Well despite all the goings on on my "oh sh*t" thread I know I'm not going to be terminating. So I figured I may as well start a club for June 2007! Don't suppose there's many (if any) others yet - I'm not even quite 4 weeks yet, and my EDD will be 5th June!!

Natty, I seem to remember watching a programme about this. Apparently it's fairly common to lose one twin very early on. It used to be unnoticed before the age of scans. I'm glad to see you're staying positive.

FreakyFloss · 14/10/2006 08:28

Think its all over for me - bleeding got more and more yesterday, restless night with lots of cramping and now heavy bleeding today. Glad to hear your news nt&b - and good luck to everyone else. I am completely gutted.

CKMUM · 14/10/2006 09:11

oh no i am so sorry freakyfloss, are you going to get a scan done?

trace2 · 14/10/2006 10:28

welcome newbies, great most of us seen to been on over 35 too!,

n&t, just so glad yor babys ok, if you read earlier i put down how i lost a twin, jacks 4 now.

FreakyFloss sorry with what you going through, but please get checked out first, it may be nothing(((hugs)))

FreakyFloss · 14/10/2006 10:34

They don't scan in my area before 6 weeks, which would have been a week monday. I don't feel pregnant anymore - boobs no longer sore etc. Sure it is gone. Gp advised testing in a week to see but i know what it will say. DP keeps arguing with me about it - you'd have think he'd have learnt by now i am always right!

trace2 · 14/10/2006 10:42

oh floss so sorry, but can you go to a&e? it would kill me waiting to see, and can i saw when i mc/ in june, i still had symptons foe a week, so it may be you thinking you have none

FreakyFloss · 14/10/2006 10:48

Thing is trace that even if embroyo still there i would only have to go back in two weeks to check for heartbeat at this stage. so still waiting iyswim. sorry to hear about your miscarrage - good to see you concieved quite quickly after though. congratulations.

trace2 · 14/10/2006 10:52

i know it sucks, i hope your ok((hugs))

PizPizPiz · 14/10/2006 11:10

oh floss, so sorry. I would make a b**dy scandal at my gp's if that happened to me. How can they let anyone living with such a doubt hanging over their head, it makes me mad.

Thanks for all your kind messages. Still bleeding but less so - finding the whole thing totally baffling - it starts an stops and generally seems to be trying to trick me . Will do as dr says and test on fri but i am certain of the answer.

Thank you - hoping to start feeling better today - trying to look on the bright side - an extra few months to get the bathroom done!

babymonster · 15/10/2006 19:30

Hi nattyandthomasandbump. Been reading the thread and ive been on the hoping for a positive in october thread too. Sorry to hear about your troubles over the week. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and panicking a bit. Had some slight bleeding yesterday and ended up in a&e. All my checks they did were fine and thankfully no more blood today and i'm booked in for an early scan on friday. just wanted someone to talk to about it. If anyone else has been through this would appreciate some advice, been laid down all weekend with my legs propped in the air.

Florentine · 15/10/2006 19:57

Hi ladies
I went to see GP on Thurs about my on and off spotting and see has referred me to EPU for an early scan - so I really hopes that happens early this week. I feel fairly positive and have a lot of the pregnancy symptoms etc - but it would be great to have complete reassurance. (I will be gutted if I have confirmation that all is not well). I have been doing pregnancy tests every few days to check I am still pregnant and they have all come back very positive - but not sure if that necessarily means all is well.
Anyway my thoughts are with those you have had bleeding and are concerned.

megandsoph · 15/10/2006 21:09

Floss so sorry sweetheart

megandsoph · 15/10/2006 21:19

Florentine hope everything is ok. If you are still getting strong positives I should imagine thats good as it mean you still have good amounts of HCG being produced. I truely hope so..

Just have to ask is anyone suffering from major mood swings by anychance? I booted my brother out of my car this afternoon because of a snidey comment he made to me, I don't know what came over me as I'm usually quite laid back but I just blew and it scared me.

Natty sorry about whats happened with you flower, lots of sticky stuff for your baby hun

andi0411 · 15/10/2006 23:37

Meg - i'm with you on the mood swings...gggrrrr is my fave sound at the mo.

Florentine- wishing you luck hon...
Got my scan a week tomorrow....just want a heart beat!!!!

megandsoph · 16/10/2006 09:55

I know andy it's not good is it lol

My mother has resorted to giving me the nick name "Larey Clarey" hehe

Cocobear · 16/10/2006 12:38

Is anyone else feeling wickedly ill? The nausea starts in the morning and keeps on going all day long, finally tailing off at about 7pm. But even then, I can't really eat. Plain water, the taste of toothpaste... everything makes me feel sick.

alexh · 16/10/2006 13:24

I am still feeling scarily fine. Hardly any nausea, not even that tired. Totally diffrent to last time. 2 weeks till my next scan but am terrified tyat something is wrong.
