Well despite all the goings on on my "oh sh*t" thread I know I'm not going to be terminating. So I figured I may as well start a club for June 2007! Don't suppose there's many (if any) others yet - I'm not even quite 4 weeks yet, and my EDD will be 5th June!!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
meglo · 12/10/2006 21:17

hello,
Can I join in? Just found out I am expecting number 3. Have a DD (5) and a DS (16 months)by my previous husband.(Long story - he left as soon as he was born - grrrrrr) This baby will be the first for new hubby! We are both over the moon but I am a little scared about 3 kids. I am living in the States at the moment and it is highly likely that the baby will be born over here. Healthcare is an absolute minefield and don't know where to start! Omigod omigod omigod!

NattyandThomasandBump · 12/10/2006 23:31

hi guys
finally got referral for tomorrow morning. a&e not an option for me as i have 6 month old with me till tomorrow and dont want to expose him to bugs (mrsa etc)

night all

MrsMcJnr · 13/10/2006 00:36

Couldn't help but sneak a peak on here, there are so many of my old friends on this thread - Trace, JL2, Rubyroo, Freakyfloss and N&T&B - so but so happy for you all at the same time . Hope you are ok N&T&B - everything crossed. x

Juicylucythe2nd · 13/10/2006 09:11

Hi MrsMJ - Really hoping you can join us soon. I'm supposed to be on the May thread, but I feel more at home here with all my ttc buddies and 2 girls from the over 30's thread should be joining soon, so I won't feel like such an old bag !!!

How is everyone today?

Really hoping N&T&B gets a good scan result today.

Juicylucythe2nd · 13/10/2006 09:19

HRHQueen - in touch with the indigestion. My ms is really mild (at the moment), mainly strange taste in mouth combined with small bouts of nausea / hunger / indigestion. Bit strange, but only thrown up twice in total so far.

Boobs are sore, but don't think I need a new bra is on the cards yet, but already a 32E, so hoping they won't start growing too much yet!!

FreakyFloss · 13/10/2006 10:15

Hi everyone. I have had a very small bleed so far this morning. I am trying very hard to stay calm about it as it was only a very slight pinkish tint on the toilet roll after wiping iyswim. I had the same with DS at probably exactly the same stage - took no action then for many reasons. CM is currently clear. If i have more i will go and see GP but if not i think i should just reat a bit today and hope for the best. If pregnancy continues i will pop to gp next week for bloods as i am A-, and need to check i have no antibodies.

Glad to hear you are feeling the same as me QOQ. Sickness is a good sign though isn't it? I went for about 15 wees yesterday and do feel nauseas in the car... Just have to wait won't we?

charlyp · 13/10/2006 10:17

had first really uncomfortable MS thhis morning, to date just had abit of indigestion and some mild nausea when hungry or in the evenings but this morning felt crap, woke up starving at 4 and had to have biscuits and milk, and then had to rush to get to work as woke up late and so couldn't eat when was really hungry and by the time i got to my desk with a sandwich felt really nauseous, feel abit better now eaten but am learning i really need to eat something whenever start to feel hungry rather than waiting as that seems to make it much worse for me .... all a learning curve I guess being a novice at this. At least have not actually been sick yet and 7+2 today.

N&T&B Hope all goes well today and hope everyine else is doing ok
JL2 - where is this over 30's thread - am one of those myself, seeking other first timers in their mid thirties to panic with

Juicylucythe2nd · 13/10/2006 10:23

Freakyfloss - I thought if you were Rhesus neg you were supposed to get injections right from the start with your second baby because of the antibodies? Not sure, but a friend who is also Rhesus neg, said you had more antibodies after the first baby, I think. I'm definately no expert.

I think a slight bleed should normally be nothing to worry about as about 1/3 of pg ladies bleed during pregnancy.

If you're worried call the GP / EPU and see what they say.

Juicylucythe2nd · 13/10/2006 10:25

charylp - theres one on the conception thread, but I think I'll start one over in the pregnancy section, so us old fogies can give each other some support.

FreakyFloss · 13/10/2006 10:27

Hi JL2, I didn't know that. I am off work sick atm with a broken hand so have to go to GP'S next week anyway i think. I will only be 5 and 4 by then (if i make it that far!) so still early days. I'm not sure if i have antibodies or not - blood test after ds said yes but could be due to anti d dose i had a few weeks prior.

CKMUM · 13/10/2006 10:28

Hi

I am feeling pretty rotten this time, suppose it soesn't help having two demanding toddlers running around having tantrums.
they are both breastfeeding still as much as i love breastfeeding I dont fancy feeding 3

Juicylucythe2nd · 13/10/2006 10:34

Charlyp. Hope this works:

Over 35 thread

Taichimum · 13/10/2006 11:39

Hi guys - Just joining the June thread, due 16th June. Also had small amount of bleeding here and there over last few days (sometimes pink sometimes brown) but nothing like a period and I feel really sick and hungry, so I think I am still in the game. I am also an old bird (34) and have one son (18 months)to keep me knackered all the time . He is cute though.

