooo bloated today. I swear I'm getting a bigger waist already! How much earlier can I epect to show with no 2?
Has anyone else had to get bigger bras yet? I'm fast approaching the need to.
My dd has had tummy bug for last 2 days and has needed lots of cuddles etc. Now v knackered and hoping not to get bug.
