Happy wedding day geeky!

Donkir if you are concerned you can go down to A&E and they will refer you to the gynea team (obviously just check it is a hospital with an o&g department).

Anyone talking to their older children about babies in tummies?

CarefullyAirbrushedPotato · 03/08/2014 16:25

Hi All! I'd like to join in too please?
I'm 13+4 and have only just begin to feel like it's real

p.s re: restless leg try epsom salt bath for magnesium boost

Bimberley · 03/08/2014 16:50

Welcome carefully

LittleMissSunshine33 · 03/08/2014 17:48

Welcome carefully!

Donkir any news how are you?

I have my scan tomorrow Eeek!!! Excited and nervous all rolled in to one! Been at a two yr olds birthday party today with lots of babies to play with and practise with! Lots of mummy's with lots of lovely advise! Smile

Ticktick · 04/08/2014 09:28

Morning all, scan tomorrow, eeee! Very excited!

Saw our little'un briefly last week at my consultants appointment. It was amazing to see that there is actually a baby in there. I was so worried I might have imagined it! Iv been put onto daily fragmin injections & aspirin to thin my blood and have to wear compression stockings 24/7! Oh the dignity! Never mind, if it keep me and little'un healthy its got to be done.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend! Hope the wedding went well! Good luck to everyone having scans this week! Second trimester here we come :)))

freneticfox · 04/08/2014 10:59

LittleMiss - look forward to seeing pics!

Us February lot should be all getting scan pics now/soon/next couple of weeks... so excited to see our beans!

My scan is Wednesday, can't wait to finally see the little rascal that's been causing me so many unpleasant symptoms ;)

New one here Smile
Found out a few weeks ago i was pregnant, having calculated myself (against consultant's wishes, he cocked up), have found I am due February 18th, with twins Grin

CarefullyAirbrushedPotato · 04/08/2014 15:53

thanks all,
I don't think I'm having scans, so I'll be in the minority

CarefullyAirbrushedPotato · 04/08/2014 15:54

wondering, am I the only one still nauseous? it's wearing, y'know?

freneticfox · 04/08/2014 16:06

Carefully, I'm still feeling sick in the evenings, 13 weeks tomorrow. It's getting very frustrating.

ProudlymadeinSA · 04/08/2014 16:50

Geeky, hope you had an amazing day!

Carefully - I tried a day without nausea drugs yesterday at 14+3. Big mistake. Paying the price today. It is beyond trying.

Maybe - Wow! Twins! Congrats!

freneticfox · 04/08/2014 17:00

Proudly, sorry to hear that, I have the odd good day and I've stopped allowing myself to feel hopeful now to be honest. I know that the odds are it'll clear up by the time I'm 16-20 weeks, but I just can't see an end at the moment.

Hi All! Here is a picture of my fidgety little pickle! Had to go for a walk and drink more because it did not lay still! Don't think it wanted its picture taken! (Not like it's Daddy then!)
So pleased all is well sadly we knew the couple which were being scanned before us and they had lost theirs, so emotional and made us terrified walking in but so grateful!! I feel I can breathe a little sigh of relief now Smile

Memphisbelly · 04/08/2014 19:00

Oooh more twins on the thread!

Little, glad everything was ok for you,sad about your friend though.

We are back from our long weekend away, weather was actually amazing, the bump clearly liked the weather as it seems to have exploded over the weekend! I have ate more too which is good, had an amazing steak in a hotel yesterday I loved it so much I want dh to take us there and stay at hotel for our anniversary in March as my birthday is 3 days after due date so we wont be sneaking off then! Hope mum won't mind me leaving a 4 yo and a 2 month old with her Grin

CarefullyAirbrushedPotato · 04/08/2014 19:25

oh my, glad not to be alone but sorry you guys are suffering, I'm not bad enough to seek medication. Just find it difficult to be as energetic as my three year old would like. Still, if like last time it'll be over by 20weeks

Surf25 · 04/08/2014 21:49

Lovely scan pic, little. Very sad news about your friends though.

Still feeling bleurgh here. Roll on a time when we are all feeling better! Exhausted too. Hard when two other littles to run around after!! But have told them they are going to be big sisters and they are so excited! It is just lovely. They are giving my belly lots of kisses and talking alot about him/her. One wants it to be a boy and the other a girl so we shall see who gets their choice!! Am sure they'll be happy either way..hope so! Have other folk been sharing their news more? How has it gone?

Bimberley · 05/08/2014 07:48

Hi all! Glad your scan was ok littlemisssunshine! Sorry to hear about your friends!

Wow more twins! That's amazing!

Memphis, so glad you enjoyed your trip away. I'm glad the weather was nice for you! I had steak last night too! I can eat lots more now but if I eat too fast it will lead to heartburn for the rest of the day! Living on rennies at the moment.

Have noticed this past couple of days that the bottom of my belly has started to fill out! I need to do some clothes shopping! Spent the day in DHs trousers yesterday just to feel comfortable!

So my DS has actually slept past 6 today and is still sleeping so me and DD are laying in bed with a cup of tea!
I cannot remember the last time I laid in bed past 6.30!

Hope you all have a good day

BanglesSpangles · 05/08/2014 09:46

Morning all. Have gone a bit incommunicado in the lead up to scan day, because I was basically bricking it! Anyhow, all fine- arms legs everything where it should be and midwife was only a day out with her dates which means I was well off the pace with mine!

High fives to everyone whose had their scan and good wishes to the next batch!

freneticfox · 05/08/2014 09:48

Great news on scans, littlemiss so sorry for your friend, must've been awful :(

My scan is tomorrow at 12.20, the 24-hr countdown starts soon... I really need a pick me up as I'm feeling so awful, a reminder of WHY I feel like hell would be lovely about now!

Bimberley · 05/08/2014 10:16

That's great news bangles!

Ticktick · 05/08/2014 10:22

Hurray! Bangles! What a relief after a near symptom-less three months you much feel very relieved now!

BanglesSpangles · 05/08/2014 10:38

I really do! (And more than a little bit guilty that some people have been suffering so much- you'd think mother nature would try and share it round a bit! )

tonightsthekindofnight · 05/08/2014 13:11

Hi everyone.

Lovely to see lots of good news following scans and good luck to those who are still waiting for theirs. Can't believe we are entering our 2nd trimester!!

We had another scan this week and both babies are growing normally and happily! This is the first time she couldn't get them both on one picture (little chunks) but fortunately they only charged us for one print. If only it was like that for all twin purchases!

I'm sadly really struggling with sickness still and am progressing to ondansetron injections at the day unit. I have finally given up on dragging myself to work this week and taken sick leave. I was being useless anyway! I had hoped I'd be passed the worst by now but hey ho! Sorry to others still suffering and fingers crossed we can forget the dreaded ms soon.

donkir · 05/08/2014 13:51

Congrats on everyone's scans and fingers crossed you all start to feel better over the next few weeks.
Midwife still hasn't contacted me when I left message on Sunday which has really annoyed me so booked emergency docs this morning as still bleeding slightly. Had a lovely female doctor who gave me lots of reassurance and I'm expected to have bleeding all the way through as it's coming from my mushy cervix.
Normally I'm a strong person and don't let things worry me. Since being pregnant I've turned into a hypochondriac.

freneticfox · 05/08/2014 15:34

I'm the same donkir, usually very blase about things but suddenly everything is worrying me. Currently extremely, erm, 'bunged up' and of course in my head it's a huge issue.

Less than 24hrs until scan...
