Hi,

Tentative post here - got 2 faint BFPs on Sun/Mon (period only due yesterday.
EDD seems to be between Feb 28 - March 1st depending on whether I use standard 28 day cycle or adjust to my 30 day one.
DC2 for me - DS was 8 days late so think I'm more likely to belong in the March club than Feb.

Will do another test in a couple of days to get the elusive dark line so I don't think I'm making it up

Hope someone else joins me soon.

Charlie.... I too miscarried in feb, had a light bleed and scan at 7 weeks showed a fetus 5 weeks which was just not possible. Scan two weeks later showed no growth but a heartbeat (most odd) and I miscarried a few days later.

Because of this (reason I'm posting) is the epu I went to then agreed to do an early scan at 8 weeks to reassure me. I kinda had to keep asking the nurse when I called tho!!

Maybe your local epu will do the same.

So sad to hear macca's news. Horribly horrible time. Rest and space and time to grieve. Hugs if you are still popping in here. Xx

Safra72 · 20/07/2014 00:10

Oh and apple - I had that with ds pregnancy and it was a sensitive cervix.

TMI ALERT....

If it's after bm, particularly if straining and if it's bright red and only bloody (ie no mucus or clots at all, rather like a cut finger type of blood) then it's called a vaginal bleed and could be cervical or even just a popped vein up there somewhere! Or so I was told. Point being the bleed would fade away between bm's and that's the main clue. The blood comes mainly as it's being squeezed out!! Lol nice eh??!

Doesn't really stop the worry but as you say positive thoughts help!!!

Xx

Morning all! Bad night here between a molar cutting ds and horrifically vivid dreams and a racing mind....yawn! Tiredness makes my nausea worse too. Have to work this morning - can't say I'm in the mood but hoping it will go quickly!

Brummiegirl15 · 20/07/2014 08:42

Morning ladies. Only just catching up with everything.

Macca I'm so sorry for your news, that really is shit. Had a mc back in May so know only too well how you feel. I also stopped posting on the Jan thread because of the same reason.

Defo agree with Tanny check out the mc thread and the thread TTC after mc couldn't be more supportive. Wonderful ladies over there.

Well I've got to 4+4 and that for me us a mini milestone as I had my mc at 4+3 last time so every day to me now is a new day "today I am pregnant" is the mantra.

Still part of constant knicker watch club. Every bit of discharge I am convinced is blood and I flee to the loo. I don't think that fear ever leaves you.

Looking forward to my docs appt on Wednesday. Unfortunately with Birmingham hospitals you can't self refer to midwife you have to see GP... Sigh...

Welcome to all the newbies - great to hear your exciting news!!

PickledPorcupine · 20/07/2014 08:59

I'm staying at my parents house and I have slept for 13 of the last 14 hours! Do you think they're suspicious?!

persepolis123 · 20/07/2014 09:51

pickled wow that's a long sleep! So hard keeping it from people isn't it?

I am feeling very nauseus this morning. Never thought I would be so relieved to feel sick. DP is a star, he got up early this morning with DS and let me have a lay in, cooked breakfast and now he has taken him out for a bike ride so I can relax for a bit Smile

eatscake did you call your midwife? How are you doing this morning?

MGFM · 20/07/2014 10:03

Woke up 630 this morning with really sore boobs. I might look into a comfy bra to wear to bed.

Cat kind of slipped out of the bag at a Bbq I had last night. A good friend of my dh, his gf said they were eyeing up my dh's bike rack on the top of his family unfriendly car. I said automatically well he is going to be selling it soon. The response was, why is he buying a new car? My dh loves his car so he wouldn't part with it easily. She asked if we were getting a family car. Oops.

bradderswantsababy · 20/07/2014 10:06

eatscake how are you feeling this morning? Sending positive vibes that the pains are your body getting in the swing of being pregnant. Hope you have managed to contact MW

macca totally understand you wanting to leave us but as others have said pop in and see us when you feel up to it x

We are on route to Brighton for the night so hoping the weather picks up (it currently looks cloudy) and not sure if it's morning sickness or car sickness but I don't feel good!

PickledPorcupine · 20/07/2014 10:38

Persepolis it really is!

MGFM I've been looking into bras online this morning because I need the same. Debenhams seems to have a good range so I'm going to try and get there this week to try some. Will let you know how I get on if you want.

teaandbiscuitsforme · 20/07/2014 10:51

Hi, please can I join? Been reading through and finally decided I should join!

