Morning, ladies. Thank you for all your support and kind words - I'm still feeling a bit down, but I think the shock of it has worn off now. Trying to keep busy because I keep seeing it in my head as soon as I stop.
Have had my fingers crossed for Maths and her LO. Not sure whether it's exciting or scary that we're only halfway through October and babies are arriving!
I am now 35+5 and definitely noticed that I've suddenly slowed down. I'm still riding my horse once a week and doing all his care, but the last week or so it's definitely taken me longer than normal to get all the mucking out etc. done. I'm very lucky that some good friends have stepped in to help keep him fit while I'm cutting back my riding and one lady has very kindly offered to book time off work over my due date to look after him, which is a huge relief - it's quite expensive to pay someone to come in and do him, so even if she only does a couple of days it is a weight off my mind - finances are fairly tight for us already and was fretting a little over how I was going to afford his care.
No idea where Bean is positioned now. Breech at last appointment, but I'm fairly sure it's still moving around a lot like yours, keepon. I do seem to get a very hard, uncomfortable lump that stretches under my right ribs around my right side quite often, especially when I'm sitting at my desk at work, so I'm thinking Bean might be transverse on those occasions. Other times I'm getting hiccups in lower left abdomen and sometimes there's limbs moving very high up, in the space under my sternum between my lower ribs. Confusing!
Two weeks left at work now - I can't wait to finish. It's amazing how tired it makes me, even though I have an office job. It's a bit embarrassing to have to stop and breathe for a few seconds after going up just one flight of stairs, too...
Glad the pains eased off, hedgehog. BabyHog has a bit longer left to cook!
utopian, don't overdo it! I don't think I could manage that now - I'd probably either cry or shout a lot.
haven't, gentle stretching is the key! Have you tried pelvic tilts? Or try sitting on a birthing ball, making sure you keep your spine as one straight column so all your vertebrae are stacked, then rotating your hips in a slow circle. Sort of like hula hooping, but on a ball. Go one way for a few circles then the other - maybe have DP on standby to spot you though in case you overbalance!
moggle, that made me laugh! Hope you took pink's advice!
Hope you're doing ok too, Winter. Is all still quiet? Hope you're feeling well and less stressed now
catg, enjoy your NCT class and that end of work feeling! I am very envious.
Sitting at my desk at work yes sir, MN is purely for research purposes, sir and just patted my bump - little BabyTwig just stuck an arm out the top as though it wanted to hold hands
