No, Haribo super mix. I think the tangfastics would be great for nausea though. I've been on sour skittles too.

PolytheneGirl · 01/06/2014 07:17

Well I've had no bloody sleep
Lay awake till gone 3am feeling incredibly nauseous. DH went to work at 6:20 and woke me up to say goodbye for some unknown reason! Then DS woke up at 6:30 wanting to get up and go. I feel like a zombie!

lindamagoo · 01/06/2014 09:05

I went back to bed at 8.15 but oh's dad turned up at 8.30! Seriously, who visits at that time on a Sunday bloody morning? Grrrrrrrr Angry

MademoiselleG · 01/06/2014 10:04

Linda that's just rude! Unbelievable!!

poly you made me crave feta last night! I HAD to have a nice crunchy green salad with cucumber, feta and a pungent mustardy dressing, with a side of toast, butter, marmite and thin slices of cheddar. (This baby will not be short on calcium!). Washed down with fosters radler with extra lemon: BLISS!!

Now I'm adding tangfastics, feta, olive and salt and vinegar crisps to my weekly delivery.

Anythibg 'pickle-style' is good: I also finished off the jar of capers and the one with cornichons last night!!

fancyacupoftea · 01/06/2014 10:25

mademoiselle next step pickled eggs!! That salad sounds amazing.

poly and linda so sorry you had shit nights.

Like tilly I have a shit load of work to do. If you see me posting random crap on here today tell me to bugger off and mark!

broodysnoopstie · 01/06/2014 11:25

meeting dp after work tonight in a pub with a lot of his friends. They will all ask why I'm not drinking. Feeling anxious about lieing. Confused Any ideas? Can't say I'm driving as we'll be in central London. .

lindamagoo · 01/06/2014 11:28

OH took the boys for a walk and he's came back with Marmite, I am now a very happy bunny Smile

lindamagoo · 01/06/2014 11:29

Could you get away with the "I'm on antibiotics" excuse broody? Or your just getting over a bad tummy bug?

PolytheneGirl · 01/06/2014 11:45

Just had DH on the phone telling me he's just had to fight off a man who was trying to stab him with a kitchen knife. This is going to sound awful but I really wish he hadn't told me. Sad

OP posts:
PolytheneGirl · 01/06/2014 11:46

He is fine btw. Thank god.

lindamagoo · 01/06/2014 11:50

Oh my god Poly, how awful. It's a scary world out there isn't it? I'm do glad dh is ok though, his nerves will be shot

PolytheneGirl · 01/06/2014 11:55

I feel awful. He obviously felt he needed to talk to me but I couldn't get any words out. I've now just snapped at DS and we are both in tears. Today is not going well Sad

lindamagoo · 01/06/2014 11:58

Aw big hugs to you Poly, it's not easy to cope when you are tired and emotional, tomorrow will be a better day

toots123 · 01/06/2014 12:12

Oh no poly thats awful! Hope he is ok. Scary world!

Broody could you get away with saying you were out last night and so hungover that you couldn't face another drink?

fancyacupoftea · 01/06/2014 12:43

Fucking hell Poly thank god he's okay, that sounds terrifying. Just concentrate on the fact that he's okay.

Broody just don't get involved in rounds and make sure you and DP gt your own drinks and have small glasses of lemonade that looks like a spirit and mixer. Or, if you like it, tonic water on its own.

MademoiselleG · 01/06/2014 13:02

Bloody hell poly , how terrifying!!! He's ok though. He's ok. All is well. Brew

linda what's the verdict on marmite then?!

So beans on toast with cheeeeeese is my new favourite (safe) food. Yum!

MademoiselleG · 01/06/2014 13:03

Broody I'd definitely go with the "ugh I'm so hung over, I can't possibly have another drink, but thanks!"
