I can't be the only one due in May 2015... So here goes, a shiny new thread.

I have to sneak in here to discuss all things pregnancy/baby related because this is a surprise DC5! Shhhh! Don't tell anyone!

Mitchey · 16/09/2014 15:37

Haha - thanks LinaDee! Grin

Mitchey · 16/09/2014 15:42

I've sat here for 20mins trying to work out who 'Kate' is! lol

She beat us to it this time, I was pregnant with my son a couple of months before she was with George Envy

BB01 · 16/09/2014 16:11

Turquoise, I've cried at way more ridiculous things than that this week!

KittyVonCatsington · 16/09/2014 16:18

Okay - think I have it right this time - let me know any inaccuracies and I'll correct them

Yes Yes to copious amounts of CM! For me it has been very creamy and some of the source of worry I have had - thinking it was bloody every time Blush Learning to live with it now! Now you come to mention it, I did randomly cry during a Don't Tell The Bride...hormones?

I also got home yesterday at thought at 5:30pm, I'd have a little lie down. Next minute, I awaken and its 10:10pm! Supposed I had better get used to this...

Hello! May I join? I am so thrilled and am longing to tell everyone but need to keep it secret with just me and DH at first. So wd love to share my glee online somehow!

Because wow the odds were against us! I am 43 - have one Dd age 2, so I started all this late! I also have a history of endo, so expected conception to take forever . Last time, astonishingly, conceived on the first month trying despite age and endo and everything. expected wdnt happen again - but it did! And again in the very first month! BFP! BFp bfps omg . Despite being old and withered! (Not that all 43 are old and withered but I feel I prob am ;)

But obviously we aren't counting chickens so are keeping it quiet and keeping fingers crossed. Just got result today - missed AF this morning and two clearblue said positive.

Am now cuddling my sleeping sweetheart dd and hoping will have sibling.

fififolle · 16/09/2014 16:41

I had my early scan today, according to mw/ lmp dates, I'm exactly 7 weeks today....but I know that I ovulated on CD 17, which makes me 6 + 4.
She found the scan using the conventional scan then also tried internally. Unfortunately it was too early to see the heart beat but she said to go back next week. She pointed out the sac and yolk and said that all looks good.
Anyone else feeling really tired? I'm shattered today.

LuxuryTrifle · 16/09/2014 16:42

... The booking people said EDD 27 May. Fingers crossed.

LuxuryTrifle · 16/09/2014 16:45

Fifi congrats on the positive scan. Must be super reassuring to see sac and yolk. Yes to tired - I am only 3 week plus 6 days and my first top off was sudden utter weariness at one week in. I remember it from last time too.

Turquoisetamborine · 16/09/2014 17:02

Congrats Luxurytrifle! How lucky first month.

Fifi that must have been lovely having a scan. And to get to go back next week as well!

I am so tired. I'm sleeping 12 hours at night then napping as long as I can on my days off too.

I'm also so hungry and obsessed with food! But I can't be bothered to cook as I'm so tired. I'm having bake in the bag salmon and stir fry tonight. Boring but healthy. I'm thinking about food all the time and have my next weeks meals planned out.

fififolle · 16/09/2014 17:05

Luxury I crossed posts with you! congratulations on your BFP, that's fantastic news. I bet you're smiling constantly!
It was very reassuring to see (one!) sac and yolk, can't wait to see the heart beat now.

fififolle · 16/09/2014 17:09

Thank you Turquioise, the sonographer was lovely and said that she won't charge me again next week.
I'm conscious of weight gain, I was weighed at my booking appt yesterday and had put a couple of pounds on. I'm trying to be super healthy but, like you, I can't stop thinking about food! I was proud of myself for doing a 3 1/2 mile walk this morning....but was the ravenous and had a tea cake in M&S which instantly cured my headache Blush.

