Aww awesome! Will go check it out :) I have a dd already so this sounds interesting :) thanks for sharing lulu

rumisyum · 21/05/2014 20:53

Lulu that's wonderful. And I think it must be possible to love a blob - that's the only way I can describe how I feel toward my little star!

All the best of luck to everyone having scans tomorrow! Sending good vibes to you all, english, monstamio and glenpip.

saras that's such terrible news. I'm so sorry. Lots of love to you, your friend & his family.

Right, I'm off on my tropical holiday. 2 weeks! Grin I'll see you ladies on a new thread by then I expect - I doubt I'll have much by way of internet time/connection where I'll be. It'll be nice to make my parents' (and parents'-in-law, who are coming on holiday with us as well) day/week/year with this news though. First grandchild! On both sides! They'll be completely ecstatic.

Take care, ladies!

Monstamio · 21/05/2014 20:58

Have a wonderful time Rum!

LulusMiniEgg · 21/05/2014 21:04

Have an amazing time Rum - your parents will be so thrilled!

Starbright24 · 21/05/2014 21:04

Enjoy your holiday rum.

I'm joining the bed and kindle brigade

lindamagoo · 21/05/2014 21:05

rum have an amazing time Smile

fancyacupoftea · 21/05/2014 21:16

Also in the bed and kindle/Harry potter on TV crew.

So sorry for your sad news saras. Really makes you stop and think and not take anything for granted.

mademoiselle was so amazing to see your little blob!

rum have an amazing holiday and enjoy telling the parents!

Can I talk boobs? How are your baps everyone? Mine have been sore and hard with some nip changes - a cup size bigger. Except this evening there's no pain or soreness at all? Is it normal for it to just come and go?

Camsie30 · 21/05/2014 21:41

When I opened the document everything was in Spanish!! LOL.
Think i've added myself....

Camsie30 · 21/05/2014 21:42

fancyacupoftea I have one big boob. The other one is normal. Which is odd and hilarious

MademoiselleG · 21/05/2014 22:07

Haha Camsie , that's the best symptom I've ever heard of! And fancy , a WHOLE cup up? not jealous at all I'm sure waves of pain/relief are fine. It's the same with ms!

rum enjoy your holiday!

saras , thinking of you and your dh's friend. Weirdly, I regularly picture this happening to me one day and my visualisations are so strong I done times make myself incredibly upset. I can't even begin to imagine how absolutely horrendous it must be for them and their loved ones. Makes me sick just thinking about it. I really hope that life dishes out a massive dose of miracle to that family! And are your meds not working? You poor thing...

I told line manager yesterday, she was brilliant! Also discussed evil colleague's latest antics and it sounds like she will get a formal warning - I feel like a snitch but at least now I know I wasn't just making things up in my head: she really IS a massive bitch!

On that note, I shall be kindling along with you all Grin

MademoiselleG · 21/05/2014 22:07

Oh and Lulus , writing craft books would be my dream job!! Checking yours out now Smile

fancyacupoftea · 21/05/2014 22:14

I really want to know what this cowbag says and does mademoiselle!

RPopz · 21/05/2014 22:49

Have a great hol Rum! Super jealous Envy

Fancy my boobs have been sore since ovulation!!! Its that kind of down the sides pain iykwim. Worse in the mornings and some days I don't notice it as much as others. They feel fuller and I've had to let the straps out on a few of my bras! But no whole cupsize yet!! My bff went from a B to an E when she was preg Shock Have noticed my nips are a bit tender today but nothing major. I guess preg boobs are like everything else - different for everyone! Enjoy your new volumptuousness Wink

EnglishGirlsReturned · 21/05/2014 23:03

Saras I'm so sorry. It's so upsetting that tragic thugs like that happen to good people. Sending lots of love your way and theirs.

My boobs are def bigger. Put on my lovely agent provocateur bra yesterday and had sever overspill! The soreness also comes and goes and is mainly around the sides.

Lulu your books are exactly the kind of things I loved when I was younger Smile Would love doing crafty things like that with my future children!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 21/05/2014 23:04

*things not thugs! Bollocks!

