Bangonthedoor · 15/08/2014 13:19

God iphone...in my tummy obviously

HerRoyalNotness · 15/08/2014 14:30

Your meals all sound good! I resorted to pot noodles last night and told DH to pick himself something on the way home. I left work early yesterday, was feeling awful and came home for a sneaky nap before picking up DSs. Feeling a bit better this am, need to get up and go through DS1s clothes to see what he needs. His new school don't have uniform, argh and this is the last weekend we'll have to get him outfitted for school. He seems to grow like a weed over summer. Also need to sort through my mat clothes and see what I need to add. Must.get.off.the.couch.

Another scan at noon today to make sure everything is till okay, hopefully I'll start to relax after that. I always have high Bp at the appt as I'm so on edge.

Right, I'm moving! Have a good day everyone!

Memphisbelly · 15/08/2014 14:46

I have had toast and bread and butter today and that is it. Im loving oranges at the minute but I struggle to peel them!
Been to see SIL today as ds has improved enough to leave the house but apart from that I have been lazy!

donkir · 15/08/2014 14:51

Good lord just had an hour of absolute agony. Wind-eze is my best friend today.

Bimberley · 15/08/2014 15:12

We have done nothing too! Just some housework! I'm popping out later to sainsburys and Argos but that's it for today! I have so much washing to hang on the line but I really have no motivation today.

Have FIL over for dinner tonight. Just hope he isn't here all evening. I want a bath and an early night.
Heartburn is awful today! I have eaten a fair bit today though.

Bimberley · 15/08/2014 15:14

That sounded horrible! Just FIL tends to stay all evening and then fall asleep on our couch and we have to wake him or wait for him to wake up before we can go to bed!
Sometimes it's been 1am before he leaves!

Memphisbelly · 15/08/2014 15:35

Donkir oh no hope its passed now.
Bimberley my fil calls around 7 am on a sunday then is here on his motorbike about 8am and is normally quiet but if he knows im in bed he is loud. He also calls us around 4-5 times on a sunday to see what we are up to Hmm

BanglesSpangles · 15/08/2014 15:51

Afternoon all
I'm gearing up for an evening of cake making- friend's wedding on sunday and I'm making the cake. Really just want to sit in front of the tv doing very little though!

Ticktick · 15/08/2014 16:58

Congrats on your scan shelby, I'm due on the 17 th too :)

GeekyHybrid · 15/08/2014 18:37

TFI Friday! Full week at work has just about killed me, especially as I finished it off by digging up potatoes this afternoon. Relaxing bath and early night to bed with the kindle me thinks. Hope all you icky guys get a break soon, I think I'd be extremely grumpy by now so well done for hanging in there.

ProudlymadeinSA · 15/08/2014 19:51

Thanks everyone! Must remember that woken have babies in war zones etc!

ProudlymadeinSA · 15/08/2014 19:51

Women, even.

JacktheLab · 15/08/2014 21:35

Anyone still very very tired?

I'm knackered, I even had to close my eyes for half an hour at lunch time today!

Off to bed at half nine!

jenmcspen · 15/08/2014 21:42

Hope everyone is doing okay, and hi to all the newbies Grin . Haven't posted for ages but have been lurking. Have been feeling so exhausted and fed up that I couldn't think of much to say worth saying!
Have been feeling a bit dizzy and on tues passed out at work-scary!!!! Turns out have low blood pressure and am really anaemic. Good news is that with the iron tablets I might actually start feeling human again Grin so wasn't all bad! Smile
Talking nappies, has anyone got any recommendations for re-usables? Someone told me to try a nappy library but don't have one locally.

Memphisbelly · 15/08/2014 21:54

Jack I am still tired a lot but not crippling tiredness like at the start.

Jem i recommended fillyourpants up thread they can point you in direction of nappy library/gurus in your area or just give advice, i cannot remember who said up thread about the ones that popper to grow with baby but I liked those too.

Im looking for sling librarys there isn't one near here, I want a good sling for when they are tiny not to last me for years, my friend still carries her nearly 3 yo and my back wouldn't cope!

Sitting with a chinese in front of me but I cannot face it again, I have been in a fowl emotional mood again today, struggling with dh being away so much then when he comes home I just feel ugh

Memphisbelly · 15/08/2014 21:54

I meant jenm not jem

Bimberley · 15/08/2014 22:10

Jem I also have low blood pressure and have felt on theverge of passing out a lot.

jenmcspen · 15/08/2014 22:14

Doctor wanted to sign me off for a bit but I just want to feel normal (and work with a few 'ur pregnant not ill types!) Doctor has then advised work I shouldn't stand for longer than 30mins at a time... I work in a shop, so not sure how that is gonna work out!!!Confused

jenmcspen · 15/08/2014 22:15

I wish that the 'ur pregnant not ill' types that i work with would remember that pregnancy isn't a breeze for everyone, and that sometimes you can be pregnant AND ill.

Memphisbelly · 15/08/2014 22:30

I agree people should understand some people have a breeze andxsoke don't, my mum and my mates are OTT though and I have to keep saying to them its not an illness leave me alone but they are extreme....today I was told I am doing too much for carrying a trays 2 teas and some toast on Shock

freneticfox · 15/08/2014 23:57

Had an awful day at work. Long story, but most people think I'm ungrateful because I'm not relishing every minute of feeling ill because it means the pregnancy is healthy. Blah.

Awful nausea tonight, the worst it's been this week. Feel like I can't vocalise any of my issues at the moment, it's genuinely rubbish.

Welcome newbies & sorry to those if you who will are feeling retched. I'm absolutely wrecked all the time still. Also, when I turned the 13 wks, I was disappointed to read that I'm still in the 1st trimester?!
As a first time Mum, I'd love to BF. I really hope I can give it my all in order for this to happen but I'm under no illusion that it's any walk in the park.

My news is that yday, I bought my first pair of maternity jeans. I had been going around with my jeans buttons open & a bump band keeping it all together. But my gosh, the difference the mat. jeans make..!
Hope you all have a nice sick free weekend.

donkir · 16/08/2014 08:08

Off to tell me grandad today. Had to wait for OH to get a day off (he works at a zoo so weekends are busy) thing is we've been together nearly 2yrs and he's never met my grandad. "Hi grandad this is OH and by the way were 15 weeks pregnant." Think that should do it.

Memphisbelly · 16/08/2014 08:49

Oh frenetic I really cannot get over how awful your work are being,. I bet the stress of that makes your sickness worse.

Donkir are you worried about telling grandad?
When I fell pg last time we had only been together 6 months and I was shaking telling my dad although he didn't bring me up and adored dh such a weird feeling.
My mum told my aunt last week and she was apparently over the moon (they live up North) last time I saw her was my wedding and they stayed in our house the night of the wedding, we have a glass fronted bathroom cabinet and one shelf was clearblue tests, ovulation tests etc and the clearblue fertility monitor was on the side, was kicking myself for forgetting to hide it so think she knew this baby has been a battle so was nice to tell her.

Well I have had my daily 2 kiwi fruit, I missed 3 days and last noght had awful restless legs so thimk the theory of kiwi fruit helping works!
I have work today, ds has just gone swimming but not before fslling down the stairs and banging his head on banister at the bottom....he has never fell on them before even as a baby, have never moved so quick!
