Dont know what happened there

Normally around 6 weeks after that others can feel a kick, I so want time to go quicker.
With regards to heartburn tablets do check you can take various ones while pregnant, I took Rennies soft at the start last time but then had to move to stronger stuff but so many tablets the chemist said I couldn't take.

BanglesSpangles · 09/08/2014 15:47

littlemiss thats basically the only way with barbies- its not a success if youre not eating the leftovers for the next fortnight!

Viperama · 09/08/2014 16:03

I had an McDonald's milkshake today thanks guys! Lol

Memphisbelly · 09/08/2014 17:13

I have been craving gammon, egg and chips for days....tonight I finally get it!
Had a mad afternoon since work, got ds's first school shoes, a nightie as I normally sleep naked but what I put on in morning I cannot get on anymore and I also think I look scary naked now and also booked a spa day then realised no one is going to want to see my lily white belly in a bikini!

Bangonthedoor · 09/08/2014 19:07

I'm 14+1 with my 2nd also and thought for the past week and I had been feeling little flutters and taps too! It must be baby surely? It definitely doesn't feel like wind. It feels just like it did when I first felt DD move Smile

Memphisbelly · 09/08/2014 19:24

This has hopefully worked and you can see my scan...let me know what you think.

Memphis I have no idea - mildly confused by both the nub and skull theories! Lovely image though :)

After a really good day I've started feeling really sick this past half hour.

Starting to feel like this might be the whole term :(

thanks frenetic I really hope this passes soon for you would those anti sickness injections be available to you?

freneticfox · 09/08/2014 21:08

I doubt it since I'm not actually vomming - just nausea. In all honesty, it's getting better, I'm just properly impatient (plus still a bit anxious!)

Well I still can't eat much at all or it ends in horrible heartburn. Rennies and gaviscon not working. I had to sleep sitting up last night! I'll mention it to midwife Tuesday. I have my 16 week appointment then. I'll be 15+5. Really hope I get go hear heartbeat!

Very excited some kicks are being felt by you ladies! Not a single thing felt here yet. I keep laying flat hoping to feel something but nothing yet.
15+2 today and felt DD at 15+6. Although I am a lot more wobbly now!

hazzerw · 09/08/2014 23:00

I think I felt a flutter today

We're having a night in a B&B nr Chichester - there's a jojo maman bebe so I got 2 new skirts - one was £5 in the sale - bargain.

Memphisbelly · 10/08/2014 09:01

Bimberley the heartburn stuff from the doctors is more effective than the tablets, you can buy the thick liquid in boots too. Tablets didn't help me when the heartburn ramped up another level they just eased it early on.

Hazzer jojo sales are really good for maternity.

Absolute miserable day here today so won't be walking in the woods as planned, dh is at his dads doing work in the shed and we are meeting for a late breakfast.

Bangonthedoor · 10/08/2014 14:13

hazzer I was in chichester yesterday also, I live on the outskirts Grin

Bimberley · 10/08/2014 17:51

Very jealous of all these flutters being felt. I can't feel anything yet.
Not feeling very pregnant today either.

Been out to buy us all new bedding today. Our pillows had lost their plump!
Trying to hold of until after 20 week scan to buy baby things. I still don't want to jinx anything. I have bought 1 sleepsuit so far. Have you ladies started shopping yet?

Bimberley · 10/08/2014 17:53

Apologies for spelling. I'm on my phone.

Memphisbelly · 10/08/2014 18:05

Bimberley I have bought a few bits, I am so worried about affording things as december will be expensive as we host xmas, then presents and a disney Paris trip then my birthday in Jan along with a handful of other peoples so I want to buy it all early.
With ds they said at 28 weeks to get my bag packed and basic stuff I would need as I had to have surgery on my belly and didn't know if I would wake a mum! But then again I got the pushchair, carseat and cot at 12 weeks as it was new year sales!

cactusnic · 10/08/2014 19:04

Wow, realised i'm officially 2nd trimester now. Feels odd! Nausea still coming and going, and most food tastes vile! I'm obese, so losing weight wouldn't be a disaster...

Memphisbelly · 10/08/2014 19:17

I cooked a lovely meal.....enjoyed the two mouthfuls I had before I had to give in

BanglesSpangles · 10/08/2014 19:22

^^ this- its like i feel really hungry, but everything i eat is making me feel icky

Haven bought a single solitary thing yet. Had a sneaky look at babygros in next today, but we've agreed to hold off until september

Bangonthedoor · 10/08/2014 19:23

I've given up cooking memphis because by the time I get round to eating it I can't bear the thought of it! DP is cooking me a good old spag bol which my mouth is watering for....although we had to toss a coin to see who was chef Grin

thingsarelookingup · 10/08/2014 19:26

I'm loving all these people starting to feel baby move. Maybe I'm not imagining things after all. Last night I thought I could feel something but I'm only 12+3 so thought it must just be wishful thinking but maybe not. It is my second but I didn't feel ds until about 20 weeks.

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow. I'm very excited. We have told most people but I have been holding out on telling friends in oz so I'll be all ready to make a few calls on Tuesday Smile

Memphisbelly · 10/08/2014 19:56

3 attempts at re hesting my tea and it has finally gone!

Watching a birth program...why do I watch this stuff? I have my legs tightly crossed

bellaboo88 · 10/08/2014 19:59

Also loving talks of flutters, only thing I've had was like a spasm, gentle feeling lasting a few seconds....probably wind :-(

freneticfox · 10/08/2014 21:11

bella - how's your nausea? Keep remembering you're having a rough time too!

Been an ok day, had a few moments of feeling 'retchy' but generally am content with 'progress'.

13+1, is that a corner I see, hmm?

Morning all! I got woken up about 3am last night with horrible heart palpitations. :( I'm now anxious about it happening again. I hate them!
Anyone else had these? I usually get them when stressed but these actually woke me up.
