Hi,

Tentative post here - got 2 faint BFPs on Sun/Mon (period only due yesterday.
EDD seems to be between Feb 28 - March 1st depending on whether I use standard 28 day cycle or adjust to my 30 day one.
DC2 for me - DS was 8 days late so think I'm more likely to belong in the March club than Feb.

Will do another test in a couple of days to get the elusive dark line so I don't think I'm making it up

Hope someone else joins me soon.

eatscake I've had brown discharge too. I have been in such a state. Had it most of Wednesday. Not a lot. Just some when I wiped. But have been panicking ever since. From what I can tell, and I've been doing a lot of reading on the subject over the last few days, it is fairly normal and you should not worry. It can be for many reasons. And sometimes no reason at all. Just one of those things. Only worry if it gets heavy and red and clotty. And just tell your midwife. I understand exactly how you feel though. Have been worried now since Wednesday. Have my booking in appt with the midwife on Tuesday and I can't wait as at least then I can talk to her about it.

fizzyrubbish · 18/07/2014 23:48

Okay, the nausea has kicked in and it's manageable, just catching up on everyone. Like to join the FB group but err, thoughts on this photo I took of my belly earlier?

Due on 16 March. I didn't have a washboard admittedly & I have had 4 children (plus 2 other pregnancies) but errr, are you thinking what I am? Confused

Sorry this is a more obvious one

Sp1rals · 19/07/2014 01:00

Shock Fizzy did you have a fair oul belly to begin with? Any chance of a shot with more context, like the line of your back? Otherwise, well yes, that's a bump! Are you thinking its looking, how to phrase, twice the size?

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 19/07/2014 06:49

Not pregnant any more. Woke up to a sea of blood and a negative test. Sad

bouncesky · 19/07/2014 07:30

Oh macca, I'm so sorry.

bouncesky · 19/07/2014 07:34

Thanks to everyone for their support with the situation with my mother. Got to the bottom of the issues last night during a huge argument and she is fine now! Had a good chat with her and now peace has resumed!

fishfingerSarnies · 19/07/2014 07:35

Oh no macca I'm so sorry, thinking of you. Xxxxx

Littleturkish · 19/07/2014 07:37

So so sad to hear that macca sending lots of positive thoughts and please look after yourself.

smokeandglitter · 19/07/2014 07:39

macca so sorry, hope you're getting lots of support. Thinking of you.

bouncesky glad it's resolved and peace has resumed!

smokeandglitter · 19/07/2014 07:43

fizzyrubbish are your dates wrong? That's quite surprising! Ps. Like your top!

Lifeisabeach · 19/07/2014 07:48

So sorry macca

FoscarC · 19/07/2014 07:55

macca I'm so sorry. That must be horrible and such an awful shock to wake up to. Sending you lots of hugs. Look after yourself.

ZebraZeebra · 19/07/2014 07:59

Oh macca I'm so sorry to hear that :( Be kind to yourself, it's such a hard time. Lots of love to you.

Fizzy that's one "bump"!! We need more pictures - more context needed!

So hot yesterday, it was awful, I cried a lot. Poor DS doesn't know whether he's coming or going. We have a paddling pool in our local park and I just wanted him to play in it for ages so i could sit down for a while - who wouldn't want to submerge themselves in cold, fresh water and play with other children?? Nope. He wanted to charge around the whole park :(

eatscake oooooooh how funny you know someone on this thread! But how does she not know you know?

Trondheim how goes it today? Measuring and remeasuring is always a faff and not an exact science. The put my date back and then I ended up being two weeks over due with a whopper of a baby.

FoscarC · 19/07/2014 08:01

bounce pleased everything has been sorted. It must have been hard.

eatscake how's the brown? I'm still having some. It's not a lot, but just slight brown tinged with the odd brown fleck when I wipe. Not really sure what to do. Am I ok to wait until Tuesday when I see the midwife? Not sure what else to do.

ZebraZeebra · 19/07/2014 08:05

I think the rule of thumb is - brown is fine, bright red not so fine. But it must be so worrying, it's hard when all the symptoms of pregnancy AND non-pregnancy i.e period are the same! What's up with that, Mother Nature?

