Werk ;(

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 27/09/2014 10:07

Oh, third trimester today, though! 27 weeks exactly

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 27/09/2014 17:43

Sorry for the spam today guys. Someone say something to drown me out!
If I suspect I've got, erm, an imbalance of bacteria, shall we say? Should I call the midwife for advice, or go to the sexual health walk in service? NHS website says definitely see a doctor in pregnancy. Usually I'd not be so TMI and just get those weird Frube things you squeeze up there Confused

Roonerspism · 27/09/2014 17:43

Beautiful name, taura.....

Been in bed all day. Every time I lift my head, I want to call asleep. Enforced bed rest makes you realise how tired you are. Back to bedlam tomorrow.

Listening to DH handling the kids on his own has amused me greatly.... Grin

How is everyone else's weekend?

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 27/09/2014 18:47

Peace, I'd say thats a Dr job so they can give you pregnancy specific drugs. xx

I am at my mums. DP and DM are eating chocolate and sweet stuff whilst I look on.... grumpy and nauseous on my metformin. :(

Lucy90 · 27/09/2014 20:37

Im working all weekend! And everyone in my house has a vomiting and diarrhoea bug so ive barricaded myself in the bedroom away from it all!

espa · 28/09/2014 11:12

So last night just before 1am I woke up with a really bad cramp in my tummy. Very painful. Got up to pee and could barely straighten up, then just as was about to go back to bed got another one and realised I was probably going to be sick. I then spent 10 mins being very very sick while continuing to get these pains intermittently for another half hour/45 mins. Sad Had a bit of (tmi - sorry!) diarrhoea too but eventually got back to sleep about half 2. Shattered today. Wondering if t was judt a bit of food poisoning (was at a bbq yesterday) or if it's anything more sinister than I should phone about to be sure. The pain was horrific, if contractions are anything like that I'm going to be in trouble!

Hugmonster82 · 28/09/2014 11:51

How are you feeling today Espa? Does sound to me like food poisoning. If you're still getting pains today then I'd call just to be sure. I'm a worrier though. Hope you feel better soon!

espa · 28/09/2014 12:22

Still feel sicky but hard to say if it's related or just my morning sickness which is back anyway. Tummy feels okay but naturally feeling pretty tired. Think a quiet day on sofa is in order but having a bath just now to relax. Have felt baby toot wriggling this morning so assuming all is okay there.

It was pretty scary though, that kind of thing is bad enough without being pregnant and having an extra person to worry about!

SassehMonsta · 28/09/2014 16:20

booo, get well soon people!

been busy, with appointments etc and going out a lot! out with DH work Friday night, then yesterday out to nct sale, then my parents, then to a friends for dinner. Today, out with dog, home via a friends, and now resting before going bowling with the inlaws. Phew! Tomorrow looks like CAB meeting at 11, then picking kids up for my mum in afternoon. Zzzzz

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 28/09/2014 17:12

This thread fell off threads I'm on so I'm just marking my place again.

Has anyone had anxiety issues while pregnant? I'm considering seeing the dr about it but I'm not sure what they can actually do?

It's not anxiety about the pregnancy, I'm still quite rational about that at the moment Grin it's about ds. I caught myself not wanting him to go somewhere with his dad the other day and it was a bit of a wake up call. He's his dad and my dh ffs and yet I was going through an internal "what if" panicky moment at the thought of it. That's not normal. Sad I thought I had all the depression/anxiety issues sorted from after my mum died.

LotsaTuddles · 28/09/2014 17:14

My contractions before my waters broke with DS were the same as Braxton hicks too, so I just thought it was normal, we went to my mum's in London and to a christening in Wales while I was in labour, just didn't realise Shock

RunByFruiting · 28/09/2014 18:01

Howe you feeling espa? I had food poisoning a month after having ds2, worse than his labour.

rooners, hope you're enjoying the enforced rest.

How's the foof feeling peace?

Good to see we're all making the most of our child/extra child free time by having various minor ailments!
Went to church on my stick for the first time today, got lots of sympathy & didn't have to stand through the service....result!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 28/09/2014 18:08

Thank you for asking, Fruiting! It doesn't itch or anything, it just smells erm, metallic? TMITMITMITMI

LotsaTuddles · 28/09/2014 18:15

My mw said it's fine to use the canestan cream, she's pre warned me (because I'm spending a lot of time on antibiotics) the drink those actimel type drinks

CatFaceCrayola · 28/09/2014 22:15

My back hurts so much. Can't sit/stand/lie in any way that doesn't hurt. I've not even over done it today. and paracetamol don't seem to be touching it.

30 weeks today though. Feels like a milestone

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 28/09/2014 22:18

Wow 30 weeks Catface! Haven't we done well?! I can't believe we've been chatting for six months now Shock

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 28/09/2014 22:25

("Haven't we done well" to be read in the style of Bruce Forsythe)

CatFaceCrayola · 29/09/2014 00:02

Bruce Forsythe makes me want to hurt people!! :)

It's pretty crazy isn't it. That day when I peed on a stick in a KFC loo feels simultaneously like it was forever ago and like it was last week!! The next 10 weeks feels similarly far away/mega near too.

my little brain cannot cope!!

CatFaceCrayola · 29/09/2014 00:03

Cliff Richard has a similar effect to Brucey as well!

LotsaTuddles · 29/09/2014 09:49

I was just yesterday thinking that it feels like it was so long ago that I found out I was pg yet it's gone really fast too

SassehMonsta · 29/09/2014 09:56

It's mental to think I have know I was pg since 5th April - where does the time go?! Yet 9-11 weeks and baby will be here. Madness.

On the plus side, only 5 weeks left at work. Today I find out from CAB if it makes more sense to quit or to take maternity leave. Not sure which way I want it to go tbh!

Overdid it yesterday (dog walk, friends house with dog, then 3 games of bowling) and back really hurting today. Was worried rib stretching pain was going to keep me awake last night so put hot water on especially, but was asleep within minutes of hitting the pillow. Phew!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 29/09/2014 10:34

Haha me too Catface!

Has anyone started doing the kick counts yet? I'm starting to notice patterns of awake/asleep. 10-11am is very awake Shock

CatFaceCrayola · 29/09/2014 10:58

Not done any official kick counting or recording. I know she's usually active at bed time and morning though.

DH is in a strop with me. When I got to bed last night he'd sprawled and there wasn't room for me and all my pillows, so I thought I'd avoid waking him and go sleep on the fold out bed thingy (it does the job but isn't the comfiest but since I wouldn't be able to get comfortable if I was lying in a cloud it doesn't make much difference!)
Apparently I should've woken him up and made him move.

CatFaceCrayola · 29/09/2014 11:00

Oh and. ..as I first timer when should my next mw app be? Had one at 28weeks but got one on Wed (30+3)...have I booked wrong??
