buggerlugs def call your midwife but brown should be okay it's bright red that's a worry and cramping with it.

20 weeks today too. Am absolutely petrified about scan tomorrow. Not worried about baby movements but we haven't been able excited about it. With dc1 ended up having cvs etc done as they though she had problems....worst day of my life. Although she was perfect! I know things have changed in terms of looking for markers at this scan but it's going to be such a long day. Am pleased the kids are off school today to take mind off it a bit.

Well i have had to phone my first pregnancy related sick day!

I feel terrible as i have so much to do for end of term but my lower back is killing me.. Has done for weeks but just kept pushing through it at work plus decorating a new house for the past 3 months!

It has all caught up i think but now when i move my right leg a certain way im getting a shooting pain into my pelvis and can only open my leg so far as it feels like its locking something .., very strange & painful, going to doctors at 2.50pm

Now im sitting stressed out thinking about all the things that need done at work & my new home and i know i have overdone it so cant really continue the way i have been going!!

bumpbangbump · 02/06/2014 08:55

Bugs, stay in bed and watch lots of movies. If it carries on today then lay it on a bit think and cry at them until they offer you a scan/Doppler. Sorry you're having to deal with additional stress sweetness.

Yellow, I think it was you asking about my mW appts. I had oking in at 7wks, scan at 12, mW at 16wks scan at 20wks, mW at 22 wks and next o had gtt at 28 wks and mW at 28 weeks. She even said tat if I wanted to see her before, to just ring p and make another appt!! I must just be lucky down here...

gunwalloe · 02/06/2014 09:35

Bug have a nice chilled bed day

We are of to my anomaly part 2 I'm hoping she's in a better position this time. My youngest son got to feel a kick last night he was so excited :)

YellowWellies · 02/06/2014 09:54

Stigz that sounds a bit like SPD? Confused

OP posts:
mum2kiss · 02/06/2014 11:14

stigz that sounds a lot like pgp (spd). Mine started off as pain either side of the base of my spine. I kept ploughing on through and it got worse each day until I could hardly move my.hips to walk. No fun!

Totally overdid it in the new forest this weekend and did way too much walking on Saturday...that coupled with the bed feeling like a slab of concrete means I'm paying for it now! I saw so many pregnant women walking with ease and I was hobbling around like an old lady! I don't think I can remember what it feels like to have hips and pelvis in full working order! Dp keeps reminding me that it will all be worth it come October!

I really want to buy a pram now...I thought I was decided on which one I wanted until mil got involved. Dp said she said something about there being no point in us spending as much as £200 on a buggy (hah!!) So I'm hoping shes gone and bought an umbrella stroller leaving me to choose a pram that doesn't have that option!

sazzlehopes · 02/06/2014 11:25

Bugs hope the discharge has eased up for you and you are managing to rest at home ok. Let us know you are ok later...and defo ring and push for a scan if you at all unsure, you shouldn't be stressed, especially with your history it isn't fair.
On a happier note, your buggy looks great - love the colour choice too -I'd defo go with that one this time round but I reckon we will eek out the last wear out of our icandy cherry which has been fine for ds for 3 years.

excited i saw that about the ergo and it does look good as i like the idea of safe facing out as the bjorn we had (which I know apparently isn't great for hips) ds loved being in it for looking at the world! need to save though - it's pricey!

Glad you've got an earlier scan Bugs. Fx for you tomorrow, hopefully it is just old stuff making way for the new. Thanks

bumpbangbump · 02/06/2014 11:34

Bugs, that's great. What a relief to be able to get checked out so much sooner than you had thought. I hope you've been able to relax a bit, easier said that done I know.

Aww that's good you got your spa day at last Yellow, was this the one that was one postponed from last time? I'd wondered about my lack of leakage meaning if I'd have a measly milk supply, glad you mentioned that!

mum2kiss · 02/06/2014 14:09

bugs glad you got your scan moved forward. It's definitely scary to look down and see anything resembling blood when you wipe! I'm sure everything's fine though and they will put your mind at rest tomorrow :)

I really don't want to get back on my hamster wheel tomorrow! Can I start mat leave now?!

