That's good to know, thanks Saras ... felt a bit bad that I was so good with my diet when ttc. And now I'm actually up the duff I can't stomach my 5 a day! Haven't eaten crisps for years but seems to be the major thing I want these past couple of weeks. Usually there's a least one thing I fancy eating each day but today there is nothing! Bluergh. Hope the meds kick in soon for you!

Sorry about DHs friend by the way - I missed your comment yest Thanks

Saraswati · 22/05/2014 18:55

Thanks rpopz I'm a veggie who hasn't eaten a vegetable in about 2 weeks!! I've always been so careful about a healthy diet, do loads of yoga, used to be a vegan and I feel like I've ruined my body when I need to be the healthiest! I just figure I can make up for it later when I feel up to it. If you get bad do go to your gp and there's lots of good advice on the hyperemesis thread, they have been really supportive.

lulu I can't stand the smell of anybody especially DH, his breath in the morning makes me retch. The other night he came in from drinking (not very much though) and I walked into the kitchen to say hi and the smell of alcohol breath from afar was enough to make me run and throw up straight away!! I don't think my sickness would be half as bad if I could walk around with a peg on my nose!

haquoi123 · 22/05/2014 18:59

Oh my, I crashed out today! You know those naps that are muscle tremblers, drool and really hard to get out of? That was me.

Sorry to hear about your scan English but so so glad there is a positive side to it. Keeping my fx for you!

little don't let the GP's ignore you. Can you make an appointment with another one? There are services for young mothers that should be made available for you. Good luck!

Foxtrot7459 · 22/05/2014 19:35

Tiredness has really kicked in for me now - struggling to stay awake and concentrate at my desk after about 3pm. I have an hours commute and the past few days I've really struggled with the drive home. Really hope this goes away quickly as not sure how I will cope for 7 more months Sad.

Also been feeling sick in the evenings the last few days, after celebrating being symptomless I feel karma was come back to slap me in the face!

LulusMiniEgg · 22/05/2014 19:43

Oh no sara! But you seen to be suffering so badly with ms, I'm not surprised. Your poor DH! Saying that mine is going our for curry and beers after work - not sure how I will handle that!

I'm ok if I keep eating! Started off with a fab toned post wedding body and slowly morphing into a bloated mess! Ah well Gillian and her 30 day shred will be waiting for me in feb! Has anyone else done that? It's amazing for toning and only takes 20 mins x

Saraswati · 22/05/2014 19:55

lulu did 30 day shred in the run up to my wedding and on and off since, I love her! I'll definitely get back on that when I've had the baby as it's so quick and easy to do at home. Can't believe I haven't done any exercise since my bfp I'm just so tired and sick I can't face it. I'm going to claim the bloat is baby even though it's only the size of grape! Did you get married recently? Honeymoon baby?!

LulusMiniEgg · 22/05/2014 20:04

So glad you love her! It's the best! We'll have to get a post natal Gillian board started!

Yeah we got married in feb, started trying on honeymoon and got pregnant 2nd month when we got back! DH was sleeping in spare room with throat infection when I ovd! Came in for a morning quickie and here we are! Mental! Feel guilty that it happened so quick but all my friends seemed to get BFP after 2nd month or 1 year of trying, no inbetween. Just lucky I guess x

Saraswati · 22/05/2014 20:43

lulu definitely up for a post natal Gillian thread (god doesn't that seem so far away?!) ah congratulations you'll have a baby before your first anniversary! We've been married 18 months but a bfp after 1 month, know what you mean about feeling guilty, I'm waiting for something to go wrong because we couldn't possibly be lucky enough for a quick bfp and problem free pregnancy. But then I'm a crazy worrier I should just relax and go with the flow!

fancyacupoftea · 22/05/2014 21:07

Lulu I got married in Feb too and started trying on honeymoon! Month 3 for us though.
I bloody love Gillian, I just wish she loved me. DH and I quote her all the time.

I'm a Gillian fan too!! Def on my list for after the baby. I've also brought Tracy Andersons pregnancy DVD, so once I'm a bit further along I'll get going with that.

Saraswati · 22/05/2014 21:22

Don't phone it in! (Argh I used to do it at 6am every morning I had to turn it on mute after the first few weeks!)

