Hi,

Tentative post here - got 2 faint BFPs on Sun/Mon (period only due yesterday.
EDD seems to be between Feb 28 - March 1st depending on whether I use standard 28 day cycle or adjust to my 30 day one.
DC2 for me - DS was 8 days late so think I'm more likely to belong in the March club than Feb.

Will do another test in a couple of days to get the elusive dark line so I don't think I'm making it up

Hope someone else joins me soon.

Been vomiting (and shitting) all day. Don't know if this is ms or norovirus. I hope the latter as I can't take another day of this never mind two months. Grim.

FoscarC · 20/07/2014 15:24

I also have sort of 'feelings' in my lower tummy. Can't describe them. Not pain and not constant. But can definitely feel something going on. Not really period pains. Just an odd sensation. I think it's just everything growing and stretching. I hope that's what it is anyway!

FoscarC · 20/07/2014 15:24

eatscake hope the d and v settles down. Can't be nice at all.

PickledPorcupine · 20/07/2014 15:26

I will go on a comfy bra hunt for all!

I'm a size 10 but FF boobs so there's no way I can go without my underwired bras, they'd be down by my knees! I always get them measured at bravissimo though so confident they all fit well.

NotAQueef · 20/07/2014 15:27

oh eats hope you feel better!

I actually feel so miserable today all my back and abdomen are sore and uncomfortable (but not painful) so can't get comfy. feel sick and constantly shaky and just weird. normal for 8 weeks? I can't remember but feel like I am not enjoying being pregnant or excited yet as too busy moaning. Sad
feel perpetually hungry yet can't think of anything I fancy eating, then as soon as I start eating I feel stuffed. Hmm Hmm

Oh eatscake I hope you feel better! That's sounds horrid.

m33r I've got no real symptom atm except tiredness and hunger and tender but not hugely sore like they were boobs. It's worrying me a bit as I'm only supposed to be just over 5 weeks and had started to have morning sickness. Feeling a bit reassured that you're quite symptomless too.

Huge respect for all with children right now feeling ill or tired! Hugs to all. Smile

teaandbiscuitsforme · 20/07/2014 15:43

pickled I always get bras from Bravissimo too. Do they do maternity?

MGFM · 20/07/2014 16:17

I bought some seam free cotton crop tops from m and s. I have smallish boobs at the moment so hopefully at night these will help with the pain.

Felt sick in town aswell. Went for a cup of tea and a scone and felt much better :-)

notoasthere · 20/07/2014 16:20

Hello to the new faces! I never got back in to wearing bras full stop after having ds so am just wearing my bravado body silk seamless bras - v comfortable!

PerpetualStudent · 20/07/2014 16:25

Hello, can I tentatively join? After testing nearly all week (Im 12 days late) & getting faint BFPs I think Im ready to admit I might be upduffed!
Worked out a due date of 18th March.

Not having much in the way of symptoms yet, other than an achy back, feeling bloated & (sorry if tmi) pooping a lot more than normal. Almost wishing for something more 'standard' like feeling/being sick, but Im sure plenty of you would give a hollow laugh at that!

Brummiegirl15 · 20/07/2014 16:28

More newbies!!! Hello!!!!!

mariomadmum · 20/07/2014 16:34

ooh perpetualstudent we have the same due date Smile

PerpetualStudent · 20/07/2014 16:52

I noticed that mariomadmum, exciting!
Just been catching up on this thread & I've got the feeling 'something' in my belly. Hadn't noticed it until it wasn't there for a few hours this morning & got a little panicky... It's back now though (unless, the whole thing is in my head & Im creating BFPs/symptoms through sheer force of will :p)

M27J5M · 20/07/2014 16:54

I've got the same EDD too perpetual/mario Smile

FoscarC · 20/07/2014 17:02

Welcome newbies. This is turning into a wonderful full bus indeed!

smokeandglitter · 20/07/2014 17:13

Welcome new ladies! How exciting! Grin

On bra talk, anyone know anywhere that does comfy bras from 28 inches under bust? Gone up from a 26A to a 28B and only have one bra that was a gift that fits!

ZebraZeebra · 20/07/2014 17:47

So many new people - hello! :D :D Congratulations on all your BFPs!

Comfy bras - last time I found some very comfortable and cheap seamless crop top things from Primark. I tended to just wear bigger empire line sun dresses last time and they all seemed super low cut too, so the crop tops added a nice line to dress.

Anyone else getting a stitch? I'm really struggling going out all day with DS - this heat is killing me, the flat is too hot to stay in and DS goes nuts if he's not outside. So walking around all day and playing with DS, I have so many stitches!

Foscar hurrah on the no-more-brownness!

eatscake hope it's just a 48 hour thing. Hope it passes soon. Anecdotally last time, every month my period was due, I'd have a two hour vomiting session or Delhi-belly episode that was so horrendous, I was throwing up water that was still cold. And then it would just pass! Like it never happened. MW said it was body's reaction to a lack of period. Gee, thanks body.

ChatEnOeuf · 20/07/2014 18:13

Can I join too? Waves to Zyla, good to see you over here!
Chat, owner of one DD (2.10) and a highly strung cat. MC at 7/40 in March this year, now upduffed with an EDD of 17/3/15.

Sore boobs that no longer fit on the old AA cups (woo!) and a constant headache/dizziness that makes me feel out of this world.

Currently living in Notts...

ZylaB · 20/07/2014 18:34

Hey chat :)

muchostinky · 20/07/2014 18:38

Hello hello newbies. :-)

My DP is about to burst about telling someone (we have both told one person each) but he is so wanting to tell others. I can sort of see the good things about it, because if something happens and the bean doesn't stick he would probably end up telling them then anyway. So wouldn't it be nice to tell people and let them be happy for us, even if they would then end up feeling sad?

Does that make sense? What is everyone else doing about telling people?

MGFM · 20/07/2014 18:51

We have told close friends and family. Some people have guessed as they knew we were trying. Some people are ruining us telling them as they guess before we get a chance. But I don't feel weird about telling them. If I miscarry then I would want them to know. It is too exciting to keep to ourselves. It is our first so I am probably a bit over excited.

Dinnerfor1 · 20/07/2014 19:05

I have told people who I would tell and want comfort from if something went wrong. So parents, sister and best friend. I'm visiting my best friend for a few days next week and as soon as she saw I wasn't joining in with an evening glass of wine (or two) she'd have realised anyway!

People with toddlers, what are you doing about lifting and protecting your tummy? First time round I was so cautious, but obviously I can't just stop carrying dd when needed. Also, one of her favourite past times is clambering all over me and I'm worried she will kick my stomach.

ChatEnOeuf · 20/07/2014 19:06

All the people who know about my mc, will hear about this pregnancy sooner or later. Big work leaving do this week so they will all be suspicious by the end of the week!

fourmonthstogo · 20/07/2014 19:27

I must admit that I don't really get the no lifting thing, if you get your posture right and it's a moderate weight, like dd, surely it's Ok? I say this because I still lift weights in body pump, and did throughout my last pregnancy and that is agreed to be perfectly safe.
As someone said earlier on, people have been having babies whilst carting round toddlers for years.
