Well despite all the goings on on my "oh sh*t" thread I know I'm not going to be terminating. So I figured I may as well start a club for June 2007! Don't suppose there's many (if any) others yet - I'm not even quite 4 weeks yet, and my EDD will be 5th June!!

sitting in the office trying not to heave into the bin, noone knows whats up with me, my one friend at work who does know if out for the day so noone to cover for me, 9+2 - most nauseous I have felt yet, wish I could go and sit quietly somewhere next to a bucket! thanks god its friday, although hubby is off to LA for 12 days tomorrow so will be all on my lonesome, will love it for a couple of days - but 12 days is going to feel like a long time - specially if i am feeling rough

sputnik · 27/10/2006 10:50

Hi everyone and congratulations, can I join you? EDD 25 june.
No symptoms yet except loss of appetite and vivid dreams that wake me up at the crack of dawn. Anyone else get those?

Ludgie · 27/10/2006 11:17

Sputnik - I know what you mean, only mine are about mundane things like the Satsumas I bought yesterday, very prominant in last nights dream. Same due date, maybe it's the time of the pregnancy?!

sputnik · 27/10/2006 11:29

Hi Ludgie, let's see who gets there first!
I got the dreams all the way through last time. And missed them afterwards. Satsumas are probably rich in folic acid, so maybe your body is sending you a subliminal message. Will let you know if I dream tonight about the clementines I bought today.

Ludgie · 27/10/2006 11:45

Who said life is dull eh?!
Who knows if we keep this up we might even start dreaming about the whole of the green grocers shop!! May be I'm going to have a ginger baby and the orange theme is a warning. I am a red head after all.

sputnik · 27/10/2006 12:04

Don't know about fruit and veg, but last time round I dreamed I gave birth to kittens! (I didn't, in the end)
Just ate a clementine. Will have another.

sputnik · 27/10/2006 12:20

Maybe you've been reading too many of those pregnancy calendar things that say eg. "right now your baby is the size of an apple-pip/bean/satsuma/avocado/whatever".

Ludgie · 27/10/2006 13:44

You might have something there. Although I hope it doesn't influence me too much as I'm reading FHM (left in the bathroom by BP) and I might start to dream about Cameron Diaz. Nothing against the girl but it would blow my chances of a 3rd baby!

Hi again everyone,

To those who are sat at work feeling sick but can't talk about it....you have my sympathy and support! That happened with me last time and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

All I wanted to do was bawl down the phone to my DH about how cack I was feeling. But of course, you can't.

Sucking Polos/chewing gum and sipping water - so that all I had to face bringing up was minty flavoured water - was what got me through it last time. (Sorry if TMI!)

Got my scan date through - 11 Dec. Doc had already guessed I was PG when I told her!!

Florentine · 27/10/2006 18:14

Hi there. I posted a message a few days ago that I had a scan at 7 weeks on Tues and all was well - I so relieved that all was well but I also forgot to say I was so relieved also that there was only one embryo - I have been having vivid dreams about having triplets! following a documentary I saw about some poor couple who had 3 kids and went on to have a 4th and final child and then discovered it was triplets!!

Been having the most enormous craving for maltesers - which is not good given that I need to lose a few pounds. With my 1st pregnancy I made the mistake of eating naughty things I wouldn't have done normally and have found the weight hard to shift ever since so am determined not to go down that route this time - though I have been craving evil things like pizzas, white bread etc.

I don't know if it is TMI for you all - but when I saw doc to tell him about this pregnancy - I said I was anxious about miscarrying as had one in July and he said best to avoid sex. So my poor DH is having to do without til 12 week scan. It is fine with me as right now it is the last thing I feel like when get to bed - my DH not too pleased though!

bumperlicious · 27/10/2006 18:59

Hi all

How is everyone? The nausea is just kicking in for me (6+4wks) though it's weird in that sometimes I can't tell whether I'm feeling sick or just hungry...fortunately I can still eat healthy things. I'm paranoid about all the weight that I'm going to put on, epecially since I've given up kung-fu coz I'm just feeling so knackered, and DH is trying to forbid me from cycling to work, I do yoga but sometimes my tummy just hurts too much to do all that stretching - I'm gonna end up a heffer!

On the upside the nesting has set in, last night I cleaned the bathroom sink, scrubbing it with a toothbrush, and scrubbed the loo - normally I'm a complete house slut so I'm going to make the most of this new found domestication! Hope you guys are all still doing ok

Hello,

May I join the thread? Found out today that I'm expecting, EDD 29/6/07.

I had a m/c 2 months ago so we are a bit anxious but want to celebrate too.

We already have a DD aged 22months.

I swear I've started to expland already . I'm only 6+4, tell me it's not true . I don't remember growing a tummy that early for my 1st pg. Lack of exercise surely ... Apart from that, I'm still knackered.

sputnik · 30/10/2006 08:26

This thread is getting too long for some people to load so how about we all move to the new thread here

My tummy is expanding too, despite having lost weight, and I'm a week behind you PPP. Probably my abs never recovered from my 1st pg
