LinaDee · 03/09/2014 06:59

Morning everyone.

Feeling very nervous and anxious this morning as I don't have any symptoms. The only one I had so far that made me test was tender/tingly breasts.
I fell crazy for wanting to feel nauseous :-( anyone else got no symptoms. I think I am only 4w+5

honeysucklejasmine · 03/09/2014 07:07

I have none really either, except an absence of period and a dodgy bowel, which i often have anyway.

No sore boobs, no sickness, nothing.

honeysucklejasmine · 03/09/2014 07:08

My friend didn't get nausea at all in her whole pregnancy. Hope I'm that lucky!

LinaDee · 03/09/2014 07:27

I remember when I found out I was pregnant with my DD not feeling any different and only having some nausea around 9/10 weeks.
My last pregnancy ended in a MMC at 11 weeks and I had bad nausea up until 9 weeks when the baby stopped growing.
I know everything could be fine but I feel like I'm just waiting for it to happen again Hmm

lp2014 · 03/09/2014 07:36

Linadee- I don't have symptoms really either other than the bowels. Not feeling sick or anything like that. It must be so hard for you not to worry but try not to. A friend of mine had no symptom til 5 months xx

BHR2003 · 03/09/2014 08:12

BFP last Friday v early but I know the actually date this little one was conceived as only DTD once before I went on holiday without DH. EDD 8 may I think. DC no 3 for me with a huge gap, nearly 10 years, will be 42 when baby comes, scared but extremely excited....still can't believe it, can't wait to start scans etc. my eldest started secondary school today....I am in shock really didn't think I cld get pregnant again as had some quite invasive gynae surgery and only have one ovary, plus factor in my age, it a miracle....so happy.....jus hope no one puts a downer on it because of my age, I'm expecting a few comments from family, just because they are like that but will just grit my teeth and keep smiling.

Congrats to all the May mums to be.

Thefourcees · 03/09/2014 08:13

Congrats to the new BFPers, Thanks for updating the list Fifi.

got my 3+ on the cb digi this morning and my boobs have finally started getting heavy and sore at 5 weeks and 4 days, still no nausea though, it all goes so slow at the beginning, find I'm just waiting for booking in appointment and scan, just hope I get further than last time, I got to nearly 11 weeks but it had stopped growing at 5+5 which is tomorrow, but all the way up to 11 weeks I was so sick and my boobs hurt so even symptoms dont really reassure me,still nothing I can do except think positive thoughts Smile

CockBollocks · 03/09/2014 08:38

I have friends who started having babies at 40, so hopefully no one will be negative. Congratulations - I have a six year age gap between dc2 and this one!!!

piglet81 · 03/09/2014 08:56

Hello everyone, can I join you? We just found out on Monday night and I'm finding it hard to concentrate on anything else! This is our first so it's all very exciting and nerve-wracking too - trying not too get carried away as I know it's very early days. So far the only symptoms I'm having are sore boobs and tiredness. Off to see the GP tomorrow morning.

piglet81, DC#1, EDD 12 May ( online calculators)

Craftyrafty · 03/09/2014 10:08

I had no symptoms in the first trimester last time round, except for extreme tiredness. I'm not sure I'll be lucky this time round but so far nothing much apart from feeling more hungry than normal. So for those who may be worried, please don't be, lack of symptoms is normal too.

I have my first Dr's app on the 17th, seems like ages away, though I will only be around 6 weeks by then. I just can't wait for the first scan...so impatient...

I hope I can keep it quiet for now, I never really lost my belly fat from my first pregnancy and already my belly looks more rounded from the bloatedness and no doubt the speculation will begin. I have to try and be clever with what I wear I guess as I'd rather tell everyone once I know everything's fine. Though I've heard you show a lot sooner on subsequent pregnancies?

Threesoundslikealot · 03/09/2014 14:50

Hello, new people, and congratulations.

I know lots of women who had babies in their 40s, BHR, and it's all been fine.

I am utterly exhausted. I never had that much tiredness the other times; nausea was my thing. I am only 4+2 and was asleep two hours earlier than normal last night. I'm trying not to fall asleep at my desk now too. If I get nausea too, I will feel properly cross!

We've decided to go for a private scan at 7 weeks. I've never done it before but (fingers crossed) this is my last pregnancy and I think it would be nice to stress less. We're going away for a week after that, and we'll be seeing family we'd like to tell, so it seems like good timing. Obviously that's assuming it's not bad news...

bradders85 · 03/09/2014 16:14

Hi everyone, no real symptoms for me either up until last night......trapped wind!! I was in agony at about 1am this morning gripping onto the bathroom radiator! ha! so as a result I am tired today!! 5w4d today, I self referred to midwife last week via my doctors surgery but not heard anything from them yet. x

KittyVonCatsington · 03/09/2014 17:07

I haven't heard from my midwives either bradders. My surgery does "Shared Care" though so things like blood tests are done by the doctor and measuring, scan dates are done through the midwives. Therefore, I've already had my urine and blood tests. They checked for blood count, blood type, fasting glucose, rubella, HIV, syphallis and toxoplasmosis (I have cats!)

bradders85 · 03/09/2014 17:08

Thanks kitty, hopefully I will hear something soon!

Ameilius · 03/09/2014 18:46

So many in the group already! And so many posts - think how many posts/threads we'll have in 9months! Grin

Still no nausea although my colleagues' lunches were making my stomach turn earlier, think it was more to do with the strong smells tho. Very reassuring to know that others are also nausea-free!

Are many people getting early scans? I kinda want one but can't quite decide if the expense is worth it.. I live in Norway and they don't normal scan here until weeks 18-20! Don't think I can wait that long... (And I'd be getting so nervous that things weren't ok!)

I'm not sure how to update the EDD list but my EDD is probably near about the 3rd (super long and irregular cycles so hard to know for sure really..)

DragonsDontFly · 03/09/2014 19:14

Can I dip my toe in here? I got a super early bfp this morning, at 8dpo, which I think makes the due date around 19th/20th.

It will be my second baby, but after a miscarriage two months ago I am not getting too carried away yet.

BeanCalledPickle · 03/09/2014 19:22

Feeling rank whilst giving 15mo a bath. This situation is unlikely to improve!

We had early scan last time at 8 weeks. It was reassuring but only for about a day!

ElleyBear13 · 03/09/2014 19:28

Hello ladies can i please join this thread too? I'm about four weeks pregnant, due 11th may :D going for my first early bird appointment on sep.15th....so far feeling queasy, hot and sore boobs but thats it. This is my first baby and I'm so scared and excited. Im worried about miscarrying, im trying to take things slowly though :)

congratulations to all other may mums to be :)x

Justyouwaitandsee · 03/09/2014 20:15

Hey everyone, the nausea hit me today (5wks+2) and had to stop and be sick on my way to work. Sad Managed to hide it in the office though, drew on all the years of hangover experience Wink

honeysucklejasmine · 03/09/2014 23:29

Hi chaps. I feel like my boobs are bigger today. DH is not convinced but was happy to measure "by hand", very selflessly I'm sure. Hmm

Really hoping nausea misses me. I want time to go faster!

WutheringFrights · 04/09/2014 00:00

Evening! Can I join in too?!
I just got a very surprising BFP, we weren't TTC and are just in the process of buying a new house...with just the right number of bedrooms...until 30 minutes ago :-)
Due date for DC3 is 10th May, but doubt it'll be close to that as my other two were 15 days late (induced) and 10 days late.
Honeysucklejasmin, my DH always seems happy to oblige too!