I'm 5 weeks today, EDD is 22nd March. Had a MMC at 10 weeks in April/May and terrified now!

FoscarC · 20/07/2014 10:58

I have had to buy new bras already. Got some rather unattractive big things from m and s. No underwire and they seem to squash them in place rather than lift them up like my normal Ones do. This makes it a lot less painful when I do take my bra off for some reason. And I can run down the stairs without having to grab my boobs. Didn't find m and s selection very good. They seem to stop going in higher cup sizes without going wider for the non underwired bras. I need 32DD at the moment and most that go up to DD that arn't underwired start at 34. Maybe I'll look in debenhams too.

Still no more brown. So so pleased!! Am starting to get excited at the prospect of being a mum again.

How's everyone else that was having odd things happen doing today? Fingers crossed that everyone has a great Sunday.

I've just found out it one of dh friends birthday parties next weekend. Ugh. Can't be bothered. Have nothing to wear that will fit I don't think without making me look pregnant (or to be honest just a bit fat), I'd be fine if it was a morning thing, but come evening time I'm always huge. and need to do the 'drinking but secretly not really drinking' thing all night. And his sister will be there and will be watching me like a hawk I'm sure as she thinks we are trying to get pregnant.

m33r · 20/07/2014 11:55

I am symptomless so far today except a bit of an 'awareness' of my tummy - not quite a cramp and not exactly painful. Anyone else getting this and not much else?

Brummiegirl15 · 20/07/2014 12:08

Hi tea
Congrats and welcome! My EDD is 3 days after you. Glad I'm not the only one with a late March date.

I had mc too in May - and there are a few on here in same boat so we all feel your fear xxx

Brummiegirl15 · 20/07/2014 12:09

I have a bra question - so I need to buy new bras? Can I not wear underwired then? I'm a 34DD

muchostinky · 20/07/2014 12:21

About the bras - it was said that they needed to be non-underwired, but from what I have read they are now saying that as long as they fit properly, ie fitted somewhere decent (not m&s) and they don't dig in and the underwires do not sit on your breast tissue at all, then you can wear what you want.
I tried one of my bras from my last pregnancy yesterday and I felt like I kept needing to pull it down, so until my current ones feel uncomfy then I am just gonna wear what I have.
Not that my theories are scientifically proven of course, so you do what's best for you. Grin

MGFM · 20/07/2014 12:54

pickled if you find some good ones then yes please share!

Imight go into town this afternoon and have a mooch around.

M27J5M · 20/07/2014 13:30

Afternoon ladies :) back in the land of communication after a great wee night away! Was a planned boozy night away and then obv found out I was preg so got a bit annoyed and drunk folk all around me!

Dinnerfor1 · 20/07/2014 13:43

Hi everyone, can I join? I got my bfp last week but it's only just started to sink in! I'm due on 21st March and it'll be dc2 for me.

I don't feel like I have as many symptoms this time, just extreme exhaustion, all that could be caused by getting up at 5am every day with a toddler!

I didn't wear underwired bras last time, just got some really comfy, well fitting ones. I'm in non-wired at the moment as I'm still wearing my rather unglamorous breast feeding bras!

m33r that's all I have so far. It just feels like mild period pains really low down. I feel like I should be feeling different!

teaandbiscuitsforme · 20/07/2014 14:19

I'm scared about boobs growing-I'm already a GG and terrified they're going to get too big for decent bras!
pickled let us know if you find any!

teaandbiscuitsforme · 20/07/2014 14:21

m33r I have the same pains, more than last time though so I'm not sure if it's a good sign or not?!

mariomadmum · 20/07/2014 14:35

m33r me too, although my boobs ache a bit. I dont want to start feeling sick, bit I do? if you know what I mean lol, just so I know things are going as they should be.

ladyflower23 · 20/07/2014 14:59

Hello can I join please? Got my bfp last thurs and due 29 March. 4+1 today so mega early! So far symptoms are occasional mild cramping, slight achey boobness, bit light headedness and occasional v mild nausea. Am too hoping for some more symptoms (but nothing too bad) so I can really believe this is happening. This is my second pregnancy (have a ds who is 2.5) and promised myself I would enjoy the whole thing this time instead of worrying something would go wrong. But already failing miserably!!

FoscarC · 20/07/2014 15:01

I have just got some very comfy and fairly pretty new bras from mothercare.