Glenpip77 · 22/05/2014 04:10

Sara that's awful news - sending best wishes to your and your friends family. ????

Rum - holiday sounds great, have a fab time ??

MademoiselleG - great news on your boss being supportive and your toxic colleague about to get what she deserves. She sounds like she's being a right moo if they are at the point of giving her a formal warning - surely won't do her any favours in her application for your job (think that is what you said was likely) which would be a major bonus Smile

Fancy - with my daughter I went from a DD to a G cup when I was pregnant and breast feeding and was sore for the first 3 months with it so completely normal - my left was noticeably bigger than my right too.....still is tbh as I never stopped producing milk after DD (who is 3 on 30th may).

I'm wide awake after having been woken up by DH's snoring, he is still doing a good impression of a Dyson now Hmm If he keeps this up then he might be having a visit to the hospital himself.....grrrr!!

On the plus side bleeding and cramping seems to have died down a bit so fingers crossed - thanks for all the well wishes x. Good luck monstamio & English and anyone else with scans tomorrow, let's hope for sticky beans Smile

CallingAllEngels · 22/05/2014 06:05

saras I'm so sorry to hear that. ((Hugs))

Good luck to everyone with a scan today.

I was in bed at 9 with a book and snoring by 9.10. Didn't even hear DH come home from his music lesson.

Told a few more colleagues yesterday. My stomach is enormous by the end of the day! And had to sit down during one of my drama lessons...the students will cotton on soon since I always give them a hard time about doing the same and call the, lazy!

Saraswati · 22/05/2014 06:37

Morning all, thanks for the support, just got to keep my fingers crossed for him and chin up I guess.

mademoiselle I tend to get very upset by these things as it brings up a lot of feelings about losing my dad so young and seeing my mum struggling with the loss over the years, also her dad died young and it's my greatest fear that's it's a pattern in my family and the same thing will happen to my children. But you've just got to live life to the fullest and try not to think about the worst. Forgot to pick up the meds yesterday with everything so wil finally get them today!

Good luck to the ladies with scans today!

fancy mine are sore and swollen but kinda on and off. My bras are tight and some I can't wear anymore but I don't think I would have gone up a cup size yet (which I'm a bit disappointed with!) nipples have gone big and weird looking :s

fancyacupoftea · 22/05/2014 07:06

Good luck those getting scanned today!!

Good luck to all those having scans today!

On bra sizes, I have definitely gone up a cup size but then I was on the smaller side to begin with. I haven't been able to wear any of my own bras for 2 weeks (I'm 7 weeks today Smile ). I'm having to wear DW's bras instead! One advantage I have I guess Wink

cheshirem2b · 22/05/2014 07:43

Good luck to those having scans today!

I hope my boobs don't grow much! I was 34HH to start with! Shock that's too tight and I'm in a J cup bra now but boobs seem to have stopped expanding! Thank goodness!

haquoi123 · 22/05/2014 07:52

Sara I'm so sorry to hear your news and really hope that all of you are able to get the support you need in this really difficult time. You probably know, Marie Curie and MacMillan offer support to those affected by a close one's diagnosis so just realise it's there if you need it. A very close friend was diagnosed and passed away a couple of years ago and it took me ages to realise I had the right to feel upset and in her case, grieve. I had thought I could only be there just to support her family. I'm thinking of you at this time.

Those of you with saw boobs, I discovered those crop top bras (£5 from Sainsburys, but also elsewhere). They're ok on support but are so so comfortable and not too expensive to top up up on.

No symptoms here still, 5+5... Kind of wish some would arrive... Famous last words... Although I love my bean very much and talk to it already.

Good Luck For all your scans today and don't forget to vote!

KeepOnKeepingOnAndOnAndOnAndOn · 22/05/2014 07:58

Good luck on scans ladies!

Enjoy your hols Rum :)

Camsie- I have had that issue with first pregnancy! This time they both seem to be growing - both bloody hurt too!

lindamagoo · 22/05/2014 08:42

Anyone else struggling to sleep? I'm so tired all the time but as soon as it's lights out I can't sleep Hmm And today I have really bad heartburn, feeling really crap Hmm
