Well despite all the goings on on my "oh sh*t" thread I know I'm not going to be terminating. So I figured I may as well start a club for June 2007! Don't suppose there's many (if any) others yet - I'm not even quite 4 weeks yet, and my EDD will be 5th June!!

OP posts:

lilkel- yes, she has now announced that her wedding date will be august 11th, which will be fine as hopefully my ddate is the 7th june so pleanty of time to recover- ho ho. nice though, i expect a screming 8 week old is just what she envisages for her wedding.. oh dear!!
Congrats to everyone on the thread.. although you're all worrying me now as I have absolutely no pregnancy syptoms at all.. i keep thinking my boobs are getting bigger already but my (already huge) bras still fit so let's hope not.. went up to a 38 G last time.. really not funny at all, such a pain to get maternity bras and ended up after dd2 with boobs near my feet like " golf balls in sacks" as my delightful dh puts it...

comebacksummer · 05/10/2006 07:44

plenty, sorry.. terrible typing at this time of day

lilKel · 05/10/2006 09:56

Morning all... the old familiar seasick feeling is coming back again. Trying to be happy about it cuz it must mean the glue is working. However I'm jealous of you 'summer cause I'd give anything to do without it this time round. Last year it was so bad I even tried 'seasick bands' that you put on your wrists. Didn't work, surprise surprise.

On the hunt for double buggies - tossup I guess between Jane Powertwin Inc and Phil&Ted. Or McClaren twin but I think it's too wide for my hall. I've a tiny boot too so the car is also gonna have to go! (Mini - okay for one kid, but two is pushing it!!)

NattyandThomasandBump · 05/10/2006 10:05

know what u mean about double buggy, havent seen one that takes my fancy yet

alexh · 05/10/2006 10:22

comebacksummer I at 5+3 am feeling great. slightly sore boobs and sensitive nipples but that is it. At this stage of my last pregnancy I looked and felt ghastly. So am terribly worried that somehting is wrong.........

Am also thinking about "kit". Phil and ted is my current favourite.....

PeppaPigsMum · 06/10/2006 00:25

hi there! glad to see everyone doing well . i'm just having a breather before heading up to the doctors to get the ball rolling there - am in Australia (been here nearly a year now), so am going to spend the next few weeks finding out how the maternity care system works (also the reason i post at odd times and am never online when everyone else is...).

sickness is starting to come on properly, although still manageable, but some days i'm SOOO TIRED. sometimes it feels as though i can hardly lift my limbs up. i'm also still getting period-like pains - think things must still be settling down. glad to hear lots of other people have the same symptoms as me! N&T - hope all is OK with you?

anyway, off to add my details to the SATS thread. take care everyone...

lilKel · 06/10/2006 14:19

first official craving: chicken korma. Walked past about a thousand Indian restaurants on my way through town today, dying to stop and feast... alas had only 1 hour on the parking and too much to do. Maybe tonight! MMMmmmmm (sorry if this is grossing anyone out who is anti-korma today) x

Hi everyone, looks like I am also joining. Had faint positve last weekend, but couldn't quite believe it, so waited another few days, and definately BFP this time!
A bit sooner than expected - DD is only 4 months old! But after an initial panic - we are really excited to be having another baby - in fact I think I am even more excited this time than the last time (at least we won't have to worry about a big age gap!!)
EDD 7th June
Hadn't discovered MN last time round, so new to this, but it will b good to have people to chat to this time!

welcome kittykat77 congrats on your bfp!!! am in awe of you trying again so early it took me a year and half after dd to even contemplate there might in a distant future be a no2!!

Florentine · 06/10/2006 19:33

Hi ladies
I posted a message earlier this week about my BFP on Sunday. Yesterday and today I have had some spotting which I have been v.concerned about. When saw some yesterday was in tears on phone to husband convinced I was having another miscarriage (had one in July) - fortunately it is only spotting and does not seem to have got any heavier and I can only see if from time to time - very faint. So I am praying that it is implantation bleeding and nothing more sinister. I will be so gutted if I lose this baby. I have been having period cramps and feel like AF is going to start any moment and keep rushing to the loo. So sticky dust to me and to you all. If all goes well due 12 June.

tigerpaws · 06/10/2006 21:00

Florentine - it is so hard no to think negatively isn't it? But I'm sure a bit of +ve thinking goes a long way towards a happy pregnancy. Hope all is well with you. I'm sure if it is only really light spotting you are ok.
I'm 5+2 today and am feeling fairly ok really. I am waiting for more symptoms to kick in to reassure me. Though I came over really nauseous/hungry all at once while shopping today and was ready to push everyone out of my way en route to food hall at M&S!
Congrats to evryone who has joined since me (last week)

lilKel · 06/10/2006 21:25

Kitty - Sorta same boat as you - DS is almost 7mo. People think we're so crazy for going for it again so soon. I can't help it though, I see a little baby and just go all gooey inside. Even the new M&S kids ads make me want to reproduce. Sad, huh

Flo - Lots of glue and plenty of rest - I'm sure it will be fine though it must feel scary as hell. I had a spot of bleeding at 5 mo in my pg last year while on hol and thought the world went black. Keep us posted!

NattyandThomasandBump · 07/10/2006 12:08

i have been doing soooo much research into why my labour failed last time, and will be taking steps to ensure it does not happen this time.
tom was back to back, his face was tilited up insteaad of tucked in, and his head was tilted. all in all creating an almost impossible situation, which was made worse because i was lying in bed having had a epi! any other ladies on here had a c-section before? would be nice to have someone to chat with.
i must say i am feeling so much more positive this time, and i am enjoying the sickness (strange woman) cos i know everything will be fine, god willing.

how is everyone else? trace where u gone? andi havent heard from you in ages really worried hun is everything ok?

love to all, and lashings of stickydust.....

trace2 · 07/10/2006 17:13

Florentinehope you ok hun, i know just how you feel dare not move incase i m/c again

n&t, am here, just been very busy with jack, and been very tired not been able to sit on here long last few days. ihad a c-section with jack 4 years ago wish i had a normal delivery though, gp said on friday what am i thinking of doing this time round, and at the moment i have no idea, just want to get to 40 weeks ok.

how are you?

comebacksummer · 07/10/2006 18:52

hi all
lots of positive thoughts to those who are worried.. don't worry overmuch about bleeding- I bled very heavily with lots of pain at 20 weeks with dd2 and they cheerfully told me I was "probably miscarrying" and to sleep and see what happens ( as if- they put me on the ward with all the mums who had just given birth to "sleep".. I cried for 12 hours I think) and lo and behold, by the morning it had stoppped and a scan showed that I had just had a placental haemmorhage (spelling?) and lost part of it. Dd2 was born fine and dandy at full term.
Don't panic- I know it's easy to say but please try to think happy thoughts! I am feeling very neglected up here as noone sees me to start notes till 10 weeks apparently- very bizarre as everything started once you informed the gp in london.
oh well!! Just got to not think about it till then.
Congrats to everyone who's come on here since I was last on
xx
