Well despite all the goings on on my "oh sh*t" thread I know I'm not going to be terminating. So I figured I may as well start a club for June 2007! Don't suppose there's many (if any) others yet - I'm not even quite 4 weeks yet, and my EDD will be 5th June!!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 26/09/2006 15:51

ok - I guess the due date sounds right from your LMP - but by my calculations that makes you 4+6 weeks - not 6........put then it could be my pregnancy brain playing tricks on me....

I used this website to work out my dates..........and it even got my date of conception right from giving it my LMP date

charlyp · 26/09/2006 15:58

ok am with you am 4 and 6, i.e in week 5 if you see what i mean, am probably just using a wrong way of counting, so on thursday I will be 5+1 which in my head is in the 6th week ... sorry must be confusing everyone, am definitely confusing myself!!!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 26/09/2006 16:00

ahhh - I'm with you!!! Yes at the moment you're 4 weeks and 6 days - so tomorrow (I think it is?) you're be 5 weeks....... and tomorrow I've been in my 5th week - but 4 +1

charleymouse · 26/09/2006 16:03

I think it is the date of your last period but coulpled with your cycle length so you guys might just have different cycle lengths.
I have worked out I am due 31 May and my LMP was 23 August. I am struggling a bit on cycle length though as only had 4 AF since they restarted in May and they have got progressively shorter. 32 days, 29 days and 27 days so have added them all together and divided by 3 to give average cycle length of 29.3 therefore due 31 May. If I change my cycle length to the longest ie 32 days then I would be due 3 June; if I change cycle length to 27 then due 29 May. Does this make sense?
That is why I am floating between May and June 2007 antenatal clubs as don't think will be sure until after dating scan.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 26/09/2006 16:07

that's true TM - but it still only makes her 4+ 6 [grink]

OP posts:
charlyp · 26/09/2006 16:17

well I am guessing I will be borderline may june, my mum said we were all early and both my isisters in laws forst kids were early and my dh was early so am betting will end up being May anyway but am just going to go with the flow and what the dr told me!! so 5 weeks tomorrow. will try and get it right in future

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 26/09/2006 16:19

no need to apologise charlyp - I didn't even know about all this 5+2, 12+6 stuff until I was pg with DS2 !

OP posts:
charleymouse · 26/09/2006 16:20

Yes HRH spot on.
Charleyp I am in the same boat as you LMP 23 August but not sure when actually due. I think I will be 5 weeks tomorrow so at the start of week 6. If you think I am currently 36 I am in my 37 year. But I know what you mean about calculating all this out it is so confusing I think it is easier to refer to weeks and days rather than confuse things about which week that is so I am currently 4 weeks 6 days. So tomorrow I will be 5 weeks and Thursday 5+1 (5 weeks + 1 day) Will somone let me know if I have this all wrong please.
All this math coupled with pregnancy brain is not good for you I'm sure.

charlyp · 26/09/2006 16:35

CM - makes sense to me.

Its tricky - when I am reading about stuff and it says 'in week 5 you can epect x,y and z' I am assuming that means the 5th week (week 4 - week 5), so when I am looking at the book and it says in week six this is whats happening I am assuming thats the stuff that will be happening in the 6th week i.e from tomorrow (week 5)until the following wednesday (week 6)because looking on a calender thats the 6th week?

so when it says morning sickness is likely to start from week 6 is that this week coming - the sixth week? or next week - six weeks from 1st day LMP but beginning of 7th calender week?!! sorry if confusing everyone

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 26/09/2006 16:38

I've always took it to meant that morning sickness can start from 5 +7 (ie 6 +0) weeks......

OP posts:
charlyp · 26/09/2006 16:48

i guess i will just have to see when i start feeling nauseous (assuming i don't get lucky and don't get it)!!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 26/09/2006 17:00

I didn't really get any 'proper^ morning sickness with the DS's - although with both of them I had a nearly constantly runny nose and something like hayfever (never usually suffer). And LOADS of pleghm (sp) in my throat - which when I tried to cough it up used to make me gag ........I'm hoping my current runny nose is just a seasonal cold.......

I can't believe that there is a June 2007 thread already! Wow! I have just popped over from the March 2007 thread to wish you all the best. Summer babies are fantastic (I have an April 2005 one upstairs as we speak, so we got the whole summer to picnic in the sunshine last year!) I hope you all have happy, healthy pregnancies .

Congratulations!

LadyTophamHatt · 26/09/2006 19:00

Ohhhh it always freaks me out to see a new Due in XXX 2007 thread, I can't believe there a June one already.

It makes my PG whizz by.

Congratulations ladies, hope you all have a smooth and easy 9 months

alexh · 26/09/2006 21:39

Can I join? Just got a BFP - a couple of days less tha 4 weeks. EDD 7th June. No real symptoms yet save vague nasea/indigestion. One DS 15 months. Can't believe it! Have PCOS and had only been trying for 3 months. Think Metformin did the trick!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 26/09/2006 21:41

ooo congratulations alexh - come on in . Not many of us here yet as we're "early" testers and due at the start of the month. my EDD is 5th June, 4 weeks today.

QoQ - just caught up with your pregnancy threads and so glad things have worked out well for you. also feel my initial post may have come across as a bit tactless in light of things - sorry .

i'm definitely more nervous this time round - think i'll feel a bit more relaxed around the 13 week mark... i also keep remembering all the annoying little pregnancy-related things i had first time round and am hoping some of them don't recur (constant blocked up nose, snoring and sweaty armpits to name but a few).

hope everyone is well!
