Its completely normal to be shaking and upset, it isnt stupid to have got excited, it's not all over. Lots of women have a bleed. Fingers crossed for you tooth

RPopz · 19/05/2014 17:16

Oh Tooth I'm so pleased you left work and DH came for you. Really hoping everything is ok xxx Thanks xxx

toothachereturns · 19/05/2014 17:31

Thank you ladies. Doc says it's a waiting game now. If the bleeding stops (its fresh red spotting now) then I should go for a blood test next week. I know deep down that this has not been a sticky bean. Sad

We will pick ouselves up and try again when the time comes.
Thanks again ladies. x

MademoiselleG · 19/05/2014 17:39

Tooth I am so sorry. Please keep us updated. I have everything crossed that there will be a happy ending after all ThanksThanks

cheshire and linda that's amazing news! How funny we are all dated at least a few days less pg than what we thought... Congratulations!

haquoi123 · 19/05/2014 17:51

tooth fingers crossed for you, you're not stupid at all xx

haquoi123 · 19/05/2014 17:53

Sorry, tooth that was in response to your last post. Really wishing you all the best x

Saraswati · 19/05/2014 17:55

So sorry tooth I have everything crossed for you Thanks

RPopz · 19/05/2014 18:00

I really hope this isn't the end for you Tooth. I'm sure I've read that spotting is more likely to be something else than a mc. I guess its hard to think about that when you're going through it. Take it easy tonight x

lindamagoo · 19/05/2014 18:02

Tooth can you not get seen at the EPU before next week? I hope the spotting doesn't come to anything. Mines was fresh red at the weekend but baby was ok at the scan today. I so hope you have the same outcome Thanks

deuscat · 19/05/2014 18:03

So sorry tooth. It's totally understandable how upset you were earlier. This is not the time to beat yourself up. Hope you're getting lots of RL support.

Scoops good to hear from you with such a positive attitude!

Linda and Cheshire great to hear you saw heartbeats!

Welcome and congrats to newbies.

Saras hope the meds work and you start to feel better soon.

My ms has started to kick in and I've already worked out it's worst when I'm hungry. Nibbling biscuits seems to help. That won't help my ever-expand waistline though!

So tired even though I had a full 8 hours last night. Flopped on the sofa about to nap.

KeepOnKeepingOnAndOnAndOnAndOn · 19/05/2014 18:42

Fingers x for you tooth.
Just take it easy.

LiveInABox · 19/05/2014 18:48

Great news Linda & Cheshire, thinking of you tooth and good luck for anyone else with imminent scans.

Finally got my booking in appointment today, it's for 23rd June when I'll be 11+4. Seems ages away but to be fair I'm on holiday for 2 weeks prior to that. Lady on the phone was a bit snotty telling me it would be "impossible" to get in before my hol. I was also concerned about getting my scan in during the timeframe for the nuchal fold measurement, she told me that the appointment for that is already booked, it will be well within the timeframe (before 14wks apparently) but they don't tell you until booking in - helpful!!
Anyway, feels like an age away so I'm glad we've got an early scan booked for 30th May (paying privately) as I don't think I can wait so long with nothing happening!

cheshirem2b · 19/05/2014 18:57

tooth I hope your spotting stops & all is well. I agree with others and maybe see about a referral to EPU?

Thanks to everyone for your comments... Keep looking at the picture... Amazing!

fancyacupoftea · 19/05/2014 18:57

Got my fingers crossed for you Tooth. Same to you Suz - hope it was just an innocent little bleed.

Congrats Cheshire and Linda!

Saras really glad you got the medication, sounds like you were really having a nasty time of it.

Tooth, hope everything works out for you.
Liveinabox, with DS I was given a really late booking appointment. I received a letter with scan appointment before I'd even had booking in. I went toGP today and he booked me an appointment with midwife for next week when I'll be 5+6. Seems really early to me but didn't think to question it when I was there (too busy trying to stop DS rifling through cupboards!).
Anyone else had a really early booking in?

lindamagoo · 19/05/2014 19:04

I didn't get a picture Cheshire, I asked for one but she said they don't do them at the EPU, would love to have shown my boys the wee bean

EnglishGirlsReturned · 19/05/2014 19:05

Thinking of you Tooth. Big hugs, I know how hard it is.

Saras, glad you've got some meds for the ms, hopefully it'll kick in soon.

LMSunshine · 19/05/2014 19:09

Can I join please. 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow, edd 6th January, 2nd child. This pregnancy is already very different to the previous, this time i'm eating loads, very tired and have ms. Congratulations to Linda and Cheshire. I hope you are getting support in rl tooth, sending you lots of positive vibes.

cheshirem2b · 19/05/2014 19:29

linda I didn't expect one but the sonographer printed one for us which was a lovely touch. I've been told basically that spotting may be one of those things for me as left over implantation bleed disperses... No other sign of any reason for the spotting.

sunshineandbiscuits · 19/05/2014 19:41

I'm really excited for you both, Linda & Chesire ( squeal ), so glad your scans went well.

My heart is going out to you, tooth, I am crossing fingers, toes and everything else for you. Thanks

Hope you start feeling better soon, Saraswati, it sounds like you are having a truly awful time of it.

My ms kicked in today, made worse by being stuck in a training course all day. Had a little pile of digestive biscuits in front of me which I kept nibbling on. Not very subtle, I fear. Going to a beer festival now, not sure how much "designated driver" will stand up as an excuse, especially as we will be cycling there...

lindamagoo · 19/05/2014 19:47

Hi LM and congrats to you Thanks

Cheshire they told me today that it probably was the cervical polyp they found on Saturday night that caused my bleed, apparently the slightest little thing can irritate it so I've to expect more, especially after dtd

RPopz · 19/05/2014 20:03

Looby I had booking app at 6 weeks and it would have been 5 weeks if I hadn't had to rearrange the original app due to it being stupidly short notice!

Loobyloo893 · 19/05/2014 20:06

Thanks Rpopz, it just seemed really early to me. Guess it must just depend on the midwife and the area (we've moved since having DS so no idea how things work here)

CallingAllEngels · 19/05/2014 20:46

Just back from 8w scan and all good. Strong heartbeat and measured 8w so new edd of 29th Dec. Exhausted after having to get through this day - thank god my next scan is 8.30am rather than pm!

Minibagel · 19/05/2014 21:15

Yay Calling that's brilliant news, congratulations. A NYE baby perhaps?!
