We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

You didn't fall asleep at Russell Howard did you?!

ohthegoats · 22/03/2014 08:23

Ha no. My only experience of seeing him live was in a massive venue with uncomfy seats. This was Richard Herring (who I LOVE), in a small, over warm venue with comfy seats. Embarrassing. I actually nodded onto the stranger next to me.

pebble82 · 22/03/2014 08:28

I love Richard Herring too.

pebble82 · 22/03/2014 08:28

I love Richard Herring too. W

pebble82 · 22/03/2014 08:29

We kept bumping into him at Edinburgh Festival last year. I think in the end he must have thought I was stalking him!

binkybunny · 22/03/2014 08:31

Just catching up on yesterdays posts and they made me smile. puppy that was such a sweet thing to write! ohthegoats oh dear did the stranger have to wake you up or was it one of those whole body jerking awake then trying to look normal moments?

mrsb87 · 22/03/2014 08:38

Oops! We had forgotten we have tickets for Russell Howard tonight, only remembered last night! Luckily I'm feeling much better at the moment so we're going to brave it!
I think I'm going to have a trip into work today with my scan pic and give them all a surprise! I need to try some new uniform on too, should be interesting as fat face don't do a maternity range!

ohthegoats · 22/03/2014 08:51

I've got a few fat face tunic things that I've been stuffing pillows up, reckon they'll do me for a while! Whole holiday wardrobe revolves around them actually.

mrsb87 · 22/03/2014 08:59

Yes ohthegoats me too! Thank goodness for staff discount. Quite looking forward to seeing my crew Smile

Kirstipops · 22/03/2014 09:01

I love Richard Herring, think I'll have to YouTube "Richard Herring slams a heckler" for my first giggle of the day. I fell asleep at the cinema watching Batman Begins and didn't even have pregnancy as an excuse, love the film too!

binkybunny · 22/03/2014 09:16

Enjoy Russell Howard mrsb would love to have seen him in Glasgow!

kirsti just watched the bump to buzz video and it made me cry! My DH is now tasked with writing me a song... I'm not holding my breath on that one Grin

Kirstipops · 22/03/2014 11:01

Binky I was thinking the same about getting DH to write a song too haha! The singer in his band wrote a song for his twin boys called "The Bib Song" which melted my hormonal heart, maybe that'll inspire him ;)

Kirstipops · 22/03/2014 11:06

P.s. I'm just outside Glasgow, if your hospital is the Princess Royal wouldn't it be weird if we both ended up there at the same time!

fatpony · 22/03/2014 11:39

Had a great scan this morning at 10+1, so excited to see everything was ok, little limbs waving around and loud heartbeat! Nearly wet myself with the full bladder thing. We had to go to john lewis after anyway so bought a tiny white hat and mittens, so sweet. Now to squeeze
Myself into a dress for a friend's wedding this afternoon :)

binkybunny · 22/03/2014 11:44

Thats great fatpony! Another good scan so exciting!

kirsti we're a bit further north near Perth so it will be Ninewells or PRI for us. Havent decided yet!

Kirstipops · 22/03/2014 12:36

Yay fatpony, that's a nice idea to toast your scan with buying baby bits n bobs!

mrsb87 · 22/03/2014 13:03

Well my morning out went well! I drove (for the first time in 8 wks!!) On my own down to the shop, had a good nosey around the new summer stock, tried on a few bits. Found a lovely top and cardigan which looks like it will last me a good few weeks. I tried on 2 pairs or jeggings, 1 in my normal size and the other the next size up and neither fit me!! Looks like I'm off to buy some maternity jeans tomorrow. I even got myself a cheeky subway on my way home, nomnom!

ohthegoats · 22/03/2014 14:19

Well, second scan went well. Dates been moved earlier by another day which makes me 12+6 today. All risks are low, so hopefully harmony results on Tuesday will just be confirmation. Oddly less clear pics than last time, but that doesn't matter. Might actually admit I'm having a baby now!

CareBearWithFangs · 22/03/2014 14:46

Hooray I got my letter for scan through, 14th April. I'll be 13 weeks by then.

I'm going to see Miranda tonight. I've just had a nice nap this afternoon so hoping I don't also fall asleep!

gunwalloe · 22/03/2014 14:49

Congrats on the scans fatpony and ohthegoats
ohthegoats did they talk you through the nuchal? Im so nervous for Monday!

gunwalloe · 22/03/2014 14:51

carebear im so jealous I would love to see Miranda!

Captainmcgraw · 22/03/2014 15:36

Had my scan at Early Pregnancy Unit today. Again a happy baby which was great. They found the reason for the spotting - subchoronial hematoma which means a bleed between uterus and placenta from what I could gather. Anyway they said it was small so not to worry, they will look again at next week's scan and then it will have to be monitored. On plus side it might mean extra scans. I also read that the vast majority of women will end up with a healthy pregnancy. Also found cyst on ovary but this doesn't need any attention apparently. Feels so good to have at least seen baby. I think we're all just beginning to accept this might be real now don't you think!

We told my 3 year old, she responded positively but not overly interested yet. Then later asked whether she could have an older brother instead!

CareBearWithFangs · 22/03/2014 16:12

That's good news captain Smile

Can I ask has anybody else skin lost the plot? I've got spots not just on my face but back, shoulders and stomach too! I look as awful as I feel at the moment.

Kirstipops · 22/03/2014 16:45

Yeah I had that for a couple of weeks too carebear! Seems to have settled down now though, I wasn't sure if it was raging hormones or my devil may care attitude to food last month that brought them out, maybe both! Had a couple of boil-looking numbers along my jawline, ugh!!!

Kirstipops · 22/03/2014 16:46

Great news captain! Glad it went well after a worrying couple of days for you.
