Yay to more successful scans and the lovely pics!
My scan is Monday too! Starting to get a bit excited now, mostly because I am bursting to tell my family and ppl at work so they understand why I might be my normal self!

Little, enjoy the days of relief you get, I have found they come and go. Had a good start to this week but a crappy end. Fingers crossed all of next week will be good!

Hope all the teachers survived their first week back!

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 06/09/2014 02:29

I'm in absolute agony , I have never felt pain like this before .

my lower back hurts , I've just woke up crying I'm in that much pain Sad
what on earth is it ?

I have an aged to take some paracetamol but that's not helping at all .
I can't bend , I can't stand n I can't even lie down Confused

I'm walking round bent over like an old woman n I just had to crawl to the loo Sad

Lifeisabeach · 06/09/2014 06:11

Oh Panda that sounds awful. I've been getting pain in my lower back just above my bum cheek on one side, I googled it and sciatica was mentioned. Do you think it could be that? Definitely sounds as though you need to get it checked out. Hope you managed to get some sleep.

lotsoftoast · 06/09/2014 06:30

That sounds awful Panda - think you need to see a dr as soon as you can x

Try a hot water bottle if you can get in a position to use it

And yes, sciatica life is likely. I have it really bad at the mo. Had a hot water bottle all afternoon and seeing osteopath next week.

Wish I could offer more advice panda hope it eases soon

PickledPorcupine · 06/09/2014 07:57

I had really bad sciatica in the summer hols but since going back to work I'm back to cycling 12 miles a day and it's gone! Not saying exercise will work for everyone but it's worth a try.

Twittwooo · 06/09/2014 07:57

Morning everyone! I think sickness does come and go at this stage. I'm feeling a bit better - still sick at least once a day but not feeling the nausea as strongly or as often. Panda, I really feel for you - the pain sounds awful. What has your doctor said? Junk - that's not a great thing to have to deal with at work. Try to force yourself to take it easy, although I know how difficult it is. Do you know when the inspection will be? I'm not all that familiar with OFSTED as we have a different system, but I know how stressful inspections can be. Have a good weekend everyone - my 12 week scan is next Thursday so excited and nervous at the same time. I've had no more bleeding or anything for a while - after I found out about the bruised womb and had the early scan it continued for about 4 days so I'm hoping it's all over now and nothing to panic about. Glad, in a way, that I still have sickness and my tummy is most definitely expanding!

coastergirl · 06/09/2014 08:56

I get sciatica too plus general lower back pain. I'm with pickled, it's better the more active I am.

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 06/09/2014 09:35

Not able to see my GP til Monday , it has eased off a bit thankfully so I managed to get a couple of hours sleep .

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 06/09/2014 09:55

The pain started after I'd been walking for 3 miles

KeeperOfTheZoo · 06/09/2014 10:06

Hope the pain wears off for you Panda.

I'm at work, bored out of my brain as it's unusually quiet here. Roll on 12 o'clock!

I've got my scan on Wednesday - excited and nervous at the same time as others have said. Not feeling quite so sick any more but still horrendously exhausted and my stomach is huge!! Far bigger than i was with DS at this early stage Shock.

smokeandglitter · 06/09/2014 10:31

Sorry for everyone who still has sickness! And hope the back pain gets better!

Noooo re all the Sebastians. I chose that as my baby boy name as a child, have always loved it, dh loves it but HATE that it is now so popular. May have to come up with something else. Sad I just hate the thought of them sharing a name with someone in their class or something - blehh.

Scan in Monday though, woo!

Twittwooo · 06/09/2014 10:44

Sorry smoke! It's not a popular name at all where we are, not yet anyway. Our DDs name isn't one I've heard where we live either, which I admit I'm pleased about but I'm not under any illusions that it will always be uncommon or that she will always be the only one! Names come and go I guess, and a name that's unusual now could be in the top 10 in 5 years time. It's difficult to find a balance I think!

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 06/09/2014 11:26

Just spoke to 111 & they are sending an ambulance , they wouldn't let me not accept it iyswim Sad

Do I need to take my notes ?

ZylaB · 06/09/2014 11:30

Yes panda

And fx everything is ok x

Lifeisabeach · 06/09/2014 11:35

Hope they find out what's causing it Panda, and can give you something to help the pain.

HollyBen · 06/09/2014 11:51

Thinking of you panda I hope they managed to sort it

Twittwooo · 06/09/2014 12:08

Glad you're being seen Panda - hope they find the cause and that everything's ok. x

ToAvoidConversation · 06/09/2014 12:29

Poor panda. I really hope they make you better. Sounds awful. Thanks

persepolis123 · 06/09/2014 13:42

little my nausea started easing just after 10 weeks too. It's definitely still there but doesn't have the same intensity as before.

Good luck panda. I hope you get some answers and that everything is ok.

M27J5M · 06/09/2014 13:53

Aww panda hope your ok! I've been having problems with sciatica but not to the same extent as you!

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 06/09/2014 14:34

After prodding my back for 2 minutes they decided it was a trapped nerve and have sent me home Hmm

M27J5M · 06/09/2014 14:37

Have they not have you anything for it? Medication? physio?

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 06/09/2014 14:54

Nope nothing , when I got their they were concerned about my heart bpm as it was racing but that wasn't mentioned again

teaandbiscuitsforme · 06/09/2014 17:15

Hope you're feeling relieved now you know what it is, even if you're not feeling a bit better panda.

My 12wk scan is Friday but DH isn't allowed time off for it so we went for a quick heartbeat check yesterday at the place where we had our early scans-so exciting to see how much baby had grown! It was wriggling, kicking and punching away so everybody's now saying it's a boy. Anybody know if activity levels actually have anything to do with gender?!
