Hi,

Tentative post here - got 2 faint BFPs on Sun/Mon (period only due yesterday.
EDD seems to be between Feb 28 - March 1st depending on whether I use standard 28 day cycle or adjust to my 30 day one.
DC2 for me - DS was 8 days late so think I'm more likely to belong in the March club than Feb.

Will do another test in a couple of days to get the elusive dark line so I don't think I'm making it up

Hope someone else joins me soon.

Thanks for the list pinkandstripey ! Looks so official seeing it there..I hope this one sticks...

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 13/07/2014 22:05

wanksock (what a name! ) that's my birthday :)
Dh's is 10 days after that and my mum's is 2 days after his.

Ds was born on Dh's dad's birthday. Looks like poor Dot, if he hangs on in there, stands a fair chance of a family birthday also. ..

Oops. Forgot to say - congratulations scenic. Friend of mine had her Dtbs naturally on only gas and air last month. She says it was down to get amazing doula. Another friend had a gentle csec recently which I will opt for if the hbac doesn't work out. I'm especially opinionated about the skin to skin and not clamping the cord.

I'm having an independent midwife this time. Can't risk 2 years of ptsd with a toddler to look after as well. She'll make sure I am cared for and in control no matter what happens.

samk483 · 13/07/2014 22:19

Fantastic - this is the March group! I got my 1st BFP last week, and edd 8/3. I am paranoid as every female member of my family has mc before going full term…google tells me it shouldn't matter, but worried nonetheless! Pretty persistent cramping since last Thursday which often wakes me up…but no spotting (phew). No other symptoms..not even sore boobs :-( GP appointment on Thursday which will hopefully calm me down. Looking forward to following everyones progress!

Thanks for the updates my edd was revised to the 17th but I won't update now so as to not fill the page!
Welcome newbies getting good group going now!
How is everyone feeling today?

FlipFlippingFlippers · 14/07/2014 08:16

I'm pretty sure my edd is 11/3 but tbh my cycle has been all over the place so I'm not entirely convinced! I'm going to have to buy a new bra. Currently sat in one of my mums gross massive granny bra and its so comfortable! I'm also peeing 3 or 4 times a night which only happened in the third trimester in my previous pregnancies. This is all new to me!

Brummiegirl15 · 14/07/2014 09:17

Wow, check out that list!!! Fantastic. Lots of lovely March due dates.

ApplebyMennym · 14/07/2014 10:26

My symptoms completely disappeared last night and haven't come back this morning. Dr Google has been it's usual unhelpful self - half miscarriage stories and half "it'll be fine, it's normal". Managed to get an appointment at the EPU for Thursday morning so I will be keeping my fingers firmly crossed until then.
Can't help feeling this is it, it's over.

notoasthere · 14/07/2014 10:28

How many weeks are you apple? It is normal for symptoms to come and go byt I also know that's no consolation when you are feeling worried

ApplebyMennym · 14/07/2014 11:11

I'm not sure notoasthere my cycles are very irregular. My last period was on May 27th which would make me six weeks but I don't know when I OVd as we were dedicated "just shaggers".

I felt so sick yesterday morning which was horrid as I am emetophobic, feeling sick for me is just as bad as being sick. Now I'm almost wishing it would come back!

fourmonthstogo · 14/07/2014 11:14

Fx apple. If it's any help I really don't have many symptoms, is this your first?

I've just told my body pump instructor that I'm pregnant, feels odd telling her when hardly any family and friends know!)

hlc123 · 14/07/2014 11:17

Appleby, I am also emetophobic. Not feeling too bad yet (5+2) but am in work later and scared it will start then!

ApplebyMennym · 14/07/2014 12:18

fourmonthstogo it'll hopefully be my third (fourth pregnancy) so I really shouldn't be the neurotic mess that I am now! Don't remember my symptoms with the first since it was 10 years ago. I felt very sick and tired with my second. Very weak symptoms from the start with the one I lost.

I've done another test (I have loads of eBay cheapies) and the line was stronger than the one I took a week ago and came up quicker, so that's a good sign I think...

hlc123 I have found sea sickness bands to be incredibly good at controlling the nausea. In my last pregnancy I wore them pretty much constantly. It also helped psychologically because I felt I was DOING something to stop it, pressing on the pressure points and breathing deeply, it made me feel more in control. I was only actually sick twice in that entire pregnancy. My mum is emetophobic too and she said she was never once sick in any of her three pregnancies so it's reassuring to know it's not a foregone conclusion that because you're pregnant you will definitely be throwing up from dawn till dusk!

hlc123 · 14/07/2014 12:37

Appleby - I tried the bands with my first but they did nothing, ended up chucking them in the bin! Glad they helped you last time, fingers crossed they do the trick again. I suffered badly with both my previous pregnancies, had awful heartburn last time that made me sick until my dr prescribed me Ranitidine which really took the edge off. Fingers crossed for a happy healthy pregnancy x

Popsicle30 · 14/07/2014 12:40

appleby I wad worried on Saturday because all my symptoms had gone. This included my tender boobs which have been a constant since before I got my bfp

They all returned on Sunday though and today my nausea is on overload. I'm not being sick but that doesn't make me feel any better at the moment. I may look at purchasing some sea sickness bands.

M27J5M · 14/07/2014 14:07

Well today I've very quickly realised that me and salt and vinegar crisps are a big no no :(. Was soooo looking forward to them!

LadyBird15 · 14/07/2014 14:28

Hello, Ladies,

May I join your group? My edd 10 March and dear oh dear how bad is my nausea...:(

eatscakefornoreasonwhatsoever · 14/07/2014 15:19

fourmonths I remember that being weird when I told my yoga teacher before almost anyone else knew, especially since she was an acquaintance/friend rather than just my teacher. Also then had to tell her about my MC, which I wouldn't have otherwise - and she then brought it up in front of a mutual friend who didn't know about either the pg or the MC and I ended up in tears. Haven't been back to class since then and I try to avoid being in her company if I can. Not helped by the fact she's pg and due about 4 weeks before I would have been.
