Haha, nipple erectus :D

bellaboo88 · 31/07/2014 11:09

Blank, I lost six lbs but only put on a couple despite eating rubbish constantly!

12weeks today! Want the scan out of the way now, nerves are driving me mad.

Still throwing up first thing & on phenergan. Today I couldn't vomit despite the nausea, praying my placentas starting to work to make it all go away!

Xx

hanflan · 31/07/2014 11:13

blank I am 11 weeks and I have actually lost half a stone :( I've just been so sick and have completely gone off food. Midwife said not to worry, it's only from the second trimester that it's more important to gain weight. Starting to feel a tiny bit better now though so hoping I can start eating normally soon!

blankfornames · 31/07/2014 11:25

Thanks (yet again!) for all the reassurance ladies. Sorry to those of you who are still feeling rather rough. Roll on the 'Glow'!!

donkir · 31/07/2014 11:28

13 weeks today and visibly pregnant and in maternity clothes as of last week but I have also lost weight. I think though mine is mainly muscle mass that I've lost as I used to do bootcamp once a week and since finding out I've only done it a handful of times.

Memphisbelly · 31/07/2014 11:45

regardless of food poisoning and a bug this week I still have the trots everyday really getting me down today.
my boobs are also cooking in the new bra! no room for movement now they are hoiked in

kitkatkaty87 · 31/07/2014 12:50

Hello, can i join please? I'm due 16th february. currently 11+3. got my scan next wednesday.
I've had morning sickness since week 7, vomitting is easing up a bit now. I've also just gone back onto anti-depressants again yesterday as I've been feeling really low and anxious this last month :(

on a lighter note, my boobs look weird now and i wee far too many times in the night and barely any fit my clothes fit me already.
Thats my story. look forward to keeping up with how everyone else is doing :)

thingsarelookingup · 31/07/2014 14:18

Welcome Kitkat.

Bangles I know exactly what you mean. I've had one early scan already and I'm still convinced I've made it up! I'm not sure I'll be convinced before i can feel movement

Burmama · 31/07/2014 14:40

Hi all, I'm a bit late but very happy to hear scans have gone well Geeky and donkir, hope everyone else doing ok! Hope you feel better Memphis, sorry to hear about dodgy stomach, boy have I been there and it sucks. Excited to have just officially entered 2nd trimester, but no glow in sight.Hmm I think I've lost a bit of weight too hanflan (or muscle) but waist MUCH thicker. Guess that isn't going to change anytime soon, oh well.

ProudlymadeinSA · 31/07/2014 15:51

Welcome kit kat, I hope the anti depressants help.

It's my birthday today and I've so far had a vomit and nausea free day. Yippee. Best gift ever.

I've put on about 2 kgs thanks to eating through nausea like a hungry hippo for first few weeks. Couldn't care less right now, just focussing on not being sick anymore.

Bimberley · 31/07/2014 15:52

I've put on 4 pounds so far and waist is defiantly thicker! I'm dreading how much weight will go on! I haven't lost the weight from DS yet and he's nearly 3!

thingsarelookingup · 31/07/2014 16:32

Happy birthday proudly. And excellent news on the nausea front.

freneticfox · 31/07/2014 18:01

Proudly that's awesome! It's 6pm and no sign of nausea whispers yet. Then again it usually gains momentum in a couple of hours. Here's hoping for a good evening.

I just put a cake in the oven to bake... not licking the bowl before washing up was officially one of the hardest things I've had to do.

Stupid pregnancy restrictions. I know it's bad for you anyway, but still. Always take a childish delight in raw cake mix/cookie dough etc.

Six days until scan. Yawn.

Welcome kitkat.

I have no sickness now but still don't fancy food and when I am starving still such an effort to eat, i usually cook lovely meals when camping but have no ideas due to not fancying anything.

hazzerw · 31/07/2014 18:30

Welcome KitKat, happy birthday Proudly!

So am amusingly being kept up to date with some of the office gossip as have told one person and get reports! Today's was 'is she pregnant because she ginormous!' Haha, made me laugh. Can't wait to come clean but the amusement factor is getting me through.

Memphis I've planned all the kids meals and am then going to take the kettle in case all I can face is pot noodle! I just can't predict what might not make me feel sick. Kids are just all about to arrive.. Might tell them tonight, woooo!

kitkatkaty87 · 31/07/2014 19:03

Thanks guys. I hope you all have a vomit free evening. I have a feeling my dinner won't stay down tonight.x

Memphisbelly · 31/07/2014 19:26

Hazzer good call on pot noodles, bes meal I ever did was a camping stove roast, bisto gravy cooked chicken, sliced it up and simmered it in gravy and another pan with new pots and veg was really nice but not sure I can be bothered to travel to get a cooked chicken, Wells doesn't have a decent supermarket!

longbottom · 31/07/2014 19:29

Hi, can I join please?
DC#2 EDD 25th Feb.
Have felt like death, lost weight but have not been sick for two wholw days, woop!

GeekyHybrid · 31/07/2014 20:03

Welcome longbottom and kitkat.

Hooray frenetic and proudly, may it continue to get better for you both.

Memphis - I'm going to have to take your word for it on the luxury spa hotel with champers, not having had the experience myself!!

Mother and sister have arrived for the wedding. Have tried to explain to sis about the sensitive nose, and even though she has to smoke outside the whole house smells. And unfortunately not just tobacco. Yeesh. It's only 'til Monday (she chants as a mantra), and I'm at work all day tomorrow etc.. We will all survive, I think (hope). Must keep calm (adopts zen position) ;-)

Memphisbelly · 31/07/2014 20:09

Geeky I have only been once but it was amazing, we are going again in 4 weeks but no champers this time!
Im not sure on my signal this weekend so have an amazing wedding day, try to forget your sister....it is only until Monday and you can throw the windows open to air the house after!

GeekyHybrid · 31/07/2014 20:18

Thanks Memphis, enjoy your weekend too and we'll re-emerge next week all relaxed, and recovered in my case!

thingsarelookingup · 31/07/2014 21:42

Welcome longbottom.

That mantra sounds like the best way to get through it geeky. I hope you have an awesome weekend - nearly there now. And then after you can relax and have your house back to yourself Smile.

I'm really hoping this is the end of the sickness for you now frenetic and proudly. It feels like that will somehow mark the turning point for all of us moving in to the second trimester. Does that make sense? You two seem to have had the worst of it for this group.

freneticfox · 01/08/2014 06:08

Has anyone else experienced restless legs or hands? I've heard it's common later on in pregnancy, but I've been awake since 4am, unable to keep my legs or arms still... Bloody frustrating!

OP posts:
thingsarelookingup · 01/08/2014 07:11

Yep frenetic I had it last pregnancy and just started to get it this one. The one I'm really dreading is the night time leg cramps. Very painful and have left me with visible veins (varicose veins?).

Memphisbelly · 01/08/2014 07:36

yes my legs recently started, worse at this time of day rather than at night for me.
