spirael me too- is this a phantom pregnancy?! Having said that I didn't get any prior warning with ds1 or ds2 before labour started, no symptoms other than waters breaking or contractions which I guess are the obvious ones! So there is still hope. Maybe ;)

Good luck moobaloo x

Spirael · 28/05/2014 15:49

I'm pretty sure it's not a phantom pregnancy, as something inside keeps kicking me in the ribs and bouncing off my bladder! Though I admit it could be the mother of all worm infestations. Wink

randdom · 28/05/2014 18:13

As the week goes on I am resigning myself now to a Junebug rather than a maybie :p

My current prediction is the 6.6.14 we shall see if that is right :p

SicknSpan · 28/05/2014 18:34

Lol spirael at worms :) Would explain my appetite at least.

randdom a friend of mine is a bit "witchy" about pregnant women and told me that she had a feeling about the number 6 for me. I'd hoped that she meant it would be 6 days until I had the baby but that day has come and gone- even though I don't believe in any woo-ness I might still bet on 6.6.14 too :)

McRedHead · 28/05/2014 21:03

Well, I'm back again ladies.
Lovely lovely lovely to hear about (& see) so many bouncing babies and that there's still plenty of hand holding and encouragment!

I'm just back from a anxious 12week scan (prev MMC in Oct and MC in Feb). We had the amazing news of being 14weeks and having a perfectly healthy squirmy baby. So so happy.

Good luck for the last stage of your pg & birth. Get on those bouncing balls, get that curry and pineapple down and DTD if you can bear it! AND mostly enjoy all those squishy newborn snuggles when its your turn.

You on your new thread!!!

moas · 28/05/2014 22:21

Lovely scan mcRed - Congratulations!! I so admire you for being so strong and bouncing back, well done!

Picture makes me broody.

impatientlywaiting · 29/05/2014 00:12

Excellent news Mcred. I hope you have a happy, healthy and boring remaining 26 weeks of your pregnancy.

So pleased you've had that lovely news and thank you for coming back and letting us know about it. Xx

SicknSpan · 29/05/2014 16:13

40 weeks tomorrow. Have midwife appointment, do I ask for a sweep? Bit nervous about if it will be painful- I know there's lots more coming up with labour but it's the procedure itself I'm worried about. Never needed one with either ds1 or ds2, labour just started spontaneously. If you had one, what was it like?

Congratulations McRedHead- lovely news for you. Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy xx

moomin35 · 29/05/2014 20:10

Ooh please update afterwards sicknspan- I'm at the exact same stage and going for sweep on Saturday, have exact same questions!

randdom · 29/05/2014 21:30

I see my midwife on Tuesday and an planing on asking for a sweep. Age said when I saw her last week that she would be able to do one if favourable so fingers crossed!!

SicknSpan · 29/05/2014 23:34

Will report back!

randdom · 30/05/2014 06:37

Due date today finally!!

Horrible nights sleep and have woken up with a horrible ache in my left leg. Feeling a bit sorry for myself to be honest :(

moas · 30/05/2014 08:18

I had 3 sweeps and none of them were painful but they made me a bit light-headed. I think the last one really got things going, but waters had already broken then. I wouldn't worry if I'd already given birth, sicknspan, felt just like an internal examination to me. Good luck!

SicknSpan · 30/05/2014 09:38

Morning randdom. Im due today as well, your lone friend on the FB page! We are officially amongst the last of the pregnant Maybies- anyone else here on MN still waiting?

Hope your leg feels better- where is the pain?

Thought things were starting during the night but all quiet here this morning. Drat.

MW at 11 so will report back on sweep if I have one.

SicknSpan · 30/05/2014 09:39

Sorry and moomin35 - must reread thread before posting! X

3sthenew2 · 30/05/2014 12:49

Good news! after 6 frustrating over due days I'm pleased to announce baby Ronnie arrived weighing in at 8lb 5 oz's in the early hours of Wednesday morning after a very intense 2 hour labour. Number 3 was definitely more painful than labour 2 but then he was lb heavier than my other babies! Shock (i'm sure this was natures way of making sure I stop now.)
I definitely recommend investing in a Ewan the dream sheep to help babies settle into the world by the way, I'm using it on the the rare occasions that we put him down.
Good luck to those still waiting to meet their LO's

SicknSpan · 30/05/2014 13:02

Congratulations 3isthenew2! Hope you are recovering well.

Sweep done, not as bad as I'd feared but still v uncomfortable. She did say that my cervix was "Very very favourable" and that I am already 3 cm dilated. Plug came away at the same time so it sounds hopeful. But no sign of any labour yet!

Fingers crossed for you randdom and moomin35 that things get going soon.

moomin35 · 30/05/2014 13:08

Aw thanks for updating sicknspan :-) Sounds very hopeful that you're not far off...keep us posted! Grin

moobaloo · 31/05/2014 06:24

Quick update but very little battery left...

Baby Freddy was born on Thursday weighing 10 lbs 3 oz after a 73 hour induction! He was very comfy and did not want to come out! He was 40+10 when he finally made his appearance!

Birth story to follow when I get home from hospital later today

Love to all you awesome mummies and mummies to be!

moas · 31/05/2014 12:39

Congratulations 3sthenew2 and moo, 72 hours sounds like a total marathon! Well done! Gil has Fred as a middle name, really like it! The radio silence from sicknspan and bushbaby surely means more news is soon to come...

dobedobedo · 31/05/2014 17:06

congratulations to all those with new babies! its very hard to follow this thread these days.... I'm always having to do things one handed!

Jonquille · 01/06/2014 19:11

Congratulations Moobaloo and 3sthenew2 on your babies arrivals :-)
