I can't be the only one due in May 2015... So here goes, a shiny new thread.

I have to sneak in here to discuss all things pregnancy/baby related because this is a surprise DC5! Shhhh! Don't tell anyone!

Welcome, Haribo!

Oh no Three, shame you can't exercise if it makes you feel good. Is there something else you can do? Hope you get the antidepressants issue sorted - wonder why the GP wants to discuss it if they're supposed to be safe?

Managed to take DD swimming this morn so must be feeling bit better today. Then music class this afternoon so no time to rest! I find the evenings to be the worst closely followed by early morning (especially when a DD drags me out of bed at five!)

Would highly recommend ice lollies to anyone feeling sick esp with a nasty taste in your mouth!

NoRoomForALittleOne · 17/09/2014 13:07

Welcome to all the Newbies.

It struck me as quite a bizarre mix on the thread of those just getting their BFP and wanting the reassurance of symptoms whilst others would quite happily have a break from the nausea/vomiting/tiredness/headaches etc. Early pregnancy is horrible!

I had my booking in yesterday at 7+3. They wanted to get me in early so that they can get me to see the consultant ASAP. I'm being well looked after and they seem quite cautious in a good way. There's talk of an early induction as a possibility and definitely extra monitoring so hopefully no unexpected emergencies this time. I'm intrigued as to what the consultant will make of me...

Morning all - sorry to those of you who are battling the sickness I remember it well from the last two times - hot water with lemon and a spoonful of honey was my magic cure!

Off to the Docs today to see what they have to say about this Hand Foot and Mouth Drama - hope its ok - I worried myself last night and didn't sleep very well. I am a good at wprrying me!! Sad Hmm

CockBollocks · 17/09/2014 13:17

I know noroom I do feel a bit bad, but can't help it.

Especially as DP is not very sympathetic (he's not a sympathetic type person so I should be used to it)

Our conversation this morning went "I feel soooooo ill" (including Daily Mail sad face)

Him "ahhh, well not for much longer eh, see you later"

I really wanted to shout at him, I don't think you understand HOW ill I feel, like REALLY ill. Bloody men Angry

Threesoundslikealot · 17/09/2014 14:01

Haily, I'm on fluoxetine, which my last GP prescribed for me because he knew we were trying to conceive. This one wants to move me to sertraline if I don't come off. I'm not too fussed except there was a reason why the last one didn't go for sertraline and I'm damned if I can remember what it was.

I'm trying to walk as much as possible but it's not the same!

Weeks and weeks of permanent hangover is how I've described it myself in the past. Mostly in an effort to get adequate sympathy out of DH, who pays lip service but never really gets it. CockBollocks, I'm with you.

Hello, new people!

HariboBrenshnio · 17/09/2014 14:28

We've recently moved and i've not go round to registering with the docs, sounds like i need to get on with it. Don't want to miss my scan.

Sorry some of you are suffering with ms. Last pregnancy i had no symptoms until 6 weeks then felt sick until 12 weeks. Ice lollies helped a lot!

NoRoom that must feel good knowing their being so attentive.

BB01 we are also a fan of the 5am wake ups here apparently. Luckily DP is good at getting up with him before he goes to work.

Mitchey · 17/09/2014 15:18

Aahh, I need to get booked in ASAP as I'm High Risk, I'm type 1 diabetic and need monitoring every other week from the start. I had to go in BEFORE I was pregnant to make sure my HBac1 was low enought o even try to conceive! To make it even worse I' moving countries in about 10 weeks other wise I wouldn't be worried a know the 'procedure' but it'll all be different over there . . . PANIC Sad

silverpixie · 17/09/2014 16:22

The doctors have just called to book in my booking in appointment and they said it should be at week 9. I asked if it would just be a booking in appointment and they said yes. Have people had their first scanned booked in yet?

Mitchey · 17/09/2014 16:24

They'll book your scan at your booking in appointment.

silverpixie · 17/09/2014 16:31

Thanks Mitchey!

KittyVonCatsington · 17/09/2014 16:38

Hi and congratulations Haribo!

Glad they are taking care of you NoRoom

Let us know how you get on ThisisRock- Hopefully you will feel less worried later

Try not to panic Mitchy my friend who is also Type 1, moved to Australia when pregnant and she had a safe pregnancy with medical assistance. She was induced a week earlier than due date, but still had a natural birth which was what she wanted. She's now pregnant with her second!

Hi silver My first booking in appointment will be when I am 9 weeks too. The scan has already been booked by the GP though when I will be 12+4. As far as I have read, the midwives will be able to book you in for your scan quickly. I wouldn't worry xx

Am sleeping ever so much at the moment. When I'm awake, I just feel sick! For anyone who suffers with constipation, I've found that putting my feet up on toilet rolls when 'going' has really helped.
Really glamorous this pregnancy lark isn't it!? Grin

Mitchey · 17/09/2014 16:45

kittvancatsiton it IS my 2nd, lol

I was induced two weeks early with my son and had a 3 day snatural labout - OUCH! [cry]

Haily111 · 17/09/2014 16:52

Three i didn't get on well with fluoxetine. I started on citalopram, a few years later moved to fluoxetine, which mde me worse, then been on sertraline ever since. This was all pre pregnancy with my son. I think i am on the lowest dose for sertraline.

