Fingers crossed it finally gets sorted geeky.

Memphis taking a dump in a shop doorway is vile. I hope your sense of smell is not too hound like atm.

yay for the better sleep frenetic. The world is a better place when you're rested.

Memphisbelly · 24/07/2014 20:55

Thingsare luckily we are on the corner so I didnt smell or see it but I heard the shop owner screaming at him to clean it, refused to give him a bag and made him use the shirt off his back Grin

Geeky hope the mw gets something sorted for you.

bellaboo88 · 24/07/2014 21:01

Mrsck your scan pics gorgeous!!

11w today, scan a week on Monday. Just can't imagine having a tiny baby inside of me still!

Frenetic, I do hope these tabs help you. I'm still managing to vom b4 brekkie, I think it will become easier when the placenta takes over. Every days another closer x

GeekyHybrid · 24/07/2014 21:10

Due to the page automatically moving onto the next one earlier when I posted I didn't see your post Memphis, just scrolled back - OMG, that's mental. Hope you're having a relaxing evening. We've had our wedding rehearsal and just been sat here going through some final details, be glad when it's all done to be honest ;-)

Memphisbelly · 24/07/2014 21:29

Ah Geeky this is so exciting, we got married in March and I just wanted the day to be here and then pn the day I was outside the ceremony telling them to hurry up so I could go get married!
Not long umtil your hen, what do you have planned?

thingsarelookingup · 24/07/2014 21:33

Ah geeky that is so exciting though. It's a lot of work to plan a wedding so I get the just wanting it to be here but it's so lovely to have all your family and friends together too.

GeekyHybrid · 24/07/2014 21:57

Thanks things and Memphis. Hen night is tomorrow, pizza express followed by comedy club, will be telling the girls cos staying sober just not happen otherwise. It is all exciting and it's great getting everyone together but I'm not someone who plans (or is bothered about) details so it is loads of other people who are faffing / panicking whereas we'll just be happy to get married and have a party, nowt else matters to us. Hey ho. Soon be all done :-D

maddyw1988 · 25/07/2014 00:55

Hi all! just marking my spot! current due date is valentines day! cvs on tuesday so a bit nervous! xx

freneticfox · 25/07/2014 08:32

Welcome maddy! :)

Geeky I got married nearly two years ago now, still one of the loveliest days I have in living memory and the last time my Dad was out of hospital before he died. Treasure EVERY minute of the day itself, it goes SO quickly!

bella I'm now 11+3 so we're really close together! Really hoping we're both over the hump of it, as it were. I keep reminding myself that once this bit is over I'll in all likelihood feel amazing. Clinging to that!

It's finally Friday (and pay day, woo!) and I could honestly not be happier this week is finally ending. A weekend of sleep I think.

Welcome maddy. Your hen night sounds lovely geeky.

Memphisbelly · 25/07/2014 10:01

Argh there is now an April 2015 thread! We are moving on now!

RowanMumsnet · 25/07/2014 11:31

Hello February antenatalers

Hope you don't mind us barging in like this, but in case you hadn't seen, we wanted to flag up Mumsnet's inaugural Bumpfest on September 27.

It's our one-day event all about birth and your baby's first 6 months. It's going to be packed with talks, workshops and activities to prepare you for becoming a parent - and, we like to think, also useful for those who've done it before but fancy a refresher. 'No fluff, no guff - just the facts you need from those in the know', as our tagline has it .

We'd love to get some of you along (it is in London so apologies to those for whom that's too much of a trek) and can offer a group discount of one-third off the ticket price for bookings of three or more tickets (chance for a meet-up? Grin).

If you take advantage of Early Bird offer too and book before August 3, that means tickets for £43.55 per person - a price that includes lunch, drinks and snacks (all guaranteed pregnancy-appropriate) PLUS a goody bag filled with swag worth more than the reduced ticket price.

