Yep I've been getting tiny bits of milk coming out too. Very scary stuff! I've just got back from busy day at work, my feet and ankles have started swelling up this week Sad

Kirstipops · 01/06/2014 18:05

My ankles are swollen after being out last night, have drank lots of water and juice today, hope they're down or at least no worse by next weekend when I'm Lake District-bound hopefully with some walks in mind. Also have some slight throbbing in my groin today, fun fun :-|

ohthegoats · 01/06/2014 18:44

No leaking, but plenty of aching! My favourite is the labia-ache. Nice. I have to remember that I can't keep doing everything at the same speed I used to do things at... just doing the stuff slowly ends up being exhausting by the end of the day. Still, this half term I've done loads of gardening and house sorting, even if I am now slumped on the sofa trying/failing to remember how to do my job for the morning.

YellowWellies · 01/06/2014 19:37

Teehee I have a naughty mind but I wondered what you were doing at speed to get labia ache goats Wink Smile

I've just had a Mum to be spa day from my boys and am superchilled with painted toenails and everyfink! I wore a bikini with my big white belly. Best ever bikini time - no sucking your gut in! Smile

Oh and I never leaked milk but had buckets full when baby arrived (and never leaked then either) so don't worry - no milk in pregnancy doesn't mean you'll struggle to BF. It might mean you'll get away without breast pads and leaking!

I am in agreement with the bikini wearing. I'm off to France on sat and I'm defo going to wear a bikini, my boobs look amazing and I may have a bit more thigh and back fat but who cares!! Hoping to get a little tanning too, seem to tan easier when preggo! Hooray!

Thanks yellow for the new thread too!

fedupofrainydays · 01/06/2014 19:45

Ooh spa day yellow! Lovely.
It's our anniversary this wk so going to spa hotel on fri night (grandma has ds!) and thinking of booking myself a pregnancy massage or something. Feels extravagant but so lush!

Yeah my boobs looked amazing this morning in my bikinis so I'm totes bikini all the way! May not even bother with the one mat swim suit I do have!! My extra fat is def all bum and thighs. Someone once told me this is your breastfeeding fat stores. Interesting.

I didn't leak milk last preg nor this one yet! But had leaky boobs once ds was born!

ohthegoats · 01/06/2014 19:56

Weirdly yellow, I think it's only gardening that has caused the labia-ache. I haven't got massive flappy labia though, so who knows how that works.

Kirstipops · 01/06/2014 20:10

Aww that's good you got your spa day at last Yellow, was this the one that was one postponed from last time? I'd wondered about my lack of leakage meaning if I'd have a measly milk supply, glad you mentioned that!

sazzlehopes · 01/06/2014 20:23

When I say amazing I realise I sound like a show off but I'm normally completely flat chested and worse after breast feeding my ds so I'm SO enjoying them while they last Grin

Loulou888 · 01/06/2014 21:25

I've not really had much of a problem with leaky boobs until nearer the end. When you take your bra off and find a wet patch (although small), crusty white bit on your nipple and wish you had put a pad on!

fedupofrainydays · 01/06/2014 21:36

sazzle I'm exactly the same. Got very upset when my boobs diminished to nothing after my son was born. I used to be a DD and ended up a small C. But they looked like someone had popped a balloon with a pin. Nothing on top. Now they are filling up again! So similar - my amazing is just full rather than spaniel ears!!

YellowWellies · 01/06/2014 22:13

I've gone straight from BF to pregnancy - I know its technically pregnancy not BF that knackers your boobs but I wonder what I'll be left with. I went from C to FF when preggers and feeding..... they aren't at my knees yet.

So I mangaged to face the scales today, as I feel in this last week like my bump has gone really big and iam in definite need of some bigger bras, so was dreading what the scales would say, but to my surprise ive only put 4lb on since my booking appointment so happy about that but dont really understand if iam getting so big why I haven't put on more, going to try my best to stay with the healthy eating from now till birth to keep the weight gain down, because I dont know how iam going to fit in exercise with a 14 month old and a new born.

Bugger I have an Uppababy Vista, it is totally fantastic. Got best review on Which 3 years ago when I bought mine. Not sure now, not a member of Which anymore.
It is so easy to push, very flexible & sturdy & HUGE shopping basket below.

YellowWellies · 02/06/2014 04:33

Buggerlugs I've a few pals with the vista from when I had J - 20 months in they're still going strong and v much loved. We got a trial subscription to Which online to check out the buggy reviews (and cancelled before you need to pay for it!) and also checked out the Mumsnet reviews.

Guess who's up with a red hot baby who just wants cuddles and comfort. Poor chap Sad . Will try to limit my sleep deprived ramblings.... yawn

fedupofrainydays · 02/06/2014 07:16

All my friends who have them love the vistas!

ExcitedCJ · 02/06/2014 07:20

Yellow poor you. FX you get some rest today.

My LO has been up around 6am for the last 5 days, I'm wrecked. Is 7am too much to ask?

Bugger my Uppa has done my DD, my SIL DD & some cousins for short periods of time. I will now get it back for DS & it's like new. Will just buy a new footmuff & a buggy board for DD.

In exciting & perfectly timed sling news Ergo 360 will launch in the UK in Sept. It is an Ergo that allows you to carry in 4 positions, including facing out (new for Ergo) but in the correct position for hip development. You can also use with the infant insert, so allows comfortable carrying from 0 - 3yrs old. I'm so excited, have name on a reservation list already. I have insert for original Ergo so don't need to purchase this again. My DD loved facing out in her carrier, so this should offer everything. :)

CJ! OMG to the new ergo!!!!! I'm so tempted but given it'll only get used for one am going to try to be good and stick with my one. Does that make the ergo 360 the only carrier that forward faces and keeps hips healthy?

Night waking was fine. He cuddled for twenty minutes and I managed to get him into the cot on first transfer attempt without waking. and he's still snoozing now. First timers remember those heist films where the hero (Indiana Jones for example) is trying to steal the valuable antique from the weighted booby trapped pedestal and needs to seamlessly transfer a stone of equal weight onto said pedestal without setting off the alarm? Practice those skills! For they will bring you sleep when transferring snuggly sleeping baby into their cot so you can sneak off to bed. That's one skill that really should be in the NHS classes!

Bugger argh cross post! Yes I had similar in the second trimester and was told its old blood as its brown and likely just from the cervix having a clear out as it builds a thick cervical mucus plug. Given your history call the MW for reassurance but am sure its fine hon x