Cocobear · 13/10/2006 12:32

Also joining the June thread. Due June 11. I feel dead tired and sick, am bizarrely unable to work up an appetite for anything other than Chocolate Weetos. Which I'd only ever eaten once before, in the distant past. I ate five cashew nuts earlier this morning, and immediately wished I hadn't.

K1K2 · 13/10/2006 12:47

Hi Coco bear - I too nibbled too on some some chocolate wheetos this morning to curb the waves of nausea, plus my son insists on me removing them from the star wheetos they are mixed in with - he's decided he doesn't like them now- how annoying!! Anyway, congrats to all and it's nice to see some old aquaintances here...Anyway quick post and stats- I have probably claimed the "oldest Mum to be slot" for this thread,
(don't worry Juiceyluicy (due May thread), I've bumped you off!):

me- 42 (43 in 2 wks)
DH- 31
DS-3.5
6+6
EDD 3.06.07?

Cocobear · 13/10/2006 12:52

Well, if past experience is anything to go by, just another 8 weeks of this and then I'll be fine. Eight weeks just seems like a very long way away... And as I live in West Africa at the moment and grocery shipments are erratic, I'm afraid I'll eat out the country's entire stock of Weetos, and then what's going to happen??

FreakyFloss · 13/10/2006 13:51

I have booked a drs app today after all - had a little more old blood and DP wants me to go. Will see what they say.

NattyandThomasandBump · 13/10/2006 14:31

SIGHS

loks like all is ok with little one, no.1 that is. looks like i was expecting twins and that i may have lost one, which accounts for the bleeding. mum told me today she also lost a twin, my sister laura was suposed to be a twin.

so i am happy, but a little sad. there is no way finaces could stretch to 2 at the moment anyway so looking at it like that.

had really good news from my work today, they are letting me leave with FULL pay, i dont have to work the remaining 3 weeks of my leave. so i am now a stay at home mom... with the benifit of a childminder for the next 3 weeks as we have to pay her anyway. which means all the forms that need filling in and sending off, the housework, and the loft can all be sorted out before having tom full time. also easing myself back into full time chaos of full time tom!

so feeling happy today!

love to all'

xxxxx

N&T&B

lilKel · 13/10/2006 17:35

Grrrr I've missed you all again. Feeling a bit down today, just rampant ms and everything DH says is highly irritating, for no reason. GAHHHH why oh why can't I have a "blooming" pg??? Is it a myth or what?!?!?

Meglo - I'm American, maybe I can help you out? Do you have any kind of health insurance, for a start? Funny you say it's a minefield there, cuz I think it's a nightmare over here with the midwife-healthvisitor-gp-hospital thing but no one person being a normal, straight, pediatrician for you!

Will someone pls come and replace my stomach? x x x

Daisybump · 13/10/2006 18:05

N&T&B - Sorry you've had a hard time , but it's good to hear that you and one baby are OK. I've had 2 m/c so thoughts are with you. I envy your full time mum status....I'll be working till I pop!! DH job situation not looking good (our timing is impeccable) so I may not get much maternity leave at all!!?
I would like to keep up with everyone, but may not be too regular on this thread due to work etc etc. I'm still hanging in there and hoping for the best (six weeks seems to be my nemesis so only another week and a half to go...if I can make it past then, I think I'll relax a bit more.

Off for a girlie weekend (designated driver!!) so luck and sticky stuff to all

rubyroo · 13/10/2006 19:32

welcome cocobear am also due 11th june! west africa sounds a bit more exciting than north east derbyshire though!!
ok so 5+4 today and have started light brown bleed had this with dd so was kind of expecting it lasted til week 8 or 9 last time i think. oh well at least it means i'll get another early scan!
NattyandThomasandBump sorry to hear your news but glad you are ok and that pg is ok still.
i think i need to go on the oldies thread too but is it only for 1st timers? i think after 35 they count you as a geriatric mum don't they? how flattering!!

PizPizPiz · 13/10/2006 19:40

Oh please can I join, baby's due on 20th June. Please please please .

rubyroo · 13/10/2006 19:41

welome PizPizPiz room for all bfp's!!

PizPizPiz · 13/10/2006 19:48

You're so nice to me .

Well, I tested positive yesterday. I have a gorgeous 2y old dd (who's currently banging the door to go into her room to read books before bed time so I won't be long !) and already have a midwife's appt !
I'm the lucky one with no sickness, just very tired all the time. I'm also in the 'mature mums' thread.

Right, have to go now.

Cocobear · 13/10/2006 20:23

NattyandThomasandBump glad to hear you're all right, or at least reassured - what a tough start. I've had a few friends who lost a twin quite early - I wonder if it's not too unusual?

I'm too scared to have a scan. I feel so ill and hungry at the moment that if they told me it was twins on top, I think I'd pass out.

What I really want to eat right now is a Seven Layer Burrito from Taco Bell. There are no Taco Bells within several thousand miles. Meglo and LilKel, you must be near a Taco Bell, eh?