LulusMiniEgg · 22/05/2014 21:31

'Pain is fear leaving the body' we can use her wise words in labour! Haha!

Yay Fancy loved my feb wedding! It was such a sunny and almost quite warm day and no worrying over the weather. Whee did you get married?x

MademoiselleG · 22/05/2014 21:50

Is this Gillian fabulousness available online? I think I really need to go to the gym or stop eating. I've put on 4 pounds already... How is that possible? I'm going to be the size of a house.

fancyacupoftea · 22/05/2014 22:26

Yes it's quite cheap on amazon - just search for 30 day shred. Probably a bit hardcore for preggos. I have a pregnancy DVD - not Tracy Anderson though. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be but it was loooong - compared to Gillian's 20 mins, this 50 min video felt extreme. I was hurting for days though!

"I want you to feel like you're about to die!" Classic Gillian.

Lulu same with us for the wedding - it had rained all week but the day itself was gorgeous! Obviously not boiling but definitely not freezing. We had a London wedding. What about you?

I love reading this thread. So much to catch up on and I get kind of sad when I get to the bottom of the page! Anyway, night night ladies! X

Glenpip77 · 23/05/2014 02:02

Very scary night for us tonight. My DH had to rush me in to A&E with contraction like cramps and heavy bleeding with a lot of clots. After 2 hrs I passed a 5cm diameter lump of clots (sorry if tmi) and my cramps subsided and bleeding started to slow - at that point I though that was it. Amazingly after examination it appears that my cervix is still firmly shut and I have been diagnosed with a threatened miscarriage, and they expect me to keep bleeding for a bit but at the moment this is not a miscarriage Smile although we have been warned it could turn in to a full blown miscarriage at some point.

We're now back at home to wait for our scan in the morning to see if we do have a healthy bean or not - totally freaking out so sleep will not be easy tonight! Keeping everything crossed (literally) but not getting my hope up too much just yet.

ChaircatMiaow · 23/05/2014 03:47

Oh glen, you poor thing. What a stressful night. Have everything crossed for you xx

Camsie30 · 23/05/2014 03:52

Oh glenpip how terrifying for you. Rest up and try to keep calm. Sending love and positive thoughts xx

Saraswati · 23/05/2014 06:33

Oh glen how scary for you! I've got everything crossed that all is well at your scan this morning, sending you lots of positive thoughts Thanks

I haven't bought any pregnancy exercise DVDs yet, I'm thinking about Tracy anderson and the shiva rea yoga one (I love her) I'm also going to do some actually classes. Anyone else bought or tried any yet?

mademoiselle 30 day shred is on YouTube, I wouldn't attempt it pregnant but it's there for free for after you have the baby.

Starbright24 · 23/05/2014 06:39

Oh glen. I do hope you are ok and that it goes well at the scan today.

I bought a yoga dvd off amazon yesterday. Can't remember name (that's helpful) it should arrive at the weekend along with a pilates one. I nedd to do something. I'm such a blob!

Loobyloo893 · 23/05/2014 06:47

Thinking of you Glen. How scary for you. Keeping everything crossed that all is ok. Thanks

EnglishGirlsReturned · 23/05/2014 06:49

Oh Glen, I'm sorry to read about your scary night. I really hope that your scan goes well today. I'll be thinking of you.

I had a horrible night, miscarriage dreams. Not feeling particularly positive today. Going to find some meditations on YouTube today and try to install some positivity back into myself!

I don't think I'll be doing any exercise until I reach 8 weeks. I'm too scared. I carried on running last time and that didn't end well. So there's a sex and exercise ban until 8weeks at least! DH loves it... NOT!!

english no exercise or dtd for me yet either! I know it's irrational but I just can't face it and would always blame myself if something happened. DH is being very good, he's scared stiff too so hasn't really mentioned sex plus he's busy and devastated about his friend so I think it's the last thing on his mind.

Had an amazing sleep after taking my ms meds, they say may cause drowsiness on them, I think I slipped into a coma! Lots of crazy dreams too then woke up to be sick. I guess they may take a while to kick in. I'm dragging my carcass to the weekend -3 whole days of sleep! Anyone got any nice plans? I'm avoiding all friends until 12 weeks now, they keep guessing and I don't want to tell yet!
