Well despite all the goings on on my "oh sh*t" thread I know I'm not going to be terminating. So I figured I may as well start a club for June 2007! Don't suppose there's many (if any) others yet - I'm not even quite 4 weeks yet, and my EDD will be 5th June!!

Well done all of you, I'm another from the March thread. As you can tell we are chatty and nosey!
Blimey, a June thread already?

andi0411 · 27/09/2006 15:16

QOQ- my edd is 6th June according to one of those calculators and my LMP was 30th Aug..but I couldn't tell you exactly when i conceived too much ttc this month!!!

Thanks Kitty for the good luck!!!

alex- no real experience with FirstResp- but I think digital are meant to be more accurate- did you read the pos ones within the time frame etc? If so then a pos is a pos!!!!

charleymouse · 27/09/2006 15:47

Alex
I found clearblue digital useless, had two false negatives with them with DD and used first response and Tescos own and got a BFP. I thik the proportions of HCG they measure is different. I think I remmber reading on here somewhere that
the normal clearblue measures at 25 mIU/mL wheras the clearblue digital measures at 50 mIU/mL so the non digital clearblue is more sensitive.
Anyway just to make sure on Saturday I did normal Tescos own, faint but +; normal clearblue which did not soak up enough wee so redipped and then was faint +; then finished off with the first response which was definite visible BFP. I asked at the chemist what level of HCG the clearblue test measured as it was the on ly one available and I was reluctant after 2 false - previously but they don't say on the outside of the box. It is very frustrating. I think it is safe to assume from 2 BFP that you are in fact preggers.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 27/09/2006 19:27

ahh - now I did one clearblue normal, and 2 clearblue digitals - all 4 days before AF was due........and all showed up that I was pg ! Infact the digital ones took literally seconds from weeing on them to showing "pregnant" !

charlyp · 27/09/2006 20:47

hi ladies and welcome all new arrivals

i did 2 clearblue 4 days early bot very faint bfp, then 2 tescos own one day after af due and both much clearer bfp, although none really quick of dark lines.

5 weeks today!!!! getting my weeks right now thanks to QoQ and CM started getting tired at work today - full day workshop felt like an endurance rally.

my detials am 34, 1st time PG ever!! dh 34 too - both freaked out and getting to grips with the idea

NattyandThomasandBump · 27/09/2006 20:49

i found everything but the first responce was negative, but FResponce was like mega BFP... only got a very faint one on ebay tests.. which prompted FResponce test!

andi im so so so so (and so many SO's) pleased for u.. we can be baby buddies! oooohhhh and bump buddies!

lashings of the sticky stuff to all

Has anybody else LOST their appetite in early pregnancy? Usually eat a lot but am strangely unhungry....

charlyp · 28/09/2006 19:49

not lost but definitely less, and I get fuller quickly..

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 28/09/2006 19:51

I'm not feeling as hungry either (yet LOL).

Bought some Folic Acid and Pregnancy Vitamin pill things today - think I may need the latter as I'm not the best eater in the world even on a good day .

Think of me.......I've got 3 nights work in a row - starting tonight - suspect I'm going to be pretty tired.....

Hi All and congratulations!
I have just found out I'm pg with no 2. Due 6th June . Already have a 2y dd. Really excited this time around where as the 1st time it was mixed with a fear of the unknown. My worry now is how will i cope with pg symptoms with a toddler to chase around after too? Plenty of others manage it so hope I do too.
Already feeling really tired and hungrier than usual.
Didn't use mumsnet 1st time round either so looking forward to keeping in touch with you all on here. Catch up soon.

alexh · 29/09/2006 13:06

Am not sleeping, weeing a lot at night, and not hungry - but other wise no real symptoms. which really stresses me out as a friend of mine had two missed miscarriages last year and she felt very few symptoms. So am HOPING to start feeling sick soon. Boobs a little sore but its pretty marginal. anyone les feeling OK?

andi0411 · 29/09/2006 19:29

Hi Tigerpaws- congrats!!!!

