Madrigals good luck with your scan- I was only 6+1 but so glad I had it as it now feels real and am also feeling less anxious

Chips & syrup.... Interesting...

I am incredibly bloated too eats magnum after huge dinner anyway

j200 · 14/05/2014 21:06

Oops I meant MmG good luck with scan

haquoi123 · 14/05/2014 21:06

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining! Em03 invited me as I'm about 4 weeks pg with my 1st and due mid Jan. Found out today and have an app. with my gp in 2 weeks. Apart from cramping I've got no symptoms so I'm finding it all v hard to believe. If it was just my choice I'd be shouting the news from the rooftops, but OH wants to be careful so just Mum knows

Saraswati · 14/05/2014 21:08

scoops hope it's all ok tomorrow! fingers crossed for you x

mademoiselle good luck too tomorrow!

All these early scans are exciting! I'm waiting 2 more weeks when I'll be just over 9 weeks, apparently if all is ok then chance of miscarriage drops to 3% or something. If DH would let me I'd go earlier though!

Mw in the morning so I get a lie in and only have to work a half day woohoo! Been hungry and knackered today rather than nauseous, so of course I've been mentalling about it. Bought a cb digi to do in the morning before mw, if it doesn't show 3+ I may freak out. haven't done one since day after bfp when I got 2-3 weeks so praying it's gone up (yes I know I'm crazy!) anyone else still testing? I haven't done one for about a week now I've been trying to restrain myself!

j200 · 14/05/2014 21:14

Sara it is a good idea to hold out on scan, my FC doctor said today that she thinks post 8 weeks is a more important indicator than 12 weeks so if all looks good then you are more than likely to have a healthy pregnancy.

I have another scan at 8.5 weeks so guess will tell people then if all looks good.

j200 · 14/05/2014 21:15

Sorry not more important than 12 weeks but just as important an indicator...

tams1uk · 14/05/2014 21:16

I've now done 4 tests, all positive, but just finding it so hard to believe, like you haquoi I've not had any symptoms apart from slight cramping and a certain lethargy that hits me at about 3pm. Have seen the gp, but just wish I had a bit more to go on. OH is being very cautious and refusing to get excited till it's confirmed, but that could be weeks away!!!!! I'm 5 weeks ATM. Reading about everyone going for early scans and quite tempted.... Who do you speak to about it? (Sorry, very naive newbie)

Good luck for those having them, and hope everything goes well for you, Scoops

j200 · 14/05/2014 21:19

Hi tams welcome! I only have early scans as I conceived on fertility treatment but you can get them done privately
