Me too. I'm having lots of cramps. Sad

fancyacupoftea · 18/05/2014 17:44

I plan on trying all the alcohol free beers and deciding on my favourites! I love lager so looking forward to getting into the booze free ones!

Why did I not think of alcohol free lager or wine? I could have had a little tipple for my birthday. Oh well I'll keep it in mind for BBQ season so I don't feel left out

ChineseFireball · 18/05/2014 18:31

Happy birthday Linda - hope you've had a lovely day. And best of luck for tomorrow.

Hello and congratulations to the newbies!

Not done a fat lot today really. We went out for a curry last night for a friend's birthday which was good and once I started eating I didn't feel sick any more Smile Today I went to tesco (boak) and have sorted out DS' clothes, and found my maternity clothes from the loft. Looking at them I don't know how I managed last time. Some of them are awful! The under bump jeans just look uncomfortable. Think I may have to shop.

8+1

Hey Everyone! :)

Dec2013mummy · 18/05/2014 19:12

Wow is much to catch up on all the time!! By the time I've caught up I never have chance to reply!!

Well had an early scan today.... They couldn't find the heart beat to start with but after a lot of moving around etc they found it!! Ds was watching in his pushchair and went mad kicking his legs and smiling when he heard the heartbeat!! So cute Smile

Sorry I can't reply to everyone's posts but hello newbies and congrats.. Happy birthday Linda and good luck to all those with scans approaching Grin

KeepOnKeepingOnAndOnAndOnAndOn · 18/05/2014 19:39

Wow dec how lovely!!!

Happy birthday linda

Ikkleme · 18/05/2014 19:45

As a lot of us are experiencing cramps is it ok to use a hot water bottle to ease the pain? Xx

Dec how exciting Smile love hearing about all these scans, I'm kind of excited about mines tomorrow as I've convinced myself everything will be ok Smile

Starbright24 · 18/05/2014 19:58

Yay dec how great to hear a beat :)

Alcohol free beer and lemonade to make shandy. I love shandy in summer :) I so didn't think of that!!

fancyacupoftea · 18/05/2014 20:07

How exciting for you Dec! And your son's reaction sounds so cute!!

What great news, Dec!! Smile

Dec2013mummy · 18/05/2014 20:31

Thanks everyone. It also shows that even if a heartbeat can't be found straight away it doesn't mean it's definitely not there. (Not that it's not very scary!)

I really do have everything crossed for all of those with scans coming up. Linda I will be thinking of you tomorrow.

lindamagoo · 18/05/2014 21:41

Thank you Dec. I'm off for an early night and hope I can sleep, I'll be going to the scan alone tomorrow as oh's stupid work won't give him the morning off Angry

Brummiegirl15 · 18/05/2014 22:03

Only just caught up as been at sisters hen do - failed miserably at keeping secret. The antibiotics ruse doesn't seem to work anymore...

Just wanted to say thinking of you tomorrow Linda

cheshirem2b · 18/05/2014 22:08

Thinking of you tomorrow Linda! Good luck!
My DH is fortunately self-employed so he's rearranged his appointments to come with me... I need him given how much of a wreck I was with mw on Friday!
Off to bed early to get some sleep to prepare myself for what could be...

toothachereturns · 18/05/2014 22:18

Good luck tomorrow Linda. x

Scoops76 · 18/05/2014 22:26

Thanks for all the lovely messages. Doing ok - clinging to the fact that the fertility doc told us in jan that it was 'impossible' for us to concieve naturally so although not going to get our baby this time at least proved the docs wrong - on wards and upwards ;) good luck all you lovely ladies for your jan 15 bundles of joy ;)

ChaircatMiaow · 18/05/2014 22:49

Morning ladies! Just spoke to midwife and am booked in for first appt at birth centre in August. It's still aaaaaages away Smile

Loobyloo893 · 19/05/2014 06:32

Morning all. I'm saying a very tentative hello to you all. After 10 months ttc#2 we seem to have got there Smile BFP on Thursday (and another check this morning).
Still not really sunk in,I'm trying not to get my hopes up (and failing miserably) as had two early miscarriages before having DS. No symptoms really yet, feeling bit queasy and a bit of boob soreness but nothing much. Hope you're all feeling well this morning x

Loobyloo893 · 19/05/2014 06:33

Due Jan 22nd

Saraswati · 19/05/2014 06:37

scoops your positive attitude is amazing! you will get your baby and prove those doctors wrong! best of luck to you Thanks

Good luck today linda

Hello to newbies, sorry not to catch up with everyone. The last few days my ms has been awful and my bf was staying so I was trying to hide it. She kept questioning DH I think she's guessed but I won't see her now until I can tell her after 12 weeks, I can't wait to start telling people! (If I live through this ms that is)

Anyone know when you should see the gp about ms? Yesterday I threw up about 5 times, kept down some squash but that was about it, nothing seems to help it. Not looking forward to work this week!
