Well despite all the goings on on my "oh sh*t" thread I know I'm not going to be terminating. So I figured I may as well start a club for June 2007! Don't suppose there's many (if any) others yet - I'm not even quite 4 weeks yet, and my EDD will be 5th June!!

OP posts:

Juicylucythe2nd · 24/10/2006 08:47

Florentine - hope all goes well with your scan today.

Andi - Hope it went well yesterday. Worried we haven't heard from you. xx

Ludgie · 24/10/2006 09:37

Hi, seems that we're all in the same boat.

Am 26
DH 26
Due 25 June
This is my second time round and I am thrilled. I took us a while to get here this time and I was starting to get worried.

Would love to join this thread as it's lovely to know that I am in good company.

lottymadbird · 24/10/2006 09:51

Sadly I had a MC yesterday so will be signing off from this thread. Good luck to everyone with their little ones, my thoughts will be with you all.

Ludgie · 24/10/2006 09:57

I am so sorry lottymadbird.

Juicylucythe2nd · 24/10/2006 10:17

So sorry Lotty

thehairybabysmum · 24/10/2006 10:54

Really sorry to hear that lotty mb

lottymadbird · 24/10/2006 11:36

Thanks everyone. I'm really very lucky, I have a beautiful 14 month DS. Hopefully one day he'll have a little brother or sister. This time it was not meant to be.

charlyp · 24/10/2006 13:09

so sorry lotty, sounds like you are very sage about it, I am trying to take a what will be will be approach for the timebeing but am thinking of you.

smiling kiwi - glad its not just me - am also feeling a little better today - less 'oh god my carefree life is over' and more 'how exciting a new part of my life is about to start' - changes every day

hope all goes well with scans for Flo and Andi0411, fingers and toes crossed

Daisybump · 24/10/2006 13:56

Lotty, I am so so very sorry. I've been there twice so know how you must be feeling. It didn't really sink in with me till a good few days later. There's lots of support out there if you need to talk it over. Take things easy and take as much time as you need. Don't feel pressured into 'getting back to normal' and rage, rant, scream and kick all you like...it helped me get a bit of perspective, but I did break a dining room chair .

I hope things go well for you in the future.

MagicGenie · 24/10/2006 14:24

Afternoon all, can I join in?!

EDD 24/06/07 here, so currently 5+2. Sore boobs, tired, occasional passing 'weirdness'....no sickness yet.

Have 1 DS - was sick as a parrot from 6 weeks when pg with him, so I may just have until Sunday til all that hits again (hope not though!)

Sorry to read some people have had to sign off this thread; hope you're all OK.

Florentine, how did your scan go? Fingers crossed all's well.

thehairybabysmum · 24/10/2006 14:27

Hello ladies...just had what i would describe as bloody discharge...no exp of owt like this previously, what do i do (apart from panic obs)...do i need to ring docs or just ride it out and see what happens, no pains or anything??

Am crapping myself now

Ludgie · 24/10/2006 14:51

Have never really been there either but I would phone the dr's and get it checked out. Just for reassurance really. I'm sure it'll all be fine. Thinking of you

thehairybabysmum · 24/10/2006 14:54

Thanks...think im going to finish work early and ring...cant call from here as is an open plan office. Cant concentrate on work anyway have just descended into a blind panic.

PocketTasha · 24/10/2006 14:56

Hairybabysmum does your boss know? Can't you just leave now? if your not going to be able to concentrate... Thinking of you...

Juicylucythe2nd · 24/10/2006 14:56

tHBM - is it brown or red. How much?

If it's brown and slight it is very likely old blood - a few of us are experiencing this. If it continues / increases contact mw or EPU in a couple of days.

If it's red - ring someone today. You can ring the midwife, or you can ring the EPU and get a scan.

alexh · 24/10/2006 15:35

Haven't posted for abit - although have been reading But wanted to say I have had some brownish discharge (last week) which wnet on for a couple of days. Decided to ride it out as have a scan booked on Monday (when will be 8+4). I am choosing not to worry about it as wasn't red and had no pain. Had something similar last time too.

Ingalls · 24/10/2006 15:49

Hi everyone, welcome to the new faces ! Symptoms gradually increasing here was sick yesterday and have felt rotten all day. Dd and i are having a duvet day and are still in our pj's - have ordered pizza for tea so feel really lazy but figure might as well rest when I'm able.

Sarahsausage on your behalf, what a nerve.

Flo and Andi0411, hope scans have gone well.

Lottymb, sorry to read yout news .
tHBM, second what JuicyL has said, no-one will mind seeing you even if it's nothing.

1becomes3 · 24/10/2006 16:35

Hi was bored so I started reading this thread I'm due in april with DTs.
CONGRATS ALL

alexh- ran into a thread from you on the multiples page, thought I would see how your doing, have you had the scan yet?
When I was 9to 10 weeks I had some strange brown discharge, went to the doc told me to do a test, I did it came back negative then she packed me off to the hospital all ready for an extraction, it wasn't until I was sent for the scan because they didn't know what was going on that I found out I was having 2 babies!

They said it was most probably a threatened mc or I had lost a 3rd baby. so fingers crossed for you sweetie just keep an eye on it make sure you go see the Dr to be sure. and keep us posted on the multiples "do you ever wonder" thread.

Florentine · 24/10/2006 17:44

Went to scan this pm and despite the bleeding the foetus was fine and I saw a little beating heart! Was SO relieved. Could not sleep last night with anxiety. So you can bleed lightly (3 weeks so far in my case) and it not mean miscarriage. Just got to make it for another 5 weeks til 12 weeks scan when I can then relax a little.

Ludgie · 24/10/2006 18:38

So glad everything went well Florentine. Can't wait for my first scan. Such a wonderful feeling! But I'm only just 5 weeks so I still have a bit of a wait.

Coriander73 · 24/10/2006 20:10

quick hijack...Trace..how are you getting on?

MagicGenie · 24/10/2006 22:33

Hi again - just thought I'd add...no exp of bleeding during pg myself but a friend has - caused by change in hormones and foetus attaching to the wall of the womb.

xx

alexh · 25/10/2006 09:04

1becomes3 - thanks for the thoughts. My scan is on Monday. So we will see then. But feel strangely calm

thehairybabysmum · 25/10/2006 09:07

Thanks everyone for your support...i went home yesterday, rang the docs for advice who said the same as all of you...try not to worry, v. common etc. She has booked me in for a scan on thurs am.

Things seem to have settled a bit since yesterday so feeling much better today. Think it was just the initial unexpectedness that sent me into a shock.

Florentine glad your scan went well and 1becomes3...congrats too on your double bundles!

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Ludgie · 25/10/2006 09:16

So glad, did think of you last night and it's good to know that all is well. Now you can relax again and get back to feeling sick at every smell that wafts under you nose (if you're anything like me!?)