If you fancy it, one person needs to book the tickets (in groups of three or more: you'll need the names & email addresses of those in your group) and enter the discount code BumpGroup in the promo code link.

The BumpGroup promo will continue to apply (one-third off!) but remember that the Early Bird offer runs out on August 2.

Here endeth the promotional message. Thanks for listening and hope you see you there - and very best of luck to everyone.

Thanks
MNHQ

JacktheLab · 25/07/2014 12:26

HI everyone,

back from holidays, still no real symptoms, but my scan is a week on tuesday so fingers crossed that everything is okay!

Good scan photo Mrs, when are you getting married geeky?

Hello maddy :)

BanglesSpangles · 25/07/2014 13:08

Afternoon all, just catching up on the last page or so of posts

Geeky that sounds like a nice hen- I'm not a massive fan of the L plates and strippers, personally. Good luck with telling everyone :)

memphis poo in a doorway? I am seriously shaking my head in disbelief

maddy welcome!

Think I might go out for a run tonight- my first since I got my bfp. Just haven't really felt the inclination since, but now I fancy it, it's going to be magical!

shellbyville · 25/07/2014 13:08

Hello, I'm sneaking in. Due 21st with 2nd DC.

Memphisbelly · 25/07/2014 13:55

Bangles some of the things I see at work are shocking I live an hour away and people there are so different, at xmas someone jumped off the multi story and landed by my work and no one but me ran to help him or call the police, instead they tried to start fights when I tried to stop them filming the poor man and they all just stared, then people made stupid jokes, we closed because it was horrific and peope moaned because we closed. Shock

Just had my letter from NT screening, it says I am low risk so no need to do anything more.

Bimberley · 25/07/2014 15:04

Hi all! Just got back from my 12 week scan! I'm a little further than I thought. 13+1. Due 29th Jan. Everything looked fine. Baby was very lazy. Put it's arms behind it's head and refused to budge for ages so they could get the measurements.
It all feels very real now. We couldn't be more excited!

BanglesSpangles · 25/07/2014 15:14

Ha, memphis, that sounds particularly mental
Good news on the screening

Excellent stuff bimberley :) were you in there long? Still a week and a half too go for me- is totally killing me. Going to be in a state of frenzy by then!

BanglesSpangles · 25/07/2014 15:23

Ooh and Hello shellby (went should I do one post when two will do!)

Bimberley · 25/07/2014 16:06

Thanks bangles! Was in there probably 40 minutes in total.
I know what you mean about the wait! It's horrible! Good luck for your scan! I have another 8 weeks until next one!!

Memphisbelly · 25/07/2014 16:57

Bimberley that is great news! About 6 weeks until my next one now, have to say last 2 weeks has gone a lot quicker since having the scan!

thingsarelookingup · 25/07/2014 17:41

Welcome shelby.

Excellent news on the NT screening memphis. That does sound like an 'interesting' area you work in.

Did you have a nice holiday jack? The scan is finally getting close. I have very few symptoms this pregnancy or the last one and my son is 2.10 and I had a scan on Monday and all was fine with this one too so some people (like us) just get off lightly on the symptoms.

hazzerw · 25/07/2014 19:54

Happy weekend everyone! Congrats Memphis!

Really interested if you managed to run Bangles. I haven't felt up to it so far but am boot camping and hoping I'll feel like a run after 1st trimester. And that someday I stop feeling sick..

Am having my scan in Tuesday, hurrah!

FlightofFancy · 25/07/2014 20:37

Hi all
Sorry it's another bad news post, but I'm out of the group. 12 week scan wasn't good news and looks like a MMC. It's not the end of the world and there are far worse things happening to lots of people elsewhere right now - and friends have been through worse. We'll dust ourselves off, enjoy our lovely DS , drown sorrows in wine and try again in a few months. Good luck and squishy babies to you all!

Memphisbelly · 25/07/2014 20:46

Sorry to hear this flight xxx
