Hi,

Tentative post here - got 2 faint BFPs on Sun/Mon (period only due yesterday.
EDD seems to be between Feb 28 - March 1st depending on whether I use standard 28 day cycle or adjust to my 30 day one.
DC2 for me - DS was 8 days late so think I'm more likely to belong in the March club than Feb.

Will do another test in a couple of days to get the elusive dark line so I don't think I'm making it up

Hope someone else joins me soon.

macca I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how you must be feeling. X

bradderswantsababy · 19/07/2014 09:03

Macca big hugs to you hope you can get lots of hugs and tlc from partner x

Fizzy that's a pretty impressive bump for so early on could you have dates wrong or are you thinking multiple bubs?

Eatcake just checked back through post in a panic think I might be the one you knew but phew not me! ( not that I wouldn't like to know you iyswim!)

Mil finally acknowledged me being preggers with a text just saying congrats no asking how I was or that she was excited! Hey oh we are not close but I still feel a bit miffed!

Rain here is shocking but at least it's not muggy like yesterday.

Knicker watch here too along with poas (I had 15 internet cheapies) and my boob growing at an alarming rate!!

persepolis123 · 19/07/2014 09:03

I'm so sorry macca Sad

I had some cramping last night and still have a really tender stomach this morning. Feeling very vulnerable.

M27J5M · 19/07/2014 09:05

So sorry to hear that macca :( big hugs!

Happy to hear everything's fine now bouncesky

Good morning all Smile

smokeandglitter · 19/07/2014 09:24

Bless you brisgirl glad everything turned out well.

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 19/07/2014 09:26

boucesky - nosiness wants to know more

Macca - I am so sorry. I've been there. it's shit. Big hugs

Foscar - occasional brown stringy bits (eww) but not all the time.

I do have horrible wind though. Sorry for TMI. I remember this from last time because DH said "I know you're creating life and all, but it smells like something died in there"

Lifeisabeach · 19/07/2014 09:30

I'm definitely joining the anxious knicker watch camp. Still only 4+4 so it feels like ages til I'll be in the safer zone. I had bleeding in last two pregnancies - one turned out fine and resulted in DD, and the other was a mc. Sort of feels inevitable that I'll get some this time too. Must try and think positive - today I am pregnant!

m33r · 19/07/2014 09:35

perse 'vulnerable' is the perfect word to describe how I feel.

I have itchy nipples today not much else...

And yes lifeisabeach 'today we are pregnant'. That is my mantra... Going with my mum today to hypothetically to look at prams. Am going to be repeating in my head 'I am pregnant!'

KeeperOfTheZoo · 19/07/2014 09:39

Firstly huge hugs to Macca - can't imagine what you're going through, just hope you're being helped through it by family.

Bouncesky glad everything got sorted. Sometimes a damn good argument is just what's needed to make both sides say what they really feel and get tot he bottom of things. Onwards and upwards now hopefully for you with the support of all of your family Thanks.

Well I caved and bought a digi yesterday, depiste my 2 very strong positives at different times on different days using supermarket tests. The good news is I did it this morning and got "Pregnant - 2-3 weeks" which is what I fully expected. Weird but I think both DH and I believe it that little bit more now we've seen the words in black and white.

Fizzy mine isn't too far off that already - my EDD is 23rd March. I was standing at the opposite side of the room to DH last night, talking to him when he just stopped what he was saying and said "I hate to say it hun, but you've got a real bump!" He's worried that there's no way we'll be able to hide it from people for another 7 weeks+ and I'm inclined to agree with him...

PickledPorcupine · 19/07/2014 09:55

So sorry macca xx

ohfourfoxache · 19/07/2014 09:58

muchostinky · 19/07/2014 10:13

macca so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself xx

MGFM · 19/07/2014 10:15

Macca so sorry, that is awful news!

fourmonthstogo · 19/07/2014 10:22

Oh Macca, I'm so sorry. Big hugs to you and I hope you are getting the support you need.
Perse I know the vulnerable feeling, it's such a tricky time. Thoughts with everyone feeling vulnerable today.

ApplebyMennym · 19/07/2014 11:12

Macca you poor thing. It's horrible. Look after yourself, you will need lots of rest and relaxation. Love to you.

My symptoms have kicked back in big time now so I'm quietly hopeful that my scan on the 28th will be positive. I had bright red spotting last night and almost shrieked, but reading on it reassured me, it can be a number of things, and it has stopped now.

This is definitely my last one, I couldn't deal with all the stress again! I turn 30 next year, not long after this one is due, so it will be the start of my thirties and an end of pregnancy!

hlc123 · 19/07/2014 11:31

I am so sorry macca

junkfoodaddict · 19/07/2014 11:33

So sorry to hear your news macca. I am lucky enough not to have had an MC but on telling people my pregnancy news, I keep reminding them that it may not progress. I think I am trying to prepare myself for it if it happens.

I woke up this morning at 3am feeling anxious. I had a terrible dream but as the morning progressed, I seem to be forgetting what it was about.

Also my boobs don't hurt as much. Nipples are bigger but that's it. Still getting cramps but mostly in my left side of the tummy. Tired but overall I feel my pregnancy symptoms are diminishing.

I know it can be paranoia and I had the same with DS but I feel like I need to do another test just to be absolutely sure.

We're flying off to Turkey on Tuesday so being away whilst 5/6 weeks pregnant sort of fills me with dread.

pinkandstripey · 19/07/2014 11:34

macca so sorry :( look after yourself (((hugs)))

Not dealing with the heat very well here, not much sleep in tthis house today. DP and I are sniping at each other and &ds is teething and was running a temperature last night. DP sister is coming to visit later, am sure there will be fireworks at some point today :(

charlieis30 · 19/07/2014 11:57

Hi everyone
Joining tentatively... 6w4d today following a MC at 7w5d in Feb. FC for this little bean!
Did we already talk about private scans? I'm abroad for work at the moment but I've made myself an appt with the GP at 7w5d when I'm back in London. Thinking about making an appt with Fetal Medicine for that week for a reassurance scan. Thoughts?

FoscarC · 19/07/2014 12:00

Just for those others with brown discharge. I have just phoned my local birth centre and had a chat with a really lovely midwife who has put me at ease. Unless it turns red or cramps it should be fine.

ZebraZeebra · 19/07/2014 12:49

Feeling absolutely shocking. There's a constant layer of sweat all over me. Feel hot, dizzy and sick but have been out since 9am with DS who just wants to play. I just want to lie down. Pregnancy with a toddle is hard!

Trondheim · 19/07/2014 12:59

Littleturkish how do you know it's a girl?

Zebra whereabouts is it? Now you made me want to go. I probably won't though due to walking rule.

Littleturkish · 19/07/2014 13:05

trond sorry- I've scrolled back but can't remember what I posted now- was I talking about my DD? This one no idea and not finding out. I have a feeling it's a girl. Did I call the bump she??

mariomadmum · 19/07/2014 13:41
