You never seem to get a full house with motherhood. Pals that struggled to conceive often had amazing births. Those that conceived easily could have horrendous sickness. Whereas for me I find conception, pregnancy (never sick) and BF easy but natural birth, carrying to term and having a baby without severe allergies - didn't come naturally last time. No one seems to fly through everything with ease - on balance I'd rather have a more complicated birth than not be able to BF as its just one day. But don't go beating yourself up if one element (conception, MS, carrying to term, labour, feeding, bonding, getting your figure back, having a 'sleeper' etc) doesn't go to plan - to get a full house 10\10 everything as you wished is very rare. But women compare ourselves against that perceived ideal.
