Hi ladies!
thought I would pop over and say hello. Just got my bfp yesterday with our first but super excited (and anxious)

Edd jan 20th
Do I wait a few weeks before seeing gp? Im only 4 weeks(ish)

Also, we go on our family holiday to orlando next week. Would love to keep it a secret but cant see it happening if im not drinking or going on rides... any advice?!

Saraswati · 16/05/2014 06:36

Thanks all, slept well so feeling more positive today, if it gets really bad I'll go to gp straight away though! Yesterday was definitely a hormone surge day, my boobs were on fire so I think that was causing all the sickness.

Aw mademoiselle two hearts! That made me well up!

english I'll be going to royal berkshire hospital in reading. It's my local hospital so don't get a choice really. They have a mw led unit that I've chosen but it's next to the delivery suite should anything go wrong. Their transfer to delivery suite for first time mums is 40% so I know it's likely I'll be transferred but I'd like to try the mw led unit first. Where are you moving to in the uk? Hope the move all goes to plan.

Is anyone suffering bad diahrrea ? I was up a lot last night with stomach pains (indigestion) and have had diahharea all yesterday and all through the night. I am going to have to leave work and go to the docs as I am so tired and so ill. I do think its a big as dd has the same :/ I am just worried it will affect my pregnancy as I am only 7 week :(

Scoops I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you're getting the support you need xxx

toots123 welcome & congrats. Im also 4 wks, edd 17th Jan. I initially made an app with my gp (without explaining why), closest date in 2 Weeks, but then rang again and asked what to do if pregnant. The gave me the no for the birthing unit who are seeing me in 3 weeks.

I've told husband and Mum and best friend in the US but we're not sure when to tell other family. But I'm working in Italy in a few weeks staying with a host family so depending on ms I might have to tell them. Maybe keep it on a need to know basis?

Can anyone explain stuff about stats and abbreviations? I'm working some out but others are v confusing!

CallingAllEngels · 16/05/2014 08:12

scoops I'm so sorry. ((hugs))

tried to get an early night last night but lay awake with my head going full steam ahead for an hour. Gave up and got back up and realised I was starving. Boobs were agony everytime I moved.

DS slept through again...I could get used to this!

that sucks keepon . Try not to worry and stay hydrated.

Hi toots . Welcome.

Scan on Monday!

7+5 today Smile

Hi toots, good to see you over here Smile

English good luck with the move today, I guess it's time for a name change for you Smile

Re-dreams, the raunchy dodger ones seem to have stopped since I told oh about them Hmm now having strange/scary dreams Confused

Dec2013mummy · 16/05/2014 08:54

Scoops I am so sorry to hear your news. Sending over big hugs. Xx

linda I had a go at my husband this morning... He asked why and it was because he was so so horrible in my dream, but it was so realistic that I thought it had really happened!! Oops. All he said was it's about time he was horrible to me because he is being so nice to me at the minute! Hormones hay!

lindamagoo · 16/05/2014 09:03

Dec when I was pregnant the last twice I had continuos dreams about OH leaving me and cheating on me and spent most of the 9 months falling out with him about it, lol. I hope for his sake they don't start up again this time

cheshirem2b · 16/05/2014 09:18

2 hours until mw apt! Hurray!
After my little panic yesterday there is no discharge today to be worried about and I must confess I'm feeling a bit sick still so I fear that it is ms finally kicking in!

Glad I'm not the only one with weird dreams. linda I might have stolen your raunchy ones, I got to see the school's 'silver fox' in the nudey but somehow turned him down! He didn't disappoint...ahem! I can never look him in the eye again.

MelMc73 · 16/05/2014 09:50

Sorry to hear your news scoops Thanks.....take care xx

MelMc73 · 16/05/2014 09:59

Wow Mademoiselle what awesome news!! I'd love it if we had twins lol. Apparently it is more common for us older ladies to have multiple births lol! I am so bloated after only 5 weeks I feel like it might be twins lol!

Congrats toots!! and Welcome aboard!

Ladies with ms - I heard that ginger is good for easing nausea. I have stocked up on ginger tea (pukka 3 ginger is the best) and also ginger nuts which is just an excuse to eat biscuits all day

Not had any nausea - yet! Headaches - yes. Constipation - yes. Waking up in the middle of the night - yes. Grrrr.

lindamagoo · 16/05/2014 10:07

Made are you having twins?

EnglishGirlAbroad · 16/05/2014 10:17

Scoops, I'm sending you a massive hug. It really is so sad. I hope you have someone to give you a big squeeze in real life. Take time to look after yourself. Hugs

Had some pink cm this morning, worrying that I'm heading for mc number 2 Sad. Not a lot I can do. Stuck in the car driving back. Long day ahead.
Trying to think about it too much. I can't change the way things will turnout but I'm hoping that it's nothing. Positive vibes my way please.

Think I'll change to EnglishGirlReturns!

Sara's, royal berks is one of my locals, along with Frimley or Wexham park (massive no no!). If I get that far.
Hope your ms is better today Smile

MademoiselleG · 16/05/2014 10:23

Positive vibes all the way English and happy moving day!

I'm definitely not having twins - phew!

Just registered with gp, have lots had bits to read and he was super nice. I'm all referred with UCH now and he's actively encouraged me to go for another early scan in 2 weeks, just because...ah well, if I must Wink

Enjoy the sunshine
