Well despite all the goings on on my "oh sh*t" thread I know I'm not going to be terminating. So I figured I may as well start a club for June 2007! Don't suppose there's many (if any) others yet - I'm not even quite 4 weeks yet, and my EDD will be 5th June!!

hi all and hope everyone is doing ok. have ahd a long week last week and long weekend leaving me feeling really tired and drained, no other real symptoms, some mild nausea but I used to suffer from bouts of IBS and is not as bad as that was, also have very variable appetite, definitely not so ungry as normal, have cramps on and off sometimes quite bad and feel so much like pms it freaks me out and stuffy nose and sneezing - don;t know if its from a cold I might have picked up or apparently preganacy can make your allergies worse than normal and I get hayfever and have an allergy with cats so maybe its something like that? anyone know anything about that?

must go to bed early and try and get a decent nights sleep - except peeing in the night keeps me awake.
otherwise still keeping it to our very closest for the timebeing

NattyandThomasandBump · 01/10/2006 20:46

ok if i sneak in?

Florentine · 02/10/2006 09:52

Hi ladies
I found out yesterday that I was pregnant and am so thrilled. (especially as I had miscarriage in July - really praying this one sticks). Due 12 June. Just been to the doctor to get the ball rolling - and she just stressed how incredibly early it is and stressed the likelihood of miscarriaging. Thats positive!
Feeling absolutely fine so far. Only symptoms are feeling tired in the evening and waking up early - same as I had with my 1st pregnancy - my DD is now just 1.
Congratulations to you all.

comebacksummer · 02/10/2006 10:44

Congratulations to everyone else who has found out that they are preggers recently- had two positive tests after several months of no luck ( which is odd as I conceived my two dds first month) this weekend so am absolutely thrilled- although my darling sister has just announced that she got engaged yesterday and plans a summer wedding next year!! As I have a due date of 7th June do I tell her soon? I'm worried that this will look like I'm raining on her parade...but I can't risk her planning everything for june as she wants my dds to be bridesmaids and obviously we will want to be there... advice please!!
I too don't really feel pregnant yet b ut noi sickness with dds, just intense tiredness and as I'm always knackered with a 2 and 4 year old anyway I won't notice the difference!

comebacksummer · 02/10/2006 10:45

by the way, congratulations trace2- is it definite? I read on the trying to conceive thread that you had a faint positive.. hope heartiest congrats are in order!! ( and to everyone else too..)

buffythenappyslayer · 02/10/2006 11:38

hi everyone!

hows everybody feeling?ive come here for a moan!im feeling sooooo sick, sore boobs (and bf dd isnt helping!) want to cry my eyes out when dh talks to me (even though hes not saying anything wrong,i feel like hes being horrible to me!!stupid i know!!)

dont remember feeling this bad with any of my others, was sick all the way through with all of them, but i dont remember the sickness starting this early!

reality has finally hit me that i am actually pg,and i think im starting to panic!!dd has cf so i cant stop thinking about all the 'what ifs'.

anyway, just wanted to say that im feeling very weepy and sick!dh says its a good sign that this ones a sticky one!!just wish i didnt feel so crappy!!!

alexh · 02/10/2006 11:46

I'm jealous buffy - depserate to start feeling iller as will be happier when I do. Still paranoid about having a missed m/c.

buffythenappyslayer · 02/10/2006 11:50

i know what you mean alex.i was hoping to start feeling sick early, just for reassurance, now ive got it,i hate it!!

i had mc in april,i was 9 weeks,so im not going to relax until i go for a scan and find that everythings ok.

also dd3 was twins, but one died at 12 weeks,so thats another thing worrying me.

im sure you'll start feeling queasy soon alex!

alexh · 02/10/2006 12:33

I know I'm being paranoid but can't help comparing to this time in my last pregnancy when I waw already feeling sick (5 weeks) and looked bloody dreadful. Feel Ok now if a little tired......

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 02/10/2006 13:06

alexh - you're not the only paranoid one - I'm strangely completely paranoid this time round. I've no real reason to - I've had 2 pg's before this one, both almost 'perfect' pgs - resulting in 2 perfect babies.

NattyandThomasandBump · 02/10/2006 14:22

oh trace i am so happy for u... more details! yay more graduates from positive threads! yay yay yay it you me and andi against the world!!!

lilKel · 02/10/2006 21:13

Comeback - I'd tell your sister ASAP but make it clear that you're just warning her, not that you want to dominate her plans. Maybe she has an alternative timeframe in mind? Get her while she's still basking in the glory of a fresh engagement :-)

Florentine - I have to say, UK doctors are just the worst when it comes to pg (sorry for bias, I'm American with a German DH!). You have got to keep a positive frame of mind about this. Be realistic, but don't let them destroy the beautiful thing happening with negative thoughts ... okay I should take my own advice cause I'm scared sh*tless that this one won't stick...

NattyandThomasandBump · 02/10/2006 21:26
