October 2014 - Thread 3... More morning sickness and tired mummy's!

We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

Crikey I've felt like crap today. I think having a night at midnight bedtime has totally wiped me out. Managed to eat two potato waffles at 9, then had to go back to bed until 1. Ate a few raspberries for 'lunch' and have been slumped on the sofa posting nonsense on here and sipping fizzy water ever since. I feel SO sick, big headache... grrr

Welcome twowolvesonemoon i feel you Ohthegoats I was up most of the night with my poorly dd. feel dreadful today. Really sick, uncomfortable and just want my kids to go to bed so that I can. Much to dismay of DH. Who was away last night whilst I handled everything on my own.

I started the day well, we walked for about an hour to a place to have lunch then back again since it was such a sunny day, but as DH is so hungover after my dad's bday celebrations last night we both ended up lazing and munching on junk for the rest of the afternoon! Forced myself to make us a healthy dinner before I fell into a sugar coma! 12 week scan tomorrow and attempt #2 to give blood samples, let's hope they remember to summon the anaesthetist and my veins feel more generous!

Exciting stuff Kirsti, (well, hopefully the bloods will be straight forward and not too 'exciting'!) anyone else got scans tomorrow?

No scan tomorrow, but I think I should tell my boss. Scared.

Well my scan is in 5 hours. Slept really badly and has weird dreams when I did sleep!! Think I'm a tad nervous... Welcome new "faces", this is one chatty group so pull up a chair and enjoy.

Good luck today Kirsti, what time is you scan? Oh, and did your scan letter contain something about the bloods? Mine didn't so I'm wondering if I just head up to antinatal to check when the scan is done...

I have just slept right through the night for the first time in weeks! Did a small hillwalk of about 4 miles yesterday and no nap so that is the way forward. Still feeling exhausted this morning though and wishing I could stay in bed rather than back to work. Felt like the shortest weekend ever!

Ive have minimal pgp pain this weekend (yay!) So not looking forward to getting back to work and the school run and all the agony that will bring tonight! Only 2 days in the office this week though, yay!!!!

I'm deputy. We've only got 7 teachers, one senior teacher is probably leaving in September, the head is looking for another job for September, and now I'll be leaving mid September too. Not forever, but still - for most of the year. It'll be a huge shake up for the school. I'm year 6 teacher, which no one ever wants to do, which means it's either going to be harder to replace me for a mat contract, or the one other teacher left in KS2 will have to do it, and she really doesn't want to.

In general it's going to upset a load of people! I don't really care, but I do.

I had a couple of crazy dreams, thought I felt quite relaxed yesterday but apparently my subconscious felt otherwise! My scan is at 12.50, my bloods were supposed to be done 2 weeks ago at my booking in appt but they had no luck, so decided to postpone it til my scan later in the week and bring up an anaesthetist to do them, but then they missed the note the booking-in midwife had put on my case notes to bring up an anaesthetist so decided to postpone it again til my 12 week scan! Gah! I'm hypothyroid (and have been since I was 5) so assumed they would have been quite anal about keeping an eye on that but heyho. They told me to increase my thyroxine dose at least but still would have preferred to have blood results back by now!

Good luck this morning Bump! I'd ask the scan technician or Hosp receptionist if you still haven't heard about having blood taken :) No harm chasing it up.

Morning all scan here today to and im petrified of getting a high risk result so much that I almost had a panic attack last night I recognised the signals just in time to head them of.

Good luck gunwalloe. I'm sure everything will be fine repeated endlessly to myself as well!!

Glad the SPD is a bit better today mum2. Try not to worry ohthegoats, they will cope and the extra time they have to replace should be enough. Binky, glad to hear someone is sleeping!! I would kill for a full night... [Envy]

I have my scan later today. bump my scan letter doesn't mention bloods either but I know that after scan I go to phelbotomist in clinic to get them done.

I've also been feeling crap this weekend so exhausted, I want some energy back.

krisit make sure you're well hydrated for you blood tests today veins tend to hide when we haven't had enough to drink, hope it goes well for you.

I hope all the scans go well today.

kirsti I've been having lots of very vivid dreams. ..very naughty dreams which is strange!!

My nausea is back to about a 7/10 last night and today. Exhausted too! Really looking forward to enjoying this pregnancy. It isn't happening so far.

So many scans today its sooo exciting, think this week is going to be a busy week, mine is on Thursday, I cant wait just want to tell everyone my news, hard keeping secrets.

I'll def be well hydrated for my scan so should be OK on that front I hope, as a kid they would have to have a nurse from the premature baby unit find my veins, i've just always been rubbish! I have little hand warmer pads that I use for hillwalking so hopefully theyll do the job too! Good luck gun and me23 on your scans too :)

Have had brown discharge/spotting this morning with some backache like the start of a period. I know it's common and I shouldn't worry but I am I've never had any spotting in previous pregnancies. Luckily I'm off work today so I'm resting and hoping it subsides glad I have a scan today.

All done, all looking good. Now back off to work!! Good luck everyone else!
