Donkir it must be a worry.
Frenetic you can take lactulose from chemist to sort you out. Wish I was bunged up.....far from it here!

Just had to walk miles after my car gave up on me driving from work, luckily it happened 30 miles from home but got it going til nearer home as I have no one at all to get ds from nursery today!

My waist is now 39 inches Shock full term it was 42....obviously I doubt it will get much bigger in circumference but will just fill out over months (hopefully)

I have two male friends who have wives with a child and they keep pandering over me...my only guess is their wives were high maintainance in pregnancy I had to swat my best friend away and said leave me alone! He said last week 'are you sure camping in your condition is wise' Shock

freneticfox · 05/08/2014 16:06

Ha, Memphis - people keep telling me I need to rest and I immediately think "Oh god, do I look tired AND incompetent?".

GP gave me lactulose and it's helped a bit - also got some prune juice to put in smoothies (I actually don't mind the taste). It's more the fact everything is very 'solid'. Quite uncomfortable. And that's even with drinking an obscene amount of water. It doesn't help that I have an internal haemorrhoid that was only diagnosed earlier this year. Well, that's going to get worse I assume.

Such a glam lifestyle, eh?

I've been eating actimel prune yogurts and also taking fibre gel which the pharmacist said was safe. it also tastes ok unlike some. Hopefully starts working soon.

Memphisbelly · 05/08/2014 16:20

Frenetic nothing says glam like piles....my mum was issued with an NHS ring to sit on after my brother was born, my parents were nightclub owners..... The coolest people around....and there was my mum pushing the best pushchair with a fuge ring in the basket Grin

Had my scan this afternoon. Happy to report little'un is normal size and looks healthy, all the bits in the right place. Such a relief to know I'm on track, exactly 12 wks by measurements so due date is 17th Feb.

Happy scan days to everyone else still waiting. X

JacktheLab · 05/08/2014 20:27

We had our scan today too, all is well, my due date has been shifted by two days so 13+5.

Already have my 20 week appointment, plus gt test at 28 weeks and a scan then too as I was diabetic last pregnancy.

Fingers crossed the nuchal test results come back ok now!

blankfornames · 05/08/2014 20:34

Happy scan news here too! Our Bean did a 180 somersault for the camera! Hello 2nd trimester! Grin
Glad lots of people had good scans & good luck to those still awaiting!

angeltattoo · 05/08/2014 20:35

Happy scan for us yesterday Grin
Due date of 14th Feb.

Still sick and very, very tired here. Roll on the 'glow'.

Memphisbelly · 05/08/2014 20:43

hazzerw · 05/08/2014 22:02

I'm loving the glamour! Congrats to all the happy scan news.
Got my blood test results today and am low risk so I can tell work tomorrow, woohoo!

freneticfox · 05/08/2014 22:35

Memphis that made me chuckle - that'll definitely be me, albeit minus the nightclub ;)

Happy scan news = happy fox! I sincerely hope I'll be joining in tomorrow.. eeep!

Feeling bloody rough tonight, headache and nausea - admittedly the nausea isn't as bad as it HAS been, but the headache makes it seem somehow more unpleasant, bleurgh. Would like the second trimester glow fairy to pull her wand out her ass and swing my way ASAP.

So glad to here all the happy scan news!
Got my results back and I'm also low risk!
Although higher risk than my last two pregnancies.
Could that be age?

Hope everyone has a nice day.

LittleMissSunshine33 · 06/08/2014 07:59

Glad to hear so many scans are going well what does the 2nd trimester have in store for us? We should start getting a bump ... Although my stomach is now huge and pretty solid too! When should we starting feeling our little munchkins?

Memphisbelly · 06/08/2014 08:13

Littlemiss some people don't feel baby move until 24 weeks but some feel it as early as now. I felt ds at 17 weeks so I am hoping for something soon as they say after your first you know what sensation is like.
Hair is suppost to be glossier and thicker too. I am just looking forward to enjoying food more!

I got my first ever lie in today with ds he woke at 8am!

hanflan · 06/08/2014 08:15

Morning all! Glad to hear so many scans went well over the last couple of days! There's good news from us too, we have a very very wriggly back flipping baby :) honestly was one of the best experiences of my life. I'm amazed at how much love I felt and it hasn't even been born yet! Was moved almost a week forward too, so due 13th feb, 12+5 today! Here's our little pickle. Any guesses on the sex?

Morning everyone Smile

Great news about all these scans! I can't wait to feel baby move, the first movements are so magical.

Day off today so my plan is to catch up on all my housework and do a nice fun activity with DD. Any ideas?

Have a good day everyone

freneticfox · 06/08/2014 10:12

Ah, so excited/nervous! Two hours to go..

Frenetic good luck, let us know how you get on!

I really want a cleaner, I feel so lazy to say it when I am home 2 days a week and a weekend day but I cannot be arsed to hoover or mop my floors

freneticfox · 06/08/2014 13:22

On cloud nine over here! Baby Fox is a little wriggler, saluted us and everything - took the sonographer AGES to get a decent pic! Was put a back a few days so am 12+4, due... Valentine's Day!!!

So, gender theorists... have at it!

OP posts:
Memphisbelly · 06/08/2014 13:31

I teckon hanflan is having a boy and frenetic is having a girl, I don't know how to put a pic on so I have had my pic for weeks and not added it

hanflan · 06/08/2014 13:38

memphis that's interesting, everyone has said boy so far for mine! We'll find out in a few weeks haha. frenetic I agree yours looks like a girl, only a girl would have caused you so much hassle anyway ;)

hanflan · 06/08/2014 13:38

memphis are you using a pc, phone, or the actual mumsnet app?

Memphisbelly · 06/08/2014 14:04

Ipad hanflan...just realised my scan pic is in my car currently in the garage broken.

Memphisbelly · 06/08/2014 14:05

I am still trying to convince dh to a private early gender scan but he is unmoved so far
