theonewiththenoisychild I am thinking of you. Stay positive. No pain and the fact the bleeding has stopped is a positive sign it probably isn't a MC.
How many weeks are you?

ZebraZeebra · 27/08/2014 14:30

Thinking of you also theone Sending lots of positive vibes. Also thirding seeing someone soon as possible - I would consider this an emergency, if nothing else but to put your mind at rest ASAP. Could be a lot of stress for nothing (I'm hoping this is very much the case!)

theonewiththenoisychild · 27/08/2014 14:52

junkfoodaddict im 9 weeks. im hoping that its a good sign too. but its just the size of the mass that came out that is troubling me. the last polyp i had was early pregnancy with dd (my first child) and it was small but did cause a lot of bleeding. this was quite big.

i am surprised i havent been seen today but i havent got the energy to make a fuss. it wont change the outcome either way so im just trying to get through today best i can and hope for good news from my scan

Thinking if you theone

kittenmamma · 27/08/2014 15:08

Everything crossed for you theone.
Surfsup- I don't really know, I think because we've only been here just over a year, he doesn't like moving. I'm happy to stay here for another year or two, we have more important things to spend money on at the moment.
I do want to get a car as we are about a half hour walk from the town centre but DH won't let us take a loan for one either! He's a nightmare with stuff like this so I'll just have to keep on about it.

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 27/08/2014 15:49

good luck theone I do know someone this happened to recently and it was just some weird unexplained clot. She's still pg and the baby is doing well. so fx

A VBAC is a vaginal birth after caesarean. HBAC (what I'm hoping for) is home birth after caesarean.

m33r · 27/08/2014 15:55

Hoping its nothing theone and thinking of you x

littlemissy12345 · 27/08/2014 16:39

Thinking of you theone, I hope it all turns out ok tomorrow .

TeresaGreene · 27/08/2014 16:40

Hey tentatively delurking to see if I can join? I'm 10+3 and feeling so nauseous and tired. I've got 2 dc but I had a mc in november last year so I'm trying to keep this pregnancy under my hat till my 12 week scan on September 12th. Am literally counting the hours till the scan!

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 27/08/2014 16:45

Come on in - we have very lax entrance requirements. You just have to be upduffed and due (sometime around) March next year :)

Lifeisabeach · 27/08/2014 16:55

Thinking of you here too, theonewiththenoisychild, really hope you get good news tomorrow. Thanks

Welcome TeresaGreene :-)

theonewiththenoisychild · 27/08/2014 18:02

eatscake its so comforting to hear that. im not bleeding at all now. my mum had a threatened mc when she was carrying me. things like this are keeping me hopeful. i am aware that it might well be bad news tomorrow but trying not to get too upset until i know for sure whats happening

FoscarC · 27/08/2014 18:21

That's good news that the bleeding has stopped. Fingers crossed tomorrow goes ok and I hope you manage to get some rest and sleep tonight.

Welcome teresa we are a very friendly bunch (I think), so make yourself at home. I kept it a secret until 12 weeks. It's hard! This is my first. I had my 12 week scan last Wednesday and was told I was actually 13 weeks. Tols my parents last weekend and will tell dh parents this weekend. It's all so exciting! I couldn't keep it a secret for much longer. Am exploding out of my clothes!

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 27/08/2014 18:22

Well keep talking to us x

junkfoodaddict · 27/08/2014 18:50

Theonewiththenoisychild I know it is difficult to stay positive and sometimes it is easier to think the worst hoping that it will help you cope better so I am going to be 100% positive for you. I think it was either the polyp/cyst thing you had or as cakes said,a weird clot that decided to make itself known. Make sure you rest easy tonight and keep us posted.
My hips and pelvic region (ligaments between my inner legs and my garden area) are absolutely killing me. Also I am beginning to get a bit downhearted that everyone seems to be able to feel baby move at around 10-12 weeks (mainly those having their 2nd or more) and I'm not convinced I am. I get strange little movements in the night but just not sure. My aches and pains really start to trouble me from 3pm onwards.

teaandbiscuitsforme · 27/08/2014 18:56

Thinking of you theone, keeping my fingers crossed for you tomorrow.

Had my booking in appointment today and found out that most maternity service are moving to a town 25mins away! Not sure how I've missed that news!

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 27/08/2014 19:37

tea what happened at your booking in appointment ?
I have mine first thing and I'm stupidly anxious Blush.

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 27/08/2014 20:13

It's a bit dull Panda, sorry. Asking for family history, taking bloods and pee etc. Don't be nervous :)

persepolis123 · 27/08/2014 20:18

Yep it's a bit of an anti-climax panda. Lots questions on family history, medical problems and you get handed a load of leaflets to read through at home about screening tests etc.

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 27/08/2014 20:25

Doesn't sound too bad then , just hope the Midwife is nice Smile

teaandbiscuitsforme · 27/08/2014 20:27

Panda I was ridiculously nervous as well and the first thing she did was take my blood pressure, without any chat and in the corridor of the maternity ward! It was high, funnily enough. The appointment was fine though. She did blood pressure, took bloods which get sent off and then I had to do a sample which she tested for glucose and protein before sending them off. Then we spent about an hour doing paperwork-just medical history, previous pregnancies/miscarriages etc, what will happen now. I'm sure yours will be fine, try to relax!

pinkandstripey · 27/08/2014 20:33

junk don't feel disheartened :) I'm 13 weeks AND on my 2nd and haven't felt anything yet. Don't recall feeling anything that definitely wasn't hunger (or wind) until much later last time, but I know the first time dp felt him move (obv from outside) was Xmas day, and I'd have been 21 or so weeks then.

pinkandstripey · 27/08/2014 20:34

And thinking about you theone have everything crossed it turns out ok tmrw xx

FoscarC · 27/08/2014 20:54

I'm 14 weeks now and feel nothing at all.

I was really nervous for my booking in appt but it was fine. Does anyone have low blood pressure? Mine was 85/55 at my booking in appt and at my scan it was 80/50.

Oooh, now I'm concentrating really hard and trying to feel nub move and thinking I maybe can? But I think it's probably wind??

KentExpecting · 27/08/2014 21:05

Thinking of you theone. Really hoping for the best for you!

I'm really upset about some work stuff today. Basically, one of my colleagues is being made redundant at 36-or so weeks pregnant for no good reason. Her manager has sidelined her since she announced the pregnancy - I've been watching this for months and it's been really infuriating. And the manager is actually female - you might have thought that a woman would be supportive to her pregnant staff member... But no, the opposite is the case. I'm so angry! And to be honest, I have to work very closely with that b of a manager and I'm selfishly worried about her sidelining me once she knows I'm pregnant. What an awful awful awful person!!!

Rant over. Sorry, ladies!