Was supposed to go to family gymnastics this morning - it's an amazing class and two hours for parent and child, but it's all the way across London and the Victoria line is down and god, I just don't have the energy for buggys and escalators and trains :(

Trondheim · 19/07/2014 08:13

Macca I'm so sorry, that is rough.

Zebra DD was the same at the park yesterday, would not get in the water just wanted to run around. Toddlers.

Re dates I can see being about 3 days out as my cycle is a bit weird (still BFing) but no more. If she hadn't asked for another scan id be less worried. Oh well, nice to get more scans I guess. Thanks for your support everyone it's made me feel so much better!

Trondheim · 19/07/2014 08:14

Zebra getting the tube for a baby class!? You must be either very dedicated or it's an amazing class. I don't go to anything I can't walk to!

NotAQueef · 19/07/2014 08:21

macca I am so sorry- hope you are being taken care of x

Anyone have cazy storms last night? Kept awake for hours here, not least because ds came in to our room to watch the storm "wooooaaah that was giantnormous mama" and if I dared try to roll over I'd be poked and warned that I missed a bit. Ds was then up for the day at 5:15 yay!
8 weeks tomorrow, seeing doc on Mon for midwife referral.
Have had horrible back pain since yesteray though so convinced something is wrong

Hope those of you with bleeds/worries can be reassured soon, must be so worrying.

smokeandglitter · 19/07/2014 08:25

zebra, the Victoria line is down? Tfl says good service, but I know they're sometimes wrong. Eeek. Supposed to be using it today in a couple of hours! Do you know what's going on?

smokeandglitter · 19/07/2014 08:27

Sending hugs to those with worries or sadness, look after yourselves, keeping you in my thoughts. Much love.

ZebraZeebra · 19/07/2014 08:35

Crazy thunderstorms here too. Thank god it's raining, the coolness is lovely.

smoke it was down early this morning when we were checking. Might be up and working now? Citymapper is much more reliable than TFL, I find!

Trondheim it's an AMAZING class. We were doing Tumbletots but it annoyed me how they'd have the children on loads of apparatus, then stop halfway through and make them sit and sing songs. WTF. You can't explain to a toddler that what we were just encouraging you to do you now have to stop...then start again. Plus in this class the parent gets to use all the apparatus too so everyone joins in - you would do something, then you'd help your child do it. It's two hours for £10 for the two of you and DS's movement skills have come on crazy fast. It's worth tube-ing it across London, for sure.

smokeandglitter · 19/07/2014 08:57

Thanks zebra I've checked and it's all back up! Smile

It's still horribly hot and muggy here (we're in kingston). We did have thunderstorms but not as amazing as night before last.

Brisgirl · 19/07/2014 08:59

Oh macca so so sorry to hear, hope you are being well looked after - go easy on yourself.

I've been away from mn as had a stressy, busy week. Was getting quite bad pains in my lower left abdomen at the start of the week and trying to ignore them. At the nudging of a GP friend I rang GP on weds and he said best to get it checked out as "I was at the right stage for an ectopic" he was a lovely man though so didn't know whether to laugh at his bluntness or cry.
Anyway, DH and I went to the EPU absolutely terrified on thurs but scan showed heartbeat and lovely tiny bean measuring nearly 8 weeks, so a week further on than we thought. New dd is the 1st of march but don't know how on earth that's possible unless I ov'd at 8 dpo!! They think pain was due to a ruptured cyst on ovary.
Was at a wedding all day yesterday and gutted to not be drinking pimms by the gallon like everyone else especially in the 30deg heat.

Total lack of all symptoms here apart from the sore boobs still. Trying to be zen about it all although a couple weeks of ms would be welcome?! For those STILL on obsessive knicker watch sign me up to that club!! So want to stop being paranoid though!

So nice to be back and catch up on 6(!!!) pages of news. Are we a chatty lot or what?! Like the idea of a FB page will pm when I get to a computer. Have good weekends ladies and thinking of you macca
