Bugger hope all is good tomorrow & you have managed to rest today. Sleep well tonight.

In more sling news I contacted Babame (it's the place I bought my Ergo) about the Ergo 360 & they said they could reserve one for me for Sept, however they also recommended this one - www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008YKZLNO?pc_redir=1401425250&robot_redir=1
I include the amazon link as they have some reviews on there, however I will order from Babame if I get either (small, local company) with a V.v good reputation.
This carrier allows baby to me carried outwards safely too, ergonomic/hip friendly..
Fedup I have a city jogger too, got it for holidays, ease of transport etc. it is great but not as smooth to push as Uppababy vista. It is the one that we still use today for a 3yr old.

gunwalloe · 02/06/2014 19:37

Stigz I had it in my last two pregnancys it can vary in how debilitating it gets. Ask for a belt when you see the physio it helped me a lot

YellowWellies · 02/06/2014 20:13

CJ you're a sling pimp stop tempting me!

Gunwalloe and others great news on the scan! Ours is nearly here Thursday!

Bump I guess this one is learning the songs I sing to soothe Jonas - 'twinkle twinkle' and 'when the boat comes in'. Nothing however soothes him like Nirvana played vair loud. He can be going utterly thermonuclear batshit crazy and within a couple of bars he's just chilling. DH discovered that during some reflux hell 'go the f*ck to sleep' drives around rural Fife!

Stigz boo to SPD just sloooooow right down or it can literally end up with you on crutches or a wheelchair at the end of pregnancy.

Abigail is a lovely name. If we're a girl I think it'll be Lillemor (meaning little Mother in Swedish in honour of my late Mum) (pronounced Lillamo). If a boy possibly Magnus or Finn. I love Gabriel but DH hates it.

Yellow I like the title sling pimp! :) I'm now deffo going to buy the Lillebaby.
I love the name Lillemor, I know a couple of people with the name. Vert sweet & nice to shorten too.
We are scan buddies, mine is on Thursday at 12:45pm. I'm apprehensive & excited at the same time.

Pregnantagain7 · 02/06/2014 20:45

Hello all, I can't believe how chatty this thread is! Hope you're feeling ok buggerlugs I know how scary it can be but what you've said sounds really positive hopefully it's just your body making your plug as someone said :)
stigz I had spd last time I was one of the unlucky ones who got it really badly and ended up on crutches :( without sounding bossy you really need to listen to your body and rest up, hopefully you will just get it mildly. I spent two days walking round peppa pig world over bank holiday and was really sore when got back but touch wood after a few days of not doing much it seems to have settled down, hope it's the same for you :)
Anyone else feeling really tired again? Not sure if it's because it's half term and the children are tiring me out or just pregnancy knackeredness! :)

CellyD · 02/06/2014 20:50

Congratulations to everyone on the good scan news.

Bugger best of luck tomorrow, I'm glad you haven't seen any more worrying signs this afternoon.

Stigz take it easy, SPD can really slow you down and be painful. I had it from 26 weeks last time, so you have my sympathies, luckily I didn't end up with crutches.

Physio was really helpful once I got it. Good advice on how to approach day to day activities. Although I still couldn't put on my tights unaided! Most helpful was to take one step at a time when you go up or down the stairs. So step up onto one step with your good (best) leg and then bring your other leg to meet it.

Kirstipops · 02/06/2014 20:51

Oh man we have no names yet, argh! Starting to think we won't come up with any until after baby's born!

Pregnantagain7 · 02/06/2014 20:59

kirsti you're not the only one struggling with names because this dc4 I feel like I've used everything I like!
I really think we are going to be the couple who have a baby with no name for about four weeks after it's born!!
My family is italian and my children all have italianish names and we can't agree on anything!!

Evening all - marking my place!

YellowWellies · 02/06/2014 21:28

Buggerlugs last week I was feeling once a day, this week its every few days. I didn't feel anything for another fortnight with J so aren't worried about regular movements yet.

fedupofrainydays · 02/06/2014 21:35

excited is it the vista you still use or the city jogger for you 3 year old?

I don't want to spend much as can't really justify it so city jogger seemed reasonable!

