Hope you're nice and comfortable now Sasseh.

I'm wondering what to do about bras at the moment. I normally wear a 30F and well fitting ones tend to be expensive and not easy to get. I'm not even five weeks yet but already have only one bra that I fit into (a 30G one I used to wear if I had water retention before AF). I'm wondering how much more they'll grow and whether it's worth getting more this size or waiting to see if they get bigger or if my band size will change soon.

I'd like some to sleep in too but mostly those seem to be sold by dress size and I won't get one that fits across them and underneath.

StetsonsAreCool · 21/04/2014 22:57

Peace - I'm getting random pains when I move too quickly or turn over. I think it's just general stretching/loosening of things.

No MS, but I didn't really have it last time either. I was mildly nauseous from about week 12 to about 16, but no actual sickness. Fx for the same this time! No real symptoms at all apart from the cramping this week, plus the massive amount of bloating. I'm back to work Thursday, and I really think I'm going to need to dig out my old maternity work trousers to be comfy!

ffallada · 22/04/2014 06:01

Anyone else doing silly things to avoid MS?
I'm up at 5am, munching rich tea biscuits in bed, with hubby snoring beside me. I figure since I lost three hours yesterday afternoon to an unplanned nap and that moving makes me nauseous the best way to get work done is to do it in bed early.
I'm only at 6 weeks this seems like madness already

SassehMonsta · 22/04/2014 06:25

Had some bonkers dreams last night, including a nightmare involving weeping angels (Dr Who). Not the greatest!!

Interview today for a job I don't think I really want, but I'm going along anyway in case anything goes wrong with little un and I need a job to fall back on. Booo.

SassehMonsta · 22/04/2014 06:31

Oh yes, anyone else just stopped doing things like housework and let the house get into a right state? I certainly have - but I just can't face it, km so tired!

espa · 22/04/2014 07:09

onemore I too have a long haul flight at 8/10 weeks. Don't know what I was thinking in the first place agreeing to a 12 hour flight, now I think I'm even more stupid! Hoping to see midwife before I go.

Our holiday is a last child free one for a few years... We're off to Mauritius. Can't wait (other than the flight part)! We got the taste for all inclusive island holidays on our honeymoon, I think next year might be a struggle without one...haha.

espa · 22/04/2014 07:30

Oh and my longest flight so far was about 8 hours... Breathe...

I'm heading to Malta in 3 weeks! Well nearly two. I cannot wait! 4 hour flight. Home one night and early in morning a train to London for a wedding. Eeeeeek

Treaclepie19 · 22/04/2014 08:18

I agree sasseh, although DH has done all the housework as the gp told me to rest and not do any work/shopping/anything.

Also yeah, was nearly sick just brushing my teeth. On the ginger biscuits. I'm only 4+6!

littlegreengloworm · 22/04/2014 08:53

Hello, I've name changed and due 8th December. Have a little boy. Can I join the list?

Hope everyone is feeling well today.

PolytheneGirl · 22/04/2014 08:58

Sasseh I have done precisely nothing over the bank holiday weekend! DH is back at work today so I suppose I ought to do a bit! Sad

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 22/04/2014 09:21

Oh, here is the constipation Hmm is it ok to take Senokot?

Minion · 22/04/2014 09:23

peace I took it! only one instead of two as I was at in laws and needs must.
However I've bought some fybogel till I can get in docs as it says it's ok for pregnancy.
I've also stocked up on fibre cereal and linseed.
Praying, hoping, wishing it does something.

dgift · 22/04/2014 09:57

littlegreengloworm · 22/04/2014 10:11

I am using lactulose and it takes two days to work but it works without being too harsh

dottytablecloth · 22/04/2014 11:30

littlehreen I'm due the same day!

dgift I'm 7 weeks and have no morning sickness either, I have very slight nausea in the morning but only if I think about it!

I need to get booked in for my 12 week scan will do it when GP surgery reopens after the Easter hols!

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 22/04/2014 13:25

Re bra: I'm not an odd size (34C) but can't stand underwire bras, so I use Lonsdale sport bras, annoying to put on (over the head) but quite comfy and cheap (£6).

Cineraria · 22/04/2014 13:44

They look like they'd be a great alternative to a maternity bra, Paranoid. My mum hates underwires so I might mention them to her too.

I'd love something like that to sleep in if they did my size (although I'm hoping to keep in underwired ones as long as possible for daytime) but the only similar style of bra I've found that has a small enough band and big enough cups is nearly £40 and I'm reluctant to spend that if I'm going to change sizes again in a couple more weeks.

Ladylel · 22/04/2014 14:17

Omg I feel like poo!
Anyone got any advise on feeling better. I just about got my head around dealing with ms but now I blaitently have a cold/virus and I'm already an asthmatic so feeling more tight chested that usual and puffing on my inhaler - I assume this is not a bad thing and shouldn't affect bubs?
In 2 minds to call doc to find out but don't wanna waste my time or theirs over the sniffles!
Don't wanna be mindlessly popping pills, I know paracetamol is the 'safe' drug as in no ibruofen or anything but is there anything I can take cold and flu wise just to help me out?

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 22/04/2014 14:18

Have you checked Debenhams? It's annoying when your size is not in the shops. Many years ago, in a small village before internet, I had trouble just finding 32D.

Ladylel · 22/04/2014 14:19

In addition to this what's the stance on hayfever tablets ? I've binned the packaging to what I currently have so cant even check the info :(