Alexh- I have had 2 m/c and had full blown symptoms with them all so don't beat yourself up on that- i think each pg is diff.
I am still not hungry, I have quite sore boobs, twingey pains in stomach, no real sickness but I am soooooooooo tired. God this tiredness is killing me. Wouldn't have it any other way though.
Also I have gone off coffee- didn't have alot but liked a few cups in the morning- glad really as i wanted to stop drinking it for the baby.

NattyandThomasandBump · 30/09/2006 13:26

Hi all and big congratulations!

I tested positive yesterday with home test, but am really confused as to how far gone I am so am not sure if this is the right thread...

I have an 11 mth DS1 and my periods only returned in May this year. Since then I have only had two and they were not regular. The last one was in late July and we have been ttc during this time so I am not sure exactly when we conceived.... I have started to get morning sickness this week (which is why i did the test) and am tired and going to the loo alot. I am seeing doctor next week, and guess the scan will show exactly how many weeks I am, but am trying to work it out in the meantime....Does anyone have any ideas or advice???

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 30/09/2006 21:14

Started to get the first feelings off sickness now........couldn't eat my dinner tonight thought I'd throw up if I did - didn't have that with the DS's .

Told just about everyone there is too tell - couldn't keep my mouth shut for another 8 weeks LOL.

4+4 now !

tigerpaws · 30/09/2006 21:18

I had my first feeling of nausea today too while at work. i haven't told anyone yet so had to try and hide it which made me feel worse. A slice of toast and butter did the job and felt better after.
Just finished a 12.5 hour shift! Wondering how I will manage those hours as pg progresses? Only have to do it 1x week though.
Off to bed now as soooooooooooo tired!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 30/09/2006 21:19

tiger - I can relate totally to your work thing.

I do night shifts (9.45pm-7am) - and this week I've done (well doing - off in a few minutes) 3 nights in a row. Plus I've got the DS's (6 and nearly 3) to look after in the afternoons/evenings !

NattyandThomasandBump · 30/09/2006 22:31

gosh QofQ u busy mommy. they do say sickness is much worse with girls dont they? im 5+1 today.. and feeling excited still. hit me today that im going to have a baby in 9 months! silly i know but all i had been thinking was oh im pregnant thats nice....

PeppaPigsMum · 01/10/2006 11:01

hi there! pregnancy symptoms are definitely kicking in - i'm starting to feel slightly sick (hoping it doesn't turn into 9 month sickness like last time ) and very tired. had to come home and have a kip in the afternoon today while dp and dd stayed at a jazz festival we were at.

tigerpaws - know what you mean about coping with pg symptoms & a toddler. i guess you just do cos you've got to.

hope everyone is well...

aquablue · 01/10/2006 12:19

due 3 June, but don't feel pregnant at all - nada symptoms! have a 16mth old DS - and i did have yucky nausea, freequent peeing at night until about week 13. i am living in hope but i am sure the morning sickness will hit me soon. just can't remember when the morning sickness started with no.1...

lilKel · 01/10/2006 19:18

OMG, it's official, (TG for digital tests, I can't deal with blurry lines...) I'm only 4+0 weeks though, and have a 6.5 mo DS, so it will be hard work, but I am SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!
Anyone else having a panic about how to manage 2 little ones?? My first will be 16 months when the new one comes (pray that it sticks).
Also dreading the sickness. Had it for 30 of my 40 weeks last time (and two of those without, were because DS came 2 weeks early LOL!)
LilKel & Andrew & Bean (EDD 6/6/07)

andi0411 · 01/10/2006 19:31

Congrats Lilkel!!
No real sickness yet...just a loss of appetite ( very unusual for me !!!) Boobs very sore though- I have a 'do not touch ' attitude at the moment!!!
Hows everyone else???