Bumpforme2014 · 02/06/2014 21:36

Movement isn't regular here either, depends how busy I am but pretty random at the moment.

fedupofrainydays · 02/06/2014 21:37

bugs my movement is very irregular. Some days nothing others a few minutes of movement usually in the pm but today I had it this morning and nothing since. Wish I could feel it all the time as would find it comforting and less worried.

MundayCakes85 · 02/06/2014 21:49

23+1 and saw my belly moving and shaking in the bath for the first time. Pretty sporadic movement here but getting more regular. DH has felt it a couple of times but doesn't wait long enough usually!
Glad you've got your scan tomorrow Bugs, hope you're feeling better this evening

Oh my, I just looked at photos from my first pregnancy (we took photos of bump every week) and at 23 weeks I'm about the size I was then at 30. I'm going to be huge!

Sorry for those struggling with SPD, I'm getting some pelvic pain but nothing bad yet. Love hearing other people's name ideas - keep them coming. I find boys' names so difficult. I have a favourite (Rowan) but DH not convinced. My tactic is to keep quiet as long as I can and hope he comes round as he's really not one to respond well to pestering.

ExcitedCJ · 02/06/2014 22:05

Fedup City jogger. It really is a great little run around! DD likes it as she climbs up in & straps herself.

tothesea27 · 02/06/2014 22:10

Oh, I like Rowan a lot! Right now the only name we can agree on is Oliver, although my husband doesn't like how popular it is. Someone else mentioned Finn, which I also like.

I'm 21+3 and movement isn't all day, but often in the mornings and evenings and whenever I'm lying down. Sometimes I feel it when sitting or in the afternoon, but not often. I worried yesterday that it had been a while, just because it had been like half a day but have got plenty of big kicks since then. Still, one more thing to be paranoid about during pregnancy. Does anyone else sometimes find the kicks a bit surprising and sort of ticklish? That isn't quite the right word, but sometimes they are really strong and startle me a bit and make me laugh. Is that just me?

LondonJen · 02/06/2014 22:11

Stigz I had it in the first tri too but iron levels were fine, tho I do think having extra iron is never a bad thing hence the Spatone. It's mainly after going up/down stairs or such exertion. I've had nausea again recently as well though so all my first tri stuff seems to be coming back! Not sure what else it would be a symptom of I'm afraid? I think it's really common though, just exertion baby puts on body?

I slept 2 hours this afternoon that helped but am off to bed now can't believe made it to 10pm frankly.

Sorry me23 that sounds pants.

Buggerlugs I feel something every day (21+5) but it varies. Sometimes it's 5 mins of quite a lot of large obvious movement, others it's random one off pokes. Usually get something at similar times of day. Mine started off feeling small prods so sounds like it to me Smile

YellowWellies · 02/06/2014 22:40

Captain Rowan especially pronounced the Scots way (Row to rhyme with vow) is lovely!

I found the tickliest bit was toward the end when I could feel Jonas sucking his thumb and twiddling his fingers by his mouth when he was right down near my cervix. And the hiccups too!

ohthegoats · 02/06/2014 22:42

Mine is moving quite a lot now, to the point that I'm worrying it's protesting! Have doppler scan on Wednesday, so even though it's doing its nut in swimming around (all kicks v low down, reckon it's going for breech), I'm getting scan doom.

23+1 today, just put in for mat leave starting 19th September. Feels a bit real now. Erk.

ohthegoats · 02/06/2014 22:44

Rowan is what I'd have been called if I was a boy. Nice name. We've got a bit of a shortlist, but the favourites change daily. Not that we're discussing it much.

mum2kiss · 02/06/2014 23:07

Sorry to hear you have confirmed pgp stigz. As others have said the key really is to slow right down. Any time I think "oh I feel alright, I'll do some more" I end up in agony later. We have a trip to the zoo next Sunday...After that I'm not planning any more long days out which involve me being on my feet all day! I plan on going to some hydrotherapy pool sessions that the hospital offer

mum2kiss · 02/06/2014 23:08

Although apparently these are limited to 6 per person so I'm trying to time it right!
