Thanks for reassurance guys, it has subsided a bit and I'm on train now trying to catch some z's. I'll be in total knicker watch today.

Had a dream DP stuck me in a row boat and sent me down rapids to find our car to drive home from the mountains. Oh the symbolisms of pregnancy!!

donkir · 29/07/2014 08:51

Not feeling very positive now. DP and I just dtd making most of a lie in and now there's blood everywhere. Seems to have stopped now and no pain but I'm so scaredHmm

Memphisbelly · 29/07/2014 08:52

Viper that is a weird dream! I keep just having ones sbout my belly moving and seeing feet and face appear pushed against belly!

Memphisbelly · 29/07/2014 09:12

Oh Donkir Sad what time is your scan?

JacktheLab · 29/07/2014 09:13

Donkir

I kept a note of stuff when I was pregnant the first time and when dh and had sex I had some bleeding afterwards, am sure everything is ok x

What time is your scan?

I'm scoffing two rolls and square sausage to try to keep the morning sickness away today Wink

Surf25 · 29/07/2014 09:32

Bleeding after dtd is really common donkir. Scary though, I know. Hope scan goes well. Jack your comment made me smile having just eaten a croissant and pain au chocolat and wondering what else I can eat to keep the ms at bay... Just been sick all over myself on the way to work and van't quite believe I've just stuffed my face atraight after! Blush

Hope everyone has a good day and that it gets better for those who haven't had the best start!

LittleMissSunshine33 · 29/07/2014 09:33

Donkir I'm sure it's nothing if there is no pain have you DTD much since being preg? Good luck with the scan!

OH has been really funny about DTD he's worried he will squash my stomach or hurt the baby ... I did tell him it's wishful thinking if he thinks he can reach the baby haha

Thanks for the thumbs up on names!

donkir · 29/07/2014 09:40

Thank you for all your wishes. Scan at 11. Only dtd 3 times in 3 months and I occasionally bleed after anyway as have lots of scar tissue but this was just so much more than usual.

ProudlymadeinSA · 29/07/2014 09:49

Donkir - keeping fingers crossed for you. Memphis - you poor thing. Get well soon.

Frenetic - afraid 12 weeks came and went in a storm of vomit for me. Hope it's different for you. 14 weeks in a few days and I think the nausea is easing a bit, but I have been on serious bed rest so maybe that is helping too. The vomiting is about the same. Come on placenta - work your magic!

Bimberly - are you due 29 jan? If so we're due the same day!

freneticfox · 29/07/2014 11:22

It's official. Last night and this morning is the absolute worst I've felt so far. Going to hide under a duvet and will it to go away.

It feels hopeless.

Sending positive energy your way for the scan donkir, I think it's totally normal to bleed after dtd especially if you have earlier scarring so try not to worry. Good luck! Shamrock

Burmama · 29/07/2014 11:28

Oh and thanks memphis for the good advice, re: not telling anyone names we have in mind. They just keep getting shot down. But I guess they won't when they're attached to a baby that everyone has to love, right?? Good plan. Sad that Ollie is still out the window though damn it

Burmama · 29/07/2014 11:39

One last thing: I just updated stats list with my new EDD (Jan 28) and CAN NOT believe how many EDD buddies - six of us!! mrshjb kalidasa jdr1234 MrsM14 CharlieWoo [waves]

MrsCK · 29/07/2014 11:56

Hiya, my EDD has changed now to the 29th Jan instead of 28th...although I am telling people 'end of Jan' and not being specific so they don't know a due date...not working too well though as they keep pushing for more info!!

frenetic do I recognise you from the HG thread? Since going onto the Ondasetron (sp?!) yesterday I haven't been sick so I am hoping it's helping!!

I too am needing the maternity clothes...I feel fat and frumpy. huh.

Thanks for all your gender guesses. MW said she couldn't see a nub but it's ever so strange, literally every single person has guessed a boy but I have a girl feeling based on the pointy chin? So frustrating. Secretly I really would love a girly but really I don't mind too much.

Hope you are all OK anyway...I will try and be on here more now I'm off work for a bit :)

Memphisbelly · 29/07/2014 12:04

My EDD has also changed to Jan 27th, the only one due on that day!
Mrsck I haven't seen anything about the pointy chin, will look it up

BanglesSpangles · 29/07/2014 12:12

Ooh Ive got 3 DD buddies too!

donkir sure if there's no pain pain that's a good thing... I think it's only blood and pain together you need to be wary of

Hugs frenetic Are there no more drugs that the doc can try?

Really suffering with sciatica the last few days- is this the reason they tell you not to do any heavy lifting?! Can't remember having it this bad ever! DH has been showing me some yoga moves to try and alleviate it

freneticfox · 29/07/2014 12:55

Bangles I'm on Ondansetron which is the strongest they have, I think next would be a case of trying it WITH one of the other drugs.

MrsCK - Ondansetron takes the edge off if I take it at the right time. It has caused quite bad constipation though, I recommend acting early against that!

Currently unable to eat without retching, definitely the worst I've been. I don't know how much more of this I can take :(

OP posts:
ProudlymadeinSA · 29/07/2014 13:23

Mrsckn- really hope the zofran (ondansetron helps). A lot of ladies swear by it. We have the same edd!

Frenetic - you can do it! I take it in the morning and lunch combined with promethazine at night to help knock me out. It works ok. That could maybe be your plan b but I know promethazine doesn't work for everyone.

MrsCK · 29/07/2014 13:53

Thanks for the constipation tip...I'll keep an eye on it!

MrsCK · 29/07/2014 13:54

proudly thanks! its nice to have my edd confirmed now! have you had your scan yet?

Bimberley · 29/07/2014 14:00

Proudly yes I am due Jan 29th :) Due date buddy!
Although my other two DCs have been early. DD was born at 33 weeks and DS 38 weeks. I would really love to reach a due date this time!

Memphisbelly · 29/07/2014 14:12

Bimberley 33 weeks Shock did she spend long in hospital?

Im feeling so ill today I am starting to worry about the baby is the bug from hell I managed a bath but had to get out after a few minutes, luckily I am mansging to dring but my skin seems to hurt, my mum is coming over later. I have mw tomorrow morning hope I can make it

Bimberley · 29/07/2014 16:53

Memphis she luckily only spent 10 days in hospital. They discharged me the same day which was the hardest thing ever leaving her there when I'd just given birth! It made it very hard to bond! As long as I get past 33 weeks I will be happy :)

Bimberley · 29/07/2014 16:55

Posted too soon! I'm sorry your feeling so unwell memphis. I'm hoping it passes quickly.

donkir · 29/07/2014 17:22

Phew, scan went well jelly bean was wiggling around. New EDD of 5th feb. Still bleeding slightly but after being checked by doctor they're not overly concerned. They think as I've had several treatments for pre cancer cells and the fact I have more blood pumping dtd this morning caused some trauma to my cervix.
