bump M&S do some lovely neutral baby things and we also got lots of creams beige and grey bits from Mothercare.

Thanks mrsb for the thread. Def waddling now and off to the doctors on Thursday about my back, appointment is straight after my one with the nurse for my whooping cough jab!

My belly button has started sticking out now. It's freaking me out as the top bits out and bottom bits in Shock

binkybunny · 28/07/2014 22:13

sorry think it might have been mum2 that said about gender neutral stuff!

mrsb87 · 28/07/2014 22:47

I'm over cooking, cannot be arsed! Have somehow offered to cook dinner for friends on Wednesday night. Bugger!
We're lucky that we've had lots of neutral hand-me-downs from sil. I want to get a little coming home outfit but I'll wait a bit to get that. I guess at 31wks I ought to start thinking about my hospital bag!

OP posts:
mum2kiss · 28/07/2014 23:29

I'm scared to look at the links sazzle! Especially when we have an £1800 car bill to pay!

magichandles · 28/07/2014 23:37

My parents are coming up with all my 0-6 month boxes of clothes from DD and I am really looking forward to sorting through them, mainly to see if there is anything I can buy! And also start to get rid of the things I've saved from DS.

Pregnancy insomnia is starting to kick in now, I normally have no issue sleeping whatsoever and am asleep by 1030 most nights - not now though. I don't feel too bad at the moment though, so just going with the flow and trying not to get stressed about it!

My back is starting to ache a bit as well, so I've found some local pregnancy yoga classes so I think I'll book those tomorrow.

FlipFantasia · 29/07/2014 03:17

New thread! Marking my place.

Am lurking from now on as have had a bad week. I'm not going to go into details, as it is too sad, but it has changed this whole pregnancy. But I enjoy reading every one's posts, good and bad. I look forward to when we are all holding our babies.

Bumpforme2014 · 29/07/2014 06:55

Hope your okay flip, I've had a sad week as well which has also changed things for my pregnancy. Roll on due dates, need a cuddle with my little miss now.

Bellyrub1980 · 29/07/2014 07:33

I didn't even realise this thread existed. I've been lurking in pregnancy for months!! Due end of October so not long till I'm 3rd tri. Just marking my place really as I like hearing about experiences of other ladies at a similar stage to me.

Has anyone had a 4d scan yet? I'm booked in for next week. A bit nervous TBH.

Kirstipops · 29/07/2014 08:06

Welcome bellyrub! Yep a couple of ladies on here have had the 4d scan, from what I can tell there is nothing to worry about other than the fact you may fall even more hook, line and sinker for your little one than before and wish the rest of your pregnancy away Grin
Bump and Flip, hope you are both OK and things start to get better for you soon x
Well today I am finally booking my semi intensive driving course, the instructor is phoning me to organise, hurrah!

Me23 · 29/07/2014 08:08

flip and bump I'm sorry to hear that I hope you are both ok a is nothing too serious, hoping you have lots of support sending hugs to you both Flowers

I'm also having a crap time with my severe anaemia it is really getting me down feel so useless that I can't do anything without having to sit down to stop collapsing. I'm not a good mum right now.

bumpbangbump · 29/07/2014 08:09

Sorry to hear you're having a rough time flip and bump. Share if you want to, maybe we can help support you both!

Welcome to the party Belly, we're an alright bunch. A little obsessed with shopping, but otherwise we get into very little trouble honest!

mum2kiss · 29/07/2014 08:51

Hope you're both ok flip and bump!

So I caved and had a look at those links...then my debit card laughed uncontrollably at me! Lol! Think I'll have to take a look at what M&S gas to offer...

Meeting a preggers friend for lunch today. Haven't really seen her since school so should be fun...

ohthegoats · 29/07/2014 09:04

I've bought lots of plain but bright coloured stuff for gender neutralness. Plain bright red, blue, green, yellow, turquoise etc - no sleepsuit or short sleeved poppered vest cost more than 2 quid each. John lewis, m and s, mamas and papas and mothercare - so not cheapo quality either.

Pregnantagain7 · 29/07/2014 09:22

Uh oh mini boden catalogue arrived this morn, pregnantagain step away from the Ipad!! Grin

bumpbang yes not cheap i know, but worth a treat, or a gift. And like I said, they do very great sales - normally 50% off. The thing is the clothes are fantastic quality and most are UK based brands run by other mums and some are even made and printed in the UK which I feel is important and ethical. I just buy less and know I'll hand it all down anyway! H&M is good for a few basics though defo.

Plus also I tend to only spend on things now my DS is 3 and doesn't grow out of them too quickly. Very little point when they are 6 months, but after 18 months and they can walk it makes more sense personally....

binky my belly button looks like that - like a nose!!!

Haha mum2 don't do it then with a car bill! Store for christmas treats instead!!! WAIT FOR SALES!! That is what I always do...

Kirstipops · 29/07/2014 10:17

Yep I won't be spending loads on teeny baby clothes either, the hat and mitts I bought are up to 3 months and will do to pimp up a wee babygrow and blankie as a coming home outfit :)

bumpbangbump · 29/07/2014 10:17

Tbh, I was very lucky with hand me downs and gifts with my D's so bought very little. I have bought a grand total of nothing for this one! Like you say, they got so little wear out of the early clothes than there's little to no point in buying expensive stuff... My ds still ruins clothes now, food a dirt are all over him all the time. Maybe a girl will be a tidier creature? Doubt it!

Grannyapple · 29/07/2014 10:40

Morning folks...not much to report here. Finally feeling a bit more human which is just as well..madam's birthday tomorrow & house is a midden so need to get it sorted as best friend is visiting from Glasgow tomorrow with her hubby & 3 kids, need to get a birthday cake for madam as haven't had time to make one as well as food for a wee tea party tomorrow, & we have the last bit of snagging getting done today from our building work that was finished in early June (cornicing needs applied to the new walls). I'm thinking pregnancy yoga will be getting missed at this rate tonight as too much to do! Oh yeah & still got to wrap madams pressie & collect one of them from post office...all of this with 2 kids in tow!

flip & bump hope you're both ok & sending hugs xxx

fatpony · 29/07/2014 10:44

Does the whooping cough vaccine hurt? I'm a real wimp with jabs.

I'm still feeling pretty good but not really looking forward to August - no holiday or not much nice planned, loooong month, commuting in London everyday and it's hot.

We've been doing lots of salads as can't be bothered to cook either, a really easy one to make is pea, broad bean, feta and pancetta with lemon and olive oil. Some nights I just have toast and marmite and a load of fruit.

Here's me at 28+4.

mum2kiss · 29/07/2014 11:03

Fatpony i didn't find the injection itself painful...just the after bruising and itching that has been annoying!

I remember Dd having tons of clothes before she was born...this baby will wear a paper bag lol!

ohthegoats · 29/07/2014 11:22

Looking neat there fatpony.

sazzlehopes · 29/07/2014 11:52

fatpony i'm a wimp too - it didn't hurt, but it ached after, like a dead arm for a day or 2 but that was it...promise!!

bumpbang i too have bought nothing for this one either! It's another boy to, so really lucky with not having to have anything at all new.

Is anyone else getting blocked ears? Feels like when you are on a plane? They just come and go, but it's still annoying!

ohthegoats · 29/07/2014 11:53

Erk, someone in my NCT class, who is only 2 and a bit weeks ahead of me, is going in today to discuss ECV because her baby is breech. Surely not already? I thought that was something they discussed MUCH later on than 34 weeks? It's a FOUR HOUR appointment.

YellowWellies · 29/07/2014 11:55

My MW said she wouldn't worry about breech until 36-7 weeks as they can still turn up to that point