Justyouwaitandsee · 16/09/2014 17:27

Congrats luxury and good news fifi

I am feeling so lazy. Feel pretty much constantly 'hungover' at the moment. Better when I eat but struggling to know what I fancy, especially when trying to organise something my DH will eat too. I have spent most of my time on the sofa since Saturday and go from not being able to stomach the thought of food to feeling sick and faint from hunger. I am also sleeping loads but still tired during the day and never feel refreshed when I wake up. Sad

Thisisrock · 16/09/2014 18:12

My eldest has hand foot and mouth and now I am in a tizz really really worried Sad Dr Google is vague but there seems there is a low risk that it might increase chance of miscarriage. Anyone know anything about this?????

ThreeBeesInTheHive · 16/09/2014 18:18

I'm exhausted and headachey. but might be caused by running around after two crazy toddlers, who also took it in turns to keep me up last night. honestly why do people have kids Grin Grin Grin

ThreeBeesInTheHive · 16/09/2014 18:20

sorry x post! I haven't got a clue Sad

HeyMicky · 16/09/2014 18:49

Welcome newbies! Congrats all round.

Thank for the list, Kitty. I'm on there twice, though; 10 May is correct Smile

silverpixie · 16/09/2014 18:59

So many pages to catch up on!
Congratulations to the new BFP's. I must say- it's very heartening to read posts from others who are finding it a big hard. I've been off work today coz I was so sick this morning. My whole body aches and I feel totally pants. I'm finding it really hard that only my husband knows and he's away so I'm basically feeling lonely and pants at home on my own. Every day I keep trying to think positively that Yey- another day I still seem to be pregnant. I hope it doesn't feel this bad for the whole time

BB01 · 16/09/2014 19:13

That's lovely, fifi!

Welcome to all the newbies Smile Smile

fififolle · 16/09/2014 19:26

Thank you BB01!
I don't know how you do it Threebees, I bet you'll be asleep before your head hits the pillow!
Silver I know the feeling! I was walking with a friend earlier (who doesn't know) and I was struggling to keep up a conversation for all the puffing and panting! You'll get to the 2nd trimester and suddenly feel 100 times better...and have a little bump to show for it too. Smile

KittyVonCatsington · 16/09/2014 19:40

Welcome Luxury!

Fifi So glad you got to see something today-how lovely you get to go back next week!

So sorry but I have no idea ThisisRock - def get some medical advice to put your mind at rest. Your poor eldest!

It does seem that the first few weeks are pretty rough going for a lot of us. Let's get through this together Grin

FreckleBee · 16/09/2014 20:09

Hi everyone, would you mind if I join in? This is my first baby, edd 14th May. I was so excited but that is now kind of being tainted by awful nausea. It's worse than I thought it would be! I don't mean to moan, I really am delighted to be expecting!
I wondered when others first saw the midwife, as in how many weeks pregnant? x

fififolle · 16/09/2014 20:14

Congratulations and welcome FreckleBee.
I saw the midwife for my first appointment on 5th Sept (approx 5 weeks) then had my booking appt yesterday (6-7 weeks).
They seem to want to see us early in this area to book scans on time.

FreckleBee · 16/09/2014 20:27

Thanks fififolle, I haven't heard anything form midwives yet but hoping to hear soon as seems like the 'next step' if you know what I mean

CostaLotta · 16/09/2014 20:42

Hi everyone can I join too? Got my BFP today, according to the app EDD is 18th May. I already have a DS who is 23 months. I'm a bit scared about doing it all again!!

Fluffeh · 16/09/2014 20:58

fertilityFTW it's me from April 13ers :).
I'm soo glad to see you here!

Thank you for updating the list Kitty.

Purple I am so sorry, I really hope your getting some rest and get the stickiest of beans soon xx.

Had all day sickness again today. Poor DD has been bundled up and down the stairs to the bathroom countless times and watched me be sick. I'm hoping she'll not remember it as she grows up. Right now she makes strange retching noises, points at me and giggles. I think she's assuming it's a game - we run upstairs I make lots of noise, hand wash and go back down.
Dp is being fab though and has cooked and cleaned when needed today.