LondonJen · 02/06/2014 14:43

Sorry to hear you've had this worry buggerlugs but good news you've managed to get your scan moved and gald to hear it's calmed down too.

I am absolutely exhausted today. Breathlessness has come back and even though I slept well last night I am so tired I can't concentrate on work and have given up.

Moses mattress, sheets and 3 pack of sleepsuits arrived today. I can't stop looking at the sleepsuits, they make it very real/scary/exciting!

gunwalloe · 02/06/2014 14:58

Scan went well baby was in a good position the sonographer spent ages looking at the heart and we got the all clear phew. She took 3 lovely pictures one of the feet and two side on shots where she was scratching her head.

Kirstipops · 02/06/2014 15:06

Arggh managed to cut and paste my last post again by mistake, sorry.
So glad you're getting your scan tomorrow Buggerlugs, if you are anything like me you'll be far more confident of what constitutes nudges and kicks afterwards once you've seen where the sonographer is angling the wotsit on your tummy! Hope the time flies in til then.
Sorry for those having aches and pains, I feel a bit hit by a bus today, can't get comfy no matter whether I sit or stand, bah.

YellowWellies · 02/06/2014 15:14

Kirsti yes it was. And DH and DS got to join me in the pool for a while. It was lovely.

I just got this graphic novel recommended to me by a MW pal. It is officially her new favourite book to recommend to ladies preparing to give birth (the author also has an awesome one on BF too) and as it's essentially more pictures than words - it's a very quick read and easy to remember the basics (I forgot all details once in labour!). Soppy cow that I am I was all teary eyed at one of the descriptions of birth. Anyway it's put me in a really good and excited mood about giving birth again so I've bought a copy. Have a nosy here: www.thefoodoflove.org/read-bump/.

Glad to hear you have your scan tomorrow bugs and that there's no more brown stuff.

Popped into john Lewis today and tried on an ergo carrier after the recommendations on here. Expensive but was comfy. Has anyone got the baby bjorn miracle and rate it? £25 cheaper and much better support than the others?

Also pushed about a few city joggers as thinking of getting one as Hate my current buggy! I like the gt one!

STIGZ · 02/06/2014 18:23

Hi girls, went to docs and it is spd thing?? Have to go to physio and she has signed me off work for 2 weeks!

Her words were " it can become quite debalitating"!' .,, so slightly worried what im in for as i get bigger as i am in so much pain at this not so big size??? Im just going to take it easy now as much as possible., no more decorating for me im afraid!!

Good luck for all scans coming up and congrats to all who can relax now and dare i say "enjoy being pregnant" (",)

Binglesplodge · 02/06/2014 18:27

Happy to hear so many of you are doing well, and sending moral support to those who are not enjoying the glow quite yet...

Just wondering if any of you have heartburn? Any top tips? I've been really uncomfortable all afternoon and despite 3 glasses of milk am still feeling sorry for myself!

STIGZ · 02/06/2014 18:27

london jen i mentioned to doc today about breatlessness and she took a blood test to check iron levels ... At my booking in test she told me they where borderline ??

Have u asked about it ?

She also said if im not aneamic then i hav to go back and ser her to see what it could be ? ... that has me worried also !!

Me23 · 02/06/2014 18:44

Hello all havent been on here much lately. Im just sooo tired, work is manic as usual it doesn't help when women turn up after their appointment slot is gone eg more than 20 mins late and expect to be seen, it happens so much where ii work. Twice this afternoon! I have to start looking after myself and refuse to see them as it means I finish work late and I dont get paid for overtime.

Lately icant stay up past 9pm then im up all night weeing so sleep deprived.

Bumpforme2014 · 02/06/2014 18:56

Hello all, hope your okay buggarlugs. I am feeling good at moment, starting to pick cots, bug gyms and car seat now so all very exciting. Slowly getting my head round it being a girl and think we have decided on the name Abigail, I like it but DH loves it and it means fathers joy so I think it's nice.

Booked a 4D scan for July, i know lots of people think it's waste of money but I think it's lovely and you can bring five guests so both mums are coming :-). Is anyone else playing music to baby? I would like to start so she gets used too music to calm her down, feeling lots of movement and seeing her wriggle is amazing.

Feeling fat now, my face has gone round and fat :-(