I have just got my booking appointment through and it is for 20/10. I will be 12 + 4 then . In the letter it says they will then book my scan in, surely this is too late ?? x

Sunshinesaz86 · 17/09/2014 17:06

hi ladies, i hope everyones doing ok? waves to all the newcomers!

Sorry to everyone who's struggling with tiredness MS etc, I am hoping when we all reach the 2nd trimester we will all feel a little normal and hopefully will have all seen out healthy beans by then too! FX!

I have my booking appointment on Friday ill be 5+6 so still quite early wont expect a scan for a few weeks after i guess.

I made a boo boo last night and ate spicy fajitas and was awake all night thinking i was going to be sick they just didnt sit right, from 2am to 7am my alarm didnt even need to go off, so work has been a struggle for me today! so early night on the cards! Also keep having my AF pains and having to take paracetamol which im not pleased about as i dont like taking things, hope they ease off soon, it does make me worried how much stretching is going on though as im already having to wear baggy tops and ordered a size larger work pants that i am already wearing!!! gulp!! i hope some of you other ladies are the same and experiencing ridiculous (bloating/weightgain) already?

KittyVonCatsington · 17/09/2014 17:17

Oooh, ouch Mitchey! No wonder you are worried. Hopefully doctors will help and treat you extra specially carefully like NoRoom. What's the medical care like where you are moving to?

When was your LMP Haily? It might be done from then. They can book scans in for that day if they have to.

Ooh, yes, fajitas! I didn't have spicy ones Sunshine but the smokey BBQ ones and it set my constipation pains off! Hate this changing my diet nonsense, Wink

Haily111 · 17/09/2014 17:19

Kitty it was 26/07 xx

KittyVonCatsington · 17/09/2014 17:22

Is there a number on the booking letter Haily? I'd ring them and just check. It does seem late to me but I know everywhere is different. At least it would put your mind at rest x

HariboBrenshnio · 17/09/2014 17:39

What vitamins are everyone taking? I used pregnacare last time, just sent DP to the shop for some. They're pretty expensive though! I might switch to just folic acid, any recommendations?

Haily111 · 17/09/2014 17:50

Thanks Kitty. Have just phoned and left a message, will see what they say tomoz.
I am using the pregnacare ones, think they were on offer in tescos, 3 for 2 lol x

Blondie87 · 17/09/2014 17:54

Wow a few days away from the thread and it's a hive of activity! Congratulations to all those who have recently got a BFP; wonderful feeling. Have to admit this week symptoms weren't as strong so poas yesterday for reassurance and and nice strong line so I felt much better!
Kitty thank you for he updated list! it's great of you to do that. I'm 5w3 days today and so far just felt a bit nauseous rather than been sick but I'm always hungry too. This online community is fab x

Blondie87 · 17/09/2014 17:55

Oh sunshinesaz86 I'm so bloated by work trousers are already tight!

KittyVonCatsington · 17/09/2014 17:57

I'm just taking Folic Acid and going super healthy now, with diet instead. Was on pregnacare TTC and during my MC at the start of the year and I didn't take too well to the massively high doses of various vitamins and minerals-lots of side effects for me. Just paranoid I think!

Justyouwaitandsee · 17/09/2014 18:04

I was taking basic Folic acid while ttc but bought the pregnacare supplements when I found out I was pregnant as I read that we should also start taking vit d and pregnacare have a combined FA and vit d tablet (which tastes quite nice). It also came with marine oil tablets but I read somewhere else that you shouldn't take those?!

Sunshinesaz86 · 17/09/2014 18:35

Kitty I usually go for the BBQ ones god knows what possessed me to get the spicy ones for a change! Won't be doing that again in a hurry! Shock

Glad I'm not the only one bloated either (I'm not revelling in your symptoms of bloatiness obviously blondie) I'm supposed to be keeping it quiet for another 6 weeks I'm going to struggle at this rate! Just glad winters on its way so jumpers and baggy tops are required! Grin glad u got another nice strong line too.

I'm also taking pregnecare after GP advising to take a vitamin supplement!

Catnap1 · 17/09/2014 18:50

I'd like to join too please. I'm due 13th May. This is my 3rd pregnancy in 6 months, I'm hoping it will be third time lucky.
I'm feeling very tired and nauseous along with being anxious because of miscarrying before. I'm booked in for a scan at 8 weeks, glad that I've got an early scan, 12 weeks seems so far away!
We aren't telling anyone this time so glad I can post on here to keep my sanity!
