Hi everyone,

A new thread for us chatty bunch due in November. Could someone repost the stats? I'm on my phone so can't do it. Thank you!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

miskate horoscopes are probably rubbish!

Miskate · 20/04/2014 11:18

The probably is my problem!!

Thisisimpossible · 20/04/2014 12:18

River and moffit just catching up on the thread and I am so so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourselves xxx

ElleOhElle · 20/04/2014 12:23

miskate I'm a bit of a horoscope fiend - I would translate that as yes something huge is going to happen - from that day you'll confirm that you have a beautiful baby growing - and that in itself is life changing!!!!

Spannertime · 20/04/2014 12:24

No probably. Horrorscopes are absolute bobbins. Claptrap. The belly button fluff of journalism. They're purposely vague so people make them fit into their lives. Think it through. How many millions of people are born the same month as you. How can they all have major events on the same day. The most life changing thing that will happen to most is that they have a massive poo and will then use the newspaper with the horoscope on to clean their bums.

That help?

ElleOhElle · 20/04/2014 12:27

haha spanner - you're right but I can't stop myself reading them ;-)

Elliekins · 20/04/2014 12:32

Oh River and Moffit, so sad to hear your dreadful news, be kind to yourselves and get some support and lots of rest.
I hope you're back soon. Thanks

Miskate · 20/04/2014 12:41

That does help, I am being a complete muppet. I'm an atheist scientist for gods sake.

Elliekins · 20/04/2014 12:43

Miskate, it's utter nonsensical bollocks (which I too am occasionally sucked into believing momentarily, IF it suits me).
If you choose to believe it, then Elle is right, the scan is a wonderfully life-changing event that will change your plans forever - in a good way! Smile
I too have my scan on the 29th and am SO excited and terrified at the same time. I feel like I'll never fully relax again, if pregnancy is this terrifying then being the parent of a real live child, teenager and eventually even an adult must be so scary - I doubt I'll ever stop worrying now!
I don't think my uterus has popped out from behind the pubic bone yet, despite looking 5 months preggers by the end of the day (muscles relaxing? Am bigger at night!).
I'm 11 weeks today, has anyone got any idea what I should see/feel when it does 'pop' out?

Miskate · 20/04/2014 12:49

Thank you both Elle and Ellie, a positive spin always helps too x

Thisisimpossible · 20/04/2014 13:02

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a good long weekend. Having gently chased at the docs, the midwife finally rung me at the end of last week and my booking in appt is now arranged for the 30th when I will be 11+2. Better late than never. We have booked a scan for Wednesday as I just can't bear to wait until the 12 week one on the 9th May and poor DH has had to put up with me in tears about it all because I've been so worried. It can't come fast enough - I am excited but equally scared about finding that something is wrong. Anyway, trying to stay positive and it's been lovely catching up on what you've all been up to in the last few days - loads of reading to do - this thread moves so fast!

Elliekins lol! My tummy does the same. It looks reasonably ok when I wake up but by the end of the day my jeans are properly undone and it seems to have exponentially expanded to something totally unlike the tummy I started the day with. I am loving the look of my new boobs, but the rest of it from the waist down isn't looking quite so good Grin

Annarose2014 · 20/04/2014 14:50

My stomach is absolutely huge, no hiding it now. My mum said "You're getting so fat!" But she looked so pleased at my belly that I knew it wasn't said in a bad way. She's over the moon! (1st GC) Its very sweet.

Bought yoga pants in size XL which are great. They're still a bit big but SOOOO comfy.

There's nothing palpable in my pelvis yet - i'm 12 weeks tomorrow, I think I'm one of the earliest on this thread. I can't feel anything. I wish I could! Hopefully soon.

My nausea is definately less. None of any real significance in the last week, really. Am also not quite as starving.
But the tiredness is still TOTAL, and I am feeling a wierd looseness in my hips. No pain thank God, but am developing a rolling John Wayne walk! It's odd, it's like they just want to roll!

Boobs are like two torpedoes, was a 36DD before but now am developing proper Porno Tits! DH is overjoyed! Grin

Spannertime · 20/04/2014 15:36

I'm 10 weeks today. So I'm a bit behind you Anna.

Thanks also for the opportunity to use the word bobbins. Always wanted to. Never had the chance.

WinterLover · 20/04/2014 16:11

anna im 12 weeks on tuesday Grin scan on wednesday too. getting so nervous now

alita7 · 20/04/2014 16:38

12 weeks on Thursday and I think my uterus is in the process of popping out, it seems to be feeling different, more twinging and I think I can feel it more obviously now - the hard bit is a bit higher up. I also look more pregnant and less bloated.

alita7 · 20/04/2014 16:39

oh and I also have massive knockers :D

alita7 · 20/04/2014 16:39

oh and I also have massive knockers :D

alita7 · 20/04/2014 16:40

oh and I also have massive knockers :D

amy83firsttimer · 20/04/2014 16:46

No need to brag alita !

RandomInternetStranger · 20/04/2014 16:50

My boobs are cracking. Gone from a 32B to a 32E already - love it!! (Please stay this time! Please stay this time!!!)

Elliekins · 20/04/2014 17:19

Damn, my boobs are bigger, but not much, they were a decent B and now they are about a C.
My rib cage has gone from a 34" to a 38" so it barely counts. ??

Elliekins · 20/04/2014 17:23

So there any hope for me for another big boob surge?
I have always wanted more boobage but I really thought I'd have had it by now (11w) if it was coming?
I bought a couple of D bras but there's still room for more knockers to fill it!
DP also eagerly awaiting boob growth to match belly growth!

amylou85 · 20/04/2014 17:25

My boobs have grown too but I'm determined not to get different bras - I bought 3 really expensive sets just before I got pregnant - I even said 'It'll be sods law I get pregnant now after spending all that money on bras!' And whadyaknow!

I have been really good with sickness (very minor) but reached 8 weeks today, and my tum can't decide if it is hungry, sick, bloated, empty so it decides to give all signals at once. I went for my favourite Italian meal in desperate hunger and as soon as I started shovelling it in, BAM sickness. I was SO mad! I love that meal! Had to stop half way through. Did that start for anyone else at around 8 weeks???? My body is confusing the hell out of me! As soon as I stopped I felt fine again!

Elliekins · 20/04/2014 17:25

Spanner, I've never heard the word 'bobbins' before (except for a cotton reel) but I like it!

Chivesmum · 20/04/2014 18:00

Sorry to those that have had losses - my heart goes out to you :( take care of yourselves

My bra is straining by the end of the day so I think I need a new bra - shame like everything else I CBa to go shopping!!!

Sickness and nausea still hideous here although eased a tiny bit this afternoon. DH has got a bug so hasn't been able to look after me in the manner to which I've become accustomed!!! Keep having lots of tears and I can't do this moments although I know I can and will just hope this hideousness eases soon!!

10 weeks today - 1/4 of the way there!!
